Chapter 2408: Meet Shao Fa Again

Alex Smith got the call from the person he had asked to follow the couple called him in panic this morning. That person told him that the couple had been attacked by a group of men. That person did not dare to get closer because he was worried about his safety. So, he called Alex Smith to ask about their opinion.

While they were talking on the phone, the person saw something that made him back up. He told Alex Smith that someone had been shot and was dead. He did not want to stay here anymore and left.

Alex Smith asked the person to send the location to him. That person sent the location to Alex Smith. Alex Smith rushed out to the location. When he arrived here, he saw a group of men who still struggled to stand up. He also could see that one of them had a hole in the area between his eyebrows.

The leader saw Alex Smith and tried to act tough even though he was in pain. " What are you looking at?"

"Who is your boss?" Alex Smith asked.

The leader frowned. "None of your business."

Alex Smith did not say more. He took out his gun and pointed it straight at the leader's head. Seeing this, the leader's eyes opened widely.

"Tell me now." Alex Smith narrowed his eyes.

"It is Miss Winter Lee." The leader could not help to speak the truth.

"Lee Family?" Alex Smith asked.

"Yes... Yes..." The leader nodded.

"Why?" Alex Smith asked again.

"I don't know. I am just being told by her to take the couple away. That's all." The leader said.

"I see." Alex Smith lowered his gun.

Alex Smith walked away, leaving the men behind.

"Lee Family? Why? Are they targeting Tang Yu Qi as well?" Alex Smith was thinking in his mind.

Another person contacted him, telling him that the couple was already at the airport.

"Already returned to her country? So, she comes here just to go to the mine?" Alex Smith questioned himself.

Yu Qi and Long Hui were waiting in the VVIP lounge for their flight to be ready. Fortunately, there was a refreshment section inside the VVIP lounge for the customers to fly privately. So, they filled their stomach, which had not received anything since the morning.

"Angelica Lee probably did not expect her aunt to do something like that." Yu Qi said.

"I hit her daughter because she said something about you at that moment." Long Hui said.

"What did she say about me?" Yu Qi became curious.

"Well, something about you will be a plaything to another man." Long Hui said.

Yu Qi laughed. "And you believe that? Actually, the man should be the one who is worrying because he might be the plaything."

"Yeah." Long Hui said.

Then, Long Hui noticed someone rushing toward Yu Qi. He immediately pulled Yu Qi over.

"You dare to show your face in front of me here." An old man shouted in front of the couple.

Long Hui and Yu Qi looked at the old man up and down, not recognising this old man.

Seeing the couple's reaction, the old man became more furious.

"You don't remember me?" The old man shouted again.

"Sir, who are you?" Yu Qi asked.

"You cause me to be fired, and you don't even remember me?" The old man kept shouting.

"Fired?" Yu Qi looked at the old man.

Then, something clicked inside her. She remembered this old man.

"Oh, it is you again, pervert old man." Yu Qi said.

Yes, the old man was Shao Fa, who had been fired by the Smith Family. Because of that, he got another job, but it was with a cleaning company. He had been tasked to clean the VVIP lounge at the Nash Airport.

"Who?" Long Hui asked.

"The one who harassed me on the flight last time. Turned out, he was from a company here who tried to collaborate with my Qinyue." Yu Qi explained to Long Hui.

"He harassed you?" Long Hui turned and looked at Shao Fa with a look that could kill Shao Fa.

Shao Fa was scared when he looked straight at Long Hui. He stepped back. However, he was still angry when he saw Yu Qi's smirk.

"Because of you, I had been fired. And I have to work as a cleaner here." Shao Fa said.

"You blame me for that?" Yu Qi felt ridiculous.

"Of course, because you refused to work on the collaboration with us." Shao Fa shouted again.

Some people who had been waiting inside the VVIP lounge had been watching them because Shao Fa was too loud.

One of the guards noticed it and rushed to them.

"What is going on here?" The guard asked.

"This old man came to us and kept talking nonsense." Long Hui answered.

"That's because you..." Shao Fa could not explain because it would embarrass him.

"What? Cat bites your tongue? Do you want to continue to let people know that you are a pervert?" Yu Qi asked.

"I am not a pervert!" Shao Fa shouted.

"Shao Fa, what are you doing?" A man who was in the same uniform as Shao Fa came forward.

"Excuse me, Sir, Miss. Please forgive him. He is a newcomer. He might offend you in a way that he did not know." The man apologised to Yu Qi and Long Hui on Shao Fa's behalf.
