Su Jinhai grinned. He knew his mother would prioritise him first. Su Jinxiu could just glare at her brother.

The three of them had already planned to sleep in Su Ke Ke’s house. As for Su Ke Ke’s father and grandmother, they had already returned to the village. Su Peizhi could not stay because he had work. As for Grandma Su, she preferred to stay at her own house.

"Can you order pizza?" Su Jinhai acted very casually.

"What are you doing here?" Su Ke Ke finally managed to blurt out the question that she really wanted to know.

"We are going to stay here for a while." Fang Lifen said.

"What?" Su Ke Ke was surprised.

"Your siblings would love to stay in the city for a while. You should be happy that you are going to be together. You can spend time together." Fang Lifen explained.

Su Ke Ke felt the explanation was a ridiculous thing that she had listened to for the whole day. Her mother talked like the three of them were close and happy siblings, but the truth was that it was never like that. She grew up feeling neglected by her mother. Her mother only paid attention to her younger siblings, especially Su Jinhai.

"Mother, my house only has one bedroom. Where are you going to sleep?" Su Ke Ke asked the question, trying to calm down.

"You can sleep here with us." Fang Lifen pointed at the space.

"You ask me, the owner of this house, to sleep in the living room while you sleep on my bed. And I can not allow myself to complain?" Su Ke Ke shouted in anger.

"Su Ke Ke, how dare you talk like that to your own brother? Apologise to him right now!" Fang Lifen scolded Su Ke Ke.
