Chapter 2497 - 2491: Father’s Telegram
Chapter 2497: Chapter 2491: Father’s Telegram
"Alright, have they adapted to things over there?" Qin Xue thought about them moving there and figured they must not be quite used to it at first, but they’d get better after a while.
"They didn’t say much, just that they’ve arrived and told us not to worry." Qin Jiale conveyed their father’s message to her sister. After they arrived, they sent a telegraph, which probably means they have some idea of what’s going on now.
Moreover, Fang Hong and the others are over there, so if there’s any trouble, they can ask for some help. In those situations, they can all help solve some ordinary issues together.
What Qin Jiale could think of, Qin Xue could naturally think of too. After all, Chu Molin used to work there. Colleagues he knew are still there, so knowing their parents have gone over, they’d help keep an eye out. And these are kind and understanding people, which Qin Xue believes in.
"Alright, I got it. I’m going to freshen up and rest. You all manage by yourselves." Qin Xue looked at her sister, not knowing what else to say. Forget it, let them handle themselves. She was truly exhausted and decided not to linger any longer.
"Alright, you go ahead. We know what to do, don’t worry." Qin Jiale didn’t continue chatting with her sister, as she had already said twice that she needed to rest. Further conversation would be inappropriate, so she stopped. For Qin Jiale, it wasn’t a big deal. Just making some food for the kids - she could handle that. Even if the adults didn’t eat, the kids still had to. Adults could endure, but children couldn’t.
After hearing her sister’s words, Qin Xue went straight into the space. Bathing here was the best, so whenever she had time, she would come in. There were also several favorite pets here, whom Xue Ling would watch over.
When Qin Xue entered the space, the Red Snake came to her feet. It dared not have any other thoughts now; it was truly scary and unbelievable that such a bizarre thing could happen.
It initially thought it could leave but found out it couldn’t. After coming back, it was truly subdued; it felt like a trap for the snake.
"Master." The Red Snake looked at Qin Xue pitifully. After seeing her once upon returning, it hadn’t seen her again for several days.
"Is something wrong?" Qin Xue just glanced at it. What was it trying to do?
"Nothing, just wondering if you still want me around," the Red Snake asked Qin Xue pitifully.
"I let you go before. It’s you who came back. You can’t blame me for that. Whatever you need to do, just handle it yourself. I won’t worry about you much anymore." Qin Xue entered the bamboo house, with the Red Snake following behind.
"Where’s the Snow Wolf?" Qin Xue didn’t see the Snow Wolf and didn’t know where it had gone.
"Xue Ling took it hunting. Xue Ling said the Snow Wolf is a natural warrior and shouldn’t be buried here. It has to be trained, so he took it out." The Red Snake also wanted to go, but Xue Ling didn’t allow it, saying it wasn’t part of the team yet.
The Red Snake also knew it had made a mistake, so it knew it was in the wrong. Since Xue Ling didn’t allow it to follow, it didn’t. Until they forgave it, it wouldn’t dare join.
And most of the time, they wouldn’t dare to act recklessly. It didn’t understand Qin Xue’s intentions before but does now. Once bonded with her, it couldn’t leave at will. Initially, it and Qin Xue formed a mysterious contract, and it couldn’t do anything about it now. It had to accept its fate. Having realized this, the Red Snake was now truly convinced.
