Chapter 2284: Chapter 2278: Not Studying Anymore

"Sis, don’t worry, I know what to do now. I won’t say those things anymore." Qin Jiale still thought she had said something wrong, which is why her sister said that. She didn’t realize her sister was stating the truth. Qin Yu understood, so he didn’t say much, and Chu Xiaoqiao, while observing Qin Yu’s appearance and hearing the sister-in-law’s words, glanced thoughtfully at Qin Xue. She wasn’t Qin Jiale; her thoughts were much broader.

Regarding this matter, Chu Xiaoqiao also didn’t know how Qin Jiale would feel once she found out, but she believed her sister-in-law, being such a kind person, should have a way to handle it, right?

"Sis, let’s go, let’s not talk about this anymore. We know—we all come from the same family, and I won’t abandon you." Qin Jiale clung to her sister’s arm. She would never speak like that again. It must have been hard for her sister.

"Alright, but Lele, you need to remember that there’s nothing absolute in this world. No matter the circumstances or what we’re facing, we need to approach everything with a calm mind, okay? Sometimes things happen out of necessity, but it’s not what anyone wants." Qin Xue looked at her younger sister, knowing she’d accepted them, but also that she hadn’t considered the situation more deeply.

"Alright, I will stay calm at all times and think things through carefully." Qin Jiale looked at her sister. Did even her brother think this way?

Qin Jiale was unaware of how much her siblings had hidden from her to protect her.

"That’s good, come on, let’s go." Qin Yu hadn’t said anything. Seeing his sister and cousin had reached an understanding, he chimed in.

"Little beauty, where are you studying?" Chu Xiaoqiao glanced at her sister-in-law. Seeing her shake her head, she nodded subtly and then started chatting with Qin Jiale.

"I’m attending high school in a county in H Province. Xiaoqiao, how about you? Are you in university?" Qin Jiale looked at Chu Xiaoqiao.

"Do I look like a student?" Chu Xiaoqiao laughed—she had already graduated.

"You’re not studying anymore? Didn’t my sis say you were only twenty? Isn’t that the age to be studying?" Qin Jiale asked Chu Xiaoqiao incredulously. Did she misunderstand?

"No, I’m not studying anymore. Make sure you study hard; without knowledge, it’s tough to make it in society." Chu Xiaoqiao looked at the innocent young girl—she was truly adorable.

"I will study well, but why did you stop studying? Is it because school isn’t good?" Qin Jiale was curious.

"No, I graduated early. I started school early, and so I graduated early as well." Chu Xiaoqiao shook her head. It was because she excelled academically that she graduated early.

"So that’s how it is. But you graduated quite early, huh? Someone who doesn’t know might think you’re a high school student." Qin Jiale looked at Chu Xiaoqiao, who was similar to her in age but two years older. Yet, Chu had graduated from university while she was still in high school. Comparisons like that could drive one crazy.

Qin Jiale didn’t doubt Chu Xiaoqiao because she knew some people were particularly capable, like her brother. She hadn’t expected to meet another impressive woman here, which made her feel both envious and admiring.

She was just saying it and wouldn’t genuinely be jealous of Chu Xiaoqiao. Everyone has their lifestyle; others being impressive doesn’t mean they excel in every aspect. Just as there are strengths, there are weaknesses. Qin Jiale understood well.
