"Ye Li, if you have something to do, just go back. I can go alone." Qin Jiale didn’t want to be with him. This was not the outcome he wanted; it was more comfortable being alone.

"I have nothing to do; I’m just bored staying at home, so I came out for some air, just like you. So, let’s walk together. Don’t worry, I don’t bite." Ye Li chuckled at her, though if he bit, now wasn’t the time.

Ye Li’s feelings had long been clear, but he didn’t want to scare her. So, he wouldn’t make any moves unless he was sure he wouldn’t frighten her.

Such circumstances suited Qin Jiale’s temperament well, as she didn’t like being too intimate with guys.

Ye Li was one of them; she hadn’t been this close to any other male classmates.

"You..." Qin Jiale was exasperated, wanting to say she didn’t want him to join, but couldn’t put it into words.
