"Let’s go." Chu Xiaoqiao slung her bag over her shoulder and was the first to step out of the cave.

Before leaving, she touched her two fabric bags and smiled, "Sis, wait for me, I’ll bring you some nice stuff back."

Qin Xue was making breakfast at home when she sneezed.

"Xue’er, what’s wrong, are you catching a cold?" Chu Molin asked nervously as he entered the kitchen.

"You." Chu Molin couldn’t argue with her, so he said nothing.

He saw her complexion was normal, so he didn’t say more.

Qin Xue didn’t think of anything else; instead, she noticed he’d just returned from exercising and told him to freshen up.

"What kind of breakfast do you want?" Qin Xue wanted whelks noodles, but since there was sweet potato flour at home, a bowl of spicy-tangy noodles would be good.

"I’ll eat whatever you make, no need to cater to me." Chu Molin didn’t choose because if he did, it meant that she had to make one extra dish, which would be tiring, so leaving the decision to her was helping her.

"Alright, I’ll have something spicy, and the kids won’t have spicy ones. What about you?" Qin Xue asked Chu Molin.

"Let’s all avoid spicy food; it’s not good for the stomach early in the morning." Chu Molin frowned slightly and said slowly.

Eating spicy food first thing in the morning on an empty stomach is too irritating for the stomach; better not to have spicy food.
