Chapter 2007: Chapter 2001: Weighted Running
"You should at least know what she looks like." Qin Xue thought whether he went to work or not, he should at least know her appearance. If he didn’t tell her, how would she know who the person was?
"I don’t know. I don’t even like her, why should I care what she looks like?" Xiao Qi’s words almost choked Qin Xue.
"You really are something. You don’t know about such an important matter. Does that mean any woman can come up and tell you she’s pregnant with your child, and you’d have to take responsibility for them?" Qin Xue truly hadn’t met a man like Xiao Qi.
Does his lack of affection for someone mean he can be so indifferent? Then how would he act if he truly disliked someone?
Thinking about this question, Qin Xue finally understood why Xiao Qi could get along so well with Chu Molin. Because both of them are the kind who wouldn’t bother with people they dislike. They’re essentially strangers. It’s no wonder they became good friends, good brothers, with their shared traits.
The other person Qin Xue described as having a shared odor is currently leading a team for special training, so they could get fit early on, ensuring more security when going out to collect samples later.
"Mr. Chu, let’s start with a five-kilometer cross-country run today, and arrange the rest afterwards." Feng stepped forward to speak as Chu Molin arrived.
"Alright, do as you’ve planned. I’m just here to observe. If anything’s not up to par, we can supplement and improve." Chu Molin glanced at this bunch of new graduates, most of whom he had recruited, but his team didn’t need many people, so most would be sent back to their original places.
However, there’s one thing Chu Molin can guarantee: those who participate in the special training will make significant progress in their abilities. So, when they return, it will be a great help in their work, and also assist in their advancement.
Just that as Chu Molin looked at Feng and Thunder, Cloud was called back to manage Nangong Beiying’s company, so now there were only two out of the three main assistants left. Along with Ye Xuan, there were four people in total, and they could only proceed slowly.
No one expected Nangong Beiying to leave suddenly. Her departure meant they didn’t have enough people as planned. Fortunately, although she left, she didn’t break her promise. She couldn’t come in person, but her subordinates did, which meant no loss for Chu Molin.
Because all he wanted was someone to train these college students. As long as they could bring them out for him, it didn’t matter who did it.
It’s also because he was flexible with his plans; otherwise, it really wouldn’t be achievable.
"Alright, then we’ll do as we’ve pre-discussed. We’re heading out." Feng and the others had meetings before to discuss how to conduct the training, so with Chu Molin’s approval, it was easier for them to proceed.
"Okay, be careful out there." Chu Molin didn’t follow them; his training duties were scheduled for later in the day.
They discussed the benefits of this approach during their meetings, so he had no objections.
He also wondered how his wife was managing things at Old Three’s company. Had she resolved any issues? Chu Molin left before dawn, so he didn’t know what Qin Xue was up to. Considering Qin Xue’s personality, the words she exchanged with Xiao Qi yesterday would surely prove useless today.
If Chu Molin were around, he would definitely marvel at knowing his wife so well; his insight was truly accurate.
