Chapter 2271: Chapter 2265: Visit the School First

"Brother-in-law, morning." Qin Yu got up and immediately saw Chu Molin cooking. How early did he get up?

"Morning, going for a run?" Chu Molin asked Qin Yu.

"Yeah, I want to go out, just don’t know where to." Qin Yu was not familiar with this place, so even if he wanted to run, he didn’t know where the track was.

"Wait for me a moment, I’ll put this to steam, then I’ll go with you." Chu Molin moved the pot of porridge onto the stove to simmer and added coal to the pot steaming the buns, so everything would be ready when they got back.

"Okay, I’ll go wash my face." Qin Yu thought it would be good to have company.

After Chu Molin was ready, Qin Yu was ready too. The two of them left the house, closed the main door properly and started their run.

"Now that you’re here, has someone taken over the family matters?" Chu Molin asked as he jogged alongside Qin Yu.

"The store in S Province is being managed by my parents, and the one at home is handed over to Cheng Kunmin." Qin Yu knew these things needed someone in charge, so he arranged everything before coming to the Imperial Capital.

"Are your parents okay with it?" Chu Molin wondered if they felt at ease leaving everything behind, especially with their younger sister still at home.

"At first, they weren’t willing. Later, I brought Dad over for a few days, showed him the business and revenue at the store. After that, he was willing. They said they want to transfer my little sister to a school over there." Qin Yu relayed his parents’ intentions to his brother-in-law.

"Well, if possible, transferring your little sister to the Imperial Capital would be better. That way, you three siblings can be together and look out for each other." Chu Molin thought of the possibility, though he imagined school transfers might be tricky.

"I don’t know if it’s possible to transfer her. I plan to ask about it after breakfast when I go check out the school with my sister. If we can transfer her, we’ll do it. If not, we’ll find another way." Qin Yu knew that would be the best, though it might be difficult.

"You should ask first. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll think of something." Chu Molin pondered for a moment, then said this.

"Alright, my little sister’s grades are quite good, but she doesn’t know anyone here. I personally think transferring might be hard." Qin Yu didn’t doubt his sister’s abilities, but he wasn’t sure if the school would accept a transfer at this stage, considering it’s high school.

"As long as her grades are good and she’s well-behaved, that’s an advantage. You go ahead and ask, see how it turns out. If it doesn’t work, I’ll come up with a way." Chu Molin thought if it didn’t work out, he’d ask around, maybe pay a transfer fee to persuade the school. If Qin Jiale’s grades were good, the school would certainly take her.

Chu Molin was confident in this since every school needs good students to set an example.

Even though, according to his wife, fewer people are going to college these days, it means having outstanding students is even more important.

So, Chu Molin was quite optimistic about the school transfer situation. You never know how someone really is until you meet them.

"Alright, I’ll go check it out with my sister then." Qin Yu glanced at his brother-in-law, wondering if he had a plan up his sleeve.

But Qin Yu didn’t ask further. He thought if they could make it happen, great, if not, they’ll think of something else.

"Okay, let’s focus on running now. Otherwise, we’ll use up too much energy." Chu Molin was fine, but Qin Yu wasn’t the same. Better to save energy and talk less.

"Got it, I know." Qin Yu was aware of this, but since he’d been talking with his brother-in-law about family matters, he was pacing his breath while running. If he could avoid speaking, he’d definitely choose not to.
