"I would not have hired her as my assistant if she weren’t excellent at what she does." Ming Xuehai replied confidently.

"I am glad to hear that," Yu Qi said. turning back to Lin Weiwei. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms Lin. Keep up the good work."

Lin Weiwei nodded fervently, unable to hide her excitement.

"Well, let’s talk business. Why did you need to see me tonight?" Yu Qi asked, shifting the focus.

"This is the report regarding Sheng Logistics." Ming Xuehai said, sliding a thick file across the table toward her.

Yu Qi reached for the file and opened it. As she skimmed the contents, a frown marred her features.
