Chapter 2011: Chapter 2005: So It Was an Impostor

"Let’s go, just remember to lock him up, don’t do anything else." Zuo You had been in their detective agency for quite a while now, and he was very clear about the things inside. They couldn’t do anything about him.

Jin Yufeng thought of something, turned around, and left the office. He had more important things to do.

Meanwhile, "Zuo Yaqin" at home had no idea her identity had been exposed and was still having sweet dreams.

Back with Qin Xue, she watched Wen Qing and Xiao Qi banter with each other, utterly bemused at how these two grown men could have such a side to them.

No matter what, she didn’t want to say anything and instead thought about what their company considered as criteria for recruiting employees.

"Xiao Qi, aren’t you recruiting today? Aren’t you going to check it out?" Qin Xue asked Xiao Qi.

"No, that’s handled by the HR manager. Sister-in-law, is there something you need?" Xiao Qi had already arranged for the company recruitment. If he had to personally handle everything, he would be exhausted.

"Nothing, there’s someone very competent over there, hope you don’t miss her." Qin Xue shook her head and said. The person she referred to was Ruan Xinya. As for another person, if it was her, she wouldn’t want her because that kind of person would only disrupt workplace harmony.

But since she hadn’t really done anything, just said a few words, Qin Xue wouldn’t take any action. So she let it be. Whether to hire or not was their company’s decision to make. After all, she didn’t really know if she truly had talent or any merits, right? If she was truly talented, then small flaws could be overlooked.

"Hearing you say this makes me want to see who you’ve spoken for, sister-in-law. Why don’t we go have a look?" Wen Qing stopped bantering with Xiao Qi and suggested.

"Sister-in-law, are you coming?" Xiao Qi thought Qin Xue came today with an agenda that hadn’t been addressed, so he asked.

"You guys go ahead, I’ll wait here for you." Qin Xue shook her head. She had no business there. Wasn’t everything already arranged by them? She decided not to join the excitement.

"Alright then, let’s go have a look." Xiao Qi didn’t want to go initially, but since Qin Xue mentioned it, his curiosity was piqued. He decided to go and check it out.

"Alright, then we’re off. Sister-in-law, are you okay here by yourself?" Wen Qing, more attentive than Xiao Qi, asked Qin Xue.

"No worries, as long as you’re not worried about me stealing your confidential files, it’s no problem at all," Qin Xue joked.

"Sister-in-law, if someone else said that, I’d be worried. But for you to say so is like a slap in my face." Xiao Qi thought of the expression he had when he suggested Qin Xue take over the company.

With the way she acted, even if she were given the company, she wouldn’t want it. So when Qin Xue said this, Xiao Qi wasn’t worried at all. He even wished Qin Xue would manage the company, so he could have time to pursue his love interest.

But Qin Xue wouldn’t do as he wished, so Xiao Qi could only continue his dreary work, hoping that heartless woman would return soon, not leaving him waiting too long. But Xiao Qi didn’t know it would be years before they met again.
