Chapter 80
Chapter 80
Yin Hui felt Wei Luo’s “revenge”.
He gave in to her verbally and made up for it in other matters.
The small inner room became a battlefield for the two of them. She had a heart that refused to admit defeat, but was defeated one after another in his arms like iron chains.
Sometimes, the consciousness was not so clear, leaving only some pictures, such as the carved beams and paintings on the roof, the exquisite embroidery on the quilt, the mahogany texture on the window edge, and the pair of cold eyes that stared at her persistently as if jumping from the fire.
When everything returned to calm, Yin Hui had a feeling of being alive again.
The couch there was only about five feet wide, and the two of them were covered with a thin quilt, snuggling up naturally.
No one spoke, and no one wanted to move. Yin Hui put a hand on him unintentionally, just wanting to have a good sleep.
Wei Luo held her hand with his eyes closed, only feeling that every finger of her was lazy, as if all her strength had been drained.
Feeling drowsy, Wei Luo frowned, and was about to get up to go back to his room to sleep. He lowered his head to look at her, only to find that she had fallen asleep. Her long moist eyelashes intertwined tightly and her cheeks were as gorgeous as begonias.
Wei Luo actually didn’t really want to move, she slept so soundly, so he simply slept there with her.
Yin Hui fell asleep quickly, but woke up after half an hour as her throat was dry and astringent, and she was very thirsty.
She subconsciously put her hand under the pillow, but there was no bell prepared there. She opened her eyes in discomfort and met Wei Luo’s gaze.
Yin Hui touched her throat and said, “Thirsty, please pour me a bowl of tea. It’s on the desk.”
She was extremely thirsty, but he threw her clothes everywhere, and it would take a lot of time to find them one by one.
Wei Luo noticed that her lips were a little dry. Thinking of her cries when she was unconscious, Wei Luo turned around and sat up, covered her with the quilt with one hand, grabbed her robe and put it on temporarily with the other, and strode out.
Yin Hui sat up wrapped in a quilt, swallowing with difficulty what little saliva she had. Wei Luo came back with a teapot in one hand and a teacup in the other.
She didn’t ask for the tea cup, but grabbed the teapot, covered the quilt with one hand, and tightly grasped the handle of the pot with the other, held the spout in her mouth and poured it with her head up.
Standing aside, Wei Luo watched her pouring water without any manners. She took two mouthfuls so the tea trickled out from the corner of her mouth and slid down her neck.
Wei Luo suddenly became thirsty too.
Yin Hui finally put down the teapot and panted heavily, as if she had been thirsty for three days and three nights without a drop of water.
“Thank you.”
Wiping her neck, Yin Hui returned the half-full teapot to Wei Luo, and lay down again.
Wei Luo turned around and put the teapot and teacup on the table inside, and then picked up the clothes thrown on the ground one by one, keeping his own in his arms, and throwing hers on the couch.
“Aren’t you getting up?” After everything was tidied up, Wei Luo asked as he put on his clothes when he saw that she was refusing to move.
Yin Hui turned around quickly.
He had really thick skin (not shy). He could expose his body in front of her without a change in his expression, but Yin Hui couldn’t do it.
Wei Luo smiled imperceptibly, and after getting dressed, he came to the bed and sat down, stretching out his hand to lift her quilt.
Yin Hui clutched her hand abruptly and looked at him in disbelief.
Wei Luo’s eyes were clear as he said, “Get up, the maids will make guesses if we are too late.” It was not appropriate to have xoxo during the day. It was fine in the inner room, but not decent in the study.
Yin Hui sarcastically said, “Why? Do you only dare to do it but not to let people know?”
The man who had just had a full meal was in a good mood, so he just straightened her messy hair, “If you don’t wish to move, I will help you wear them.”
Yin Hui pursed her lips, glared at him, and told him to go out first.
Wei Luo was in a hurry. Afraid that he would delay her, he walked to the door and reminded her, “If you don’t come out in half a quarter of an hour, I will come in.”
After speaking, he put down the curtain.
Yin Hui had no choice but to start dressing. When Yin Hui put on her shoes and got off the couch, she looked down and saw that her dress was neat and tidy, and she could not see the marks inside at all.
There was a small dressing table by the window. Yin Hui finished combing her hair as fast as possible, then opened the window to diffuse the smell and went out.
Wei Luo was sitting where she had been transcribing before and was reading what she wrote.
Seeing her, Wei Luo looked at her from head to toe to make sure there was no flaw in her body, and said, “Ask the servant girl to serve tea.”
Yin Hui turned and looked at the table in the inner room. “Isn’t there one here? Do you want to drink hot tea?”
Wei Luo didn’t answer and instead turned a page in his hand.
Yin Hui suddenly realized that she had drunk tea directly from the teapot mouth. Wei Luo loved cleanliness.
She snorted, opened the door, and saw that Jinzhan and Yinzhan were on the other side of the hall. When they saw her, they all showed worried and inquiring expressions. Yin Hui ordered with a smile, “Make a pot of tea for the third master.”
The servant girls finally breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the third master did not punish his wife.
After the tea was brewed, Jinzhan brought it over, walked into the study, and saw the third master and his wife sitting on the side of the table, reading a book. The scene was very peaceful.
Putting down the tea, Jinzhan bowed her head and left.
“Why are you making a copy of the book?” Wei Luo asked after drinking tea.
Yin Hui looked out of the window and snorted, “I saw that you seem to like this book very much, so I borrowed the single copy at home and brought it back. I will copy it before returning it.”
Wei Luo looked at her. He suddenly remembered An Shun’er’s words again who said that she seemed very happy when she first came back and waited for him specially.
Maybe she wanted to present a treasure to him. She was full of affection, but he didn’t see her.
No wonder she felt wronged and played tricks with him.
