Chapter 1978: Chapter 1972: Found a Good Family

"Really?" Cohen looked at Chu Molin with hope, afraid it might just be a dream.

"Yes, really." Chu Molin nodded. They had already filled out the paperwork before; she just needed to complete the handover, and getting Cohen registered wasn’t much of an issue.

"Great, this will be my home from now on." Cohen shouted happily.

During these days, even though he called Qin Xue and Chu Molin mom and dad, he knew they weren’t really his parents. It was more like he forced Qin Xue and the others to bring him back, so he had been living cautiously. Now that he heard the adoption process was complete, he was truly relieved and felt that he finally had a family. He’s really happy.

"You little rascal, so all this time you haven’t considered us family, huh?" Qin Xue got up and heard Chu Molin and Cohen’s conversation, and couldn’t help but give Cohen a reproachful look. This child was too sensitive. Fortunately, she and her husband decided to adopt him; otherwise, who knows what would have happened to him.

"Mom." Cohen looked at Chu Molin and Qin Xue, feeling a bit embarrassed. He didn’t mean to, but back then he stubbornly insisted on going with them. He knew they weren’t his biological parents, yet he still shamelessly called them mom and dad. He was truly afraid Qin Xue and Chu Molin would leave him behind, but they didn’t; they took him home.

This eased his mind, but he didn’t dare to be too carefree, fearing they might not want him anymore. Thus, when he heard they were going to adopt him, he had been eagerly anticipating it. Today it was finally done, and he felt very happy.

"Silly boy, go play with your little brothers. From the first day you arrived here, you’ve been a part of this family. In the future, if anything’s on your mind, talk to mom and dad, don’t keep it bottled up inside, okay?" Chu Molin reached out and ruffled his hair. This child’s situation was somewhat similar to his own; he met the Ye Xiao family, and Cohen met theirs, so he understood Cohen’s feelings well.

However, he still had the last name Chu, not Ye, while Cohen took on his surname directly. This was because Chu Molin was quite grown up at that time, almost an adult, whereas Cohen was still young and didn’t know where his own home was or what his surname should be. Helplessly, Chu Molin let him take his surname; it wouldn’t make sense for him to take his wife’s surname.

"Got it, thank you mom and dad, I love you." Cohen said with a flushed face and then ran off. He felt embarrassed, very embarrassed indeed, didn’t he?

"This kid, I really didn’t know he thought this way. No wonder you went straight for adoption. I guess you’re more attentive than I am." Qin Xue sat next to Chu Molin, watching Cohen run off, realizing she had been a bit careless.

"This has nothing to do with attentiveness. It’s just that I understand his feelings. We’re both lucky; we both found a good family." Chu Molin reached out, took his wife’s hand, their fingers interlocked, watching the children playing together, and then exchanged smiles. A peaceful family together like this is truly happy, and they both loved this atmosphere.

"Is it just like you and dad?" Qin Xue thought for a moment and understood what was going on.

"Yes." Chu Molin did not deny it; that’s how he thought about it, and he had nothing to hide.

His wife was someone he would spend his whole life with; there was nothing he couldn’t share. As long as she wanted to know, he would slowly tell her, never keeping any secrets.
