"No need to lie to me. The police officer already told me the truth. I also watched the video evidence that the taxi driver had." Su Peizhi said.

"Jinhai did not mean to do that." Fang Lifen still defended his son.

"Since he does not mean to do that, he needs to come to apologise to the taxi driver." Su Peizhi said.

"What? Why should I apologise? I think I did nothing wrong." Su Jinhai protested.

Su Peizhi turned to the police officer. "Sir, can you please detain him? Let the taxi driver press charges on him."

"What? No... You can’t." Su Jinhai shook his head.

"Husband, you can not let something like that happen to our son." Fang Lifen shook her head as she listened to what her husband was going to let happen to their son.

"Then, follow me to meet the taxi driver. You need to beg for his forgiveness." Su Peizhi said.

"Yes... Yes... Let’s go to the taxi driver and apologise to him." Fang Lifen agreed on Su Jinhai’s behalf.

Su Jinhai wanted to protest, but Fang Lifen pulled his sleeve. The mother and son seemed to communicate with each other through their son. Fang Lifen wanted her son to listen to just follow Su Peizhi’s demand for now.

"Officer, can I ask you to follow me to meet this taxi driver?" Su Peizhi asked the police officer.

The police officer seemed to understand Su Peizhi’s intention. He nodded.

"Why do you want to waste the officer’s time? They still have other cases that need their attention. We can go there by ourselves." Fang Lifen said.

"I am afraid that if I don’t follow you guys, Mr Liang probably does not want to see you." The police officer said.

Fang Lifen frowned. Actually, that was what she wanted. There was no need for them to go and apologise to that taxi driver. She wanted to talk to Su Peizhi about this matter after leaving the police station. If a police officer followed them, they could not talk.

Su Peizhi understood what his wife tried to do. That was why he wanted the police officer to follow them. He knew that his wife would manipulate him later. If the police officer were with them, his wife would not be able to do so.

"It’s fine. I can spare some time. Anyway, I still need to go and see Mr Liang regarding this matter as well." The police officer smiled.

So, they went to the taxi driver’s house. The taxi driver, Mr Liang, had to take a day off because of the incident. He felt dizzy after being punched by Su Jinhai. He did not want to risk danger to his customer.

He opened the room and saw a police officer and several people. He recognised the police officer. This police officer was the one who handled his case yesterday. He also recognised the people behind the police officer.

"Yes, Sir. What is it?" Mr Liang spoke.

"Well, they have something to say." The police officer stepped back and let Su Peizhi step forward.

Su Peizhi faced Mr Liang. Then, he bowed to Mr Liang.

"Mr. Liang, I am Su Peizhi. The father of the man who punched you in your face. It is my fault for not teaching my son properly. Please forgive me." Su Peizhi apologised to Mr Liang.

Mr Liang did not expect the father of the man who punched him in his face to be like this. He thought he would be the same as his mother.

"Jinhai! Come here!" Su Peizhi called his son.

Su Jinhai hesitated to step forward.

"Su Jinhai! Come here!" Su Peizhi called the full name.

Fang Lifen pushed her son forward. Su Jinhai could not help to step forward. He walked to his father’s side.

"Kneel down and apologise." Su Peizhi said.

Su Jinhai knelt down with his heart filled with resentment.

"Hurry up. Apologise!" Su Peizhi said.

"I am sorry for punching you." Su Jinhai said.

"Mr Liang, I am willing to pay you the compensation. I just hope that you do not press charges." Su Peizhi said.

He could earn the money. However, if his son could charge on this, it would remain permanent in his record. Even though he might not serve jail time, it might affect his work search.

Mr Liang looked at Su Peizhi and Su Jinhai. He knew this feeling. He also had a son. He knew that this was the way that Su Peizhi looked out for his son.

"Fine. I will not press charges." Mr Liang said.

"Thank you... Thank you..." Su Peizhi thanked Mr Liang. He even bowed his head several times.

Su Peizhi and his family finally left Mr Liang’s house. They drove to Su Ke Ke’s house.

"You sleep here?" Su Peizhi asked his wife.

"Yes." Fang Lifen nodded.

"There is one room in this house. You tell me that you are going to stay in a cheap motel or something like that." Su Peizhi said.

"How can we waste money since we already have a place here?" Fang Lifen said.

"Then, tell me, who is sleeping on the bed?" Su Peizhi asked.

"Well, Jinhai." Fang Lifen answered.

"Then, where do Ke Ke sleep? She is working as a nurse. It is a tiring job. She needs a proper rest after a long day’s work." Su Peizhi scolded Fang Lifen.
