"You all carry on with your business. I’ll stay here for a while. Remember, young man, I was never here. Do you understand?" Qin Xue looked coldly at Gong Xi, as her purpose for coming to the Chenxi Factory couldn’t be known by too many people.

"Understood, I won’t say anything." Gong Xi had never met Qin Xue before, but seeing even the factory director had to listen to her, he felt perplexed but didn’t voice any questions.

He knew some matters weren’t his to inquire about, so he refrained from prying.

He had heard the saying, ’Curiosity killed the cat,’ so he resolutely decided not to ask about things he shouldn’t know.

"You may leave." After hearing him, Qin Xue immediately immersed herself in work, merely waving her hand to send them out, completely forgetting this was Guo Aiguo’s office as she somewhat took over the host’s position.

"But you..." Gong Xi looked at Guo Aiguo, wondering about that woman. What was her background, and why did the factory director indulge her so?

"There are things that you don’t need to know in detail. Just be polite when you see her in the future. If you offend her, there will be consequences," Guo Aiguo warned Gong Xi. Qin Xue was their benefactor, not to be crossed.

So it’s best if Gong Xi didn’t do anything, otherwise Guo Aiguo wouldn’t be able to help him.

There was another matter that Guo Aiguo didn’t mention to Gong Xi; better they find out themselves.

Guo Aiguo took Gong Xi to the workshop, where other clothes were still being produced. This, however, was something to be decided by Qin Xue.

Qin Xue’s thoughts and actions were different, making Guo Aiguo feel he didn’t quite understand her. Perhaps she would bring him another unexpected surprise. That’s uncertain though.

"There’s a lot you don’t understand. If Qin Xue says we can, then we can. Just stay alert." Guo Aiguo looked at this usually reticent young man, wondering what was happening today as he had asked several questions already.

If possible, he’d like to tell him who Qin Xue is since even Qin Xue’s name was unfamiliar to him, suggesting he truly didn’t know who Qin Xue was.

"Alright, I’ll keep an eye out. If she really is that capable, I’ll never doubt her again." What else could Gong Xi say? The director had spoken, so he’d listen.
