Chapter 2665: Chapter 2665: Want To Seek Justice For Her

"Yes, Master. To me, I only woke up yesterday. I did not realise how much the world had changed until the person who rescued me pointed it out." Chang Shuchun explained.

"I see. And during this ’awakening,’ did you see the face of the one responsible? Do you have any idea who kidnapped you?" Lou Weizhe pressed.

"I don’t see anyone, but I do know who he is." Chang Shuchun nodded, her voice turning firm.

"Who was it?" Lou Weizhe asked, his eyes flashing with a cold light.

"Ma Chunwei," Chang Shuchun stated clearly.

"What?!"

The reaction was instantaneous and explosive. The disciples recoiled in shock, and Chang Shuchun herself was taken aback by the sheer intensity of their anger.

"Why is everyone reacting this way? Do you all know him?" Chang Shuchun asked, her heart sinking.

"We know him all too well." Lou Weizhe spat, his teeth gritted in fury.

Lou Liwei’s face transformed into a mask of frigid rage, his aura flickering dangerously around his silhouette. "Indeed... that wretched bastard actually dared to lay his filthy hands on a child of my house." He stated, his voice like cracking ice.

"Master, give the word! Let’s go find him and break every bone in his body!" One disciple shouted, his hand instinctively reaching for where his weapon would be.

"Yeah! He needs to pay for stealing three years of our junior sister’s life!"

The room erupted as everyone demanded immediate retribution against Ma Chunwei. Everyone supported the idea of beating Ma Chunwei.

"Everyone, calm yourselves! Even if you set out this very second, you would not be able to find him." Chang Shuchun shouted over the din.

Her statement was like a bucket of cold water, effectively silencing the room. They all turned to her with expressions of utter confusion.

"What do you mean by that, Shuchun?" Lou Liwei asked, his eyes narrowing.

"Ma Chunwei is already dead." Chang Shuchun stated simply.

"How can you be so certain of that?" Lou Weizhe asked, his suspicion piqued.

"Because the person who saved me, the one who dragged me out of that situation, informed me of his death." Chang Shuchun replied.

"And who exactly is this person? How could she possibly know for certain that a man like Ma Chunwei is dead?" Lou Liwei asked.

"Junior Sister, you can’t be so naive." Someone chimed in. "You can’t just believe a stranger’s word. For all we know, she could be one of his accomplices trying to throw us off the scent."

"I don’t believe she would lie to me. She had no reason to." Chang Shuchun defended her saviour. "As for who she is... I suspect some of you are already familiar with her name."

The mystery only deepened their curiosity. They leaned in, waiting for the name of the woman who had managed to best a man like Ma Chunwei.

"Who is she?" Lou Liwei prompted.

"Her name is Tang Yu Qi. She is a famous chairwoman of a major business empire... though I have forgotten the specific name of the corporation." Chang Shuchun admitted.

The room fell into a profound silence as the disciples exchanged stunned glances. The name was legendary, even in their circles. In recent years, Tang Yu Qi had become a household name, celebrated not only for her iron-fisted success in the business world but also for her revolutionary contributions to the field of medicine.

"Why do you place such absolute faith in her?" Lou Liwei asked, his eyes searching his disciple’s face for any sign of hesitation.

"Hmm... I just don’t believe she would have any reason to lie to me about a matter like that. Something about her presence was simply... honest." Chang Shuchun replied, a small, genuine smile tugging at her lips as she recalled Yu Qi’s calm demeanour.

"You have always trusted people far too easily, Shuchun." Lou Weizhe interjected, his protective nature making him wary of anyone who had approached his sister during her disappearance.

"Well... you really should meet her face-to-face. Only then will you truly understand the kind of person she is and why I feel this way." Chang Shuchun said, her voice filled with conviction.

"Since our Shuchun has already spoken up for her, Master will give you his word." Lou Liwei said, his expression softening as he looked at his youngest student. "When the time comes for us to meet Ms Tang, we will not make things difficult for her. We will treat her with the respect she deserves for bringing you back to us."

...

As for Yu Qi, after they finally checked out and departed from the Saisei Ryokan, she took the wheel and drove Grandpa Tang straight to the specialised greenhouse. There, he personally supervised the collection of the rare medicinal plants that had been carefully packed and secured for the journey back home. Grandpa Tang was beaming with a wide, satisfied smile the entire way, clearly invigorated by the successful trip, until they finally pulled into the driveway of the Tang Residence.

Grandpa Mu had originally intended to stay in the city for a single night before catching his flight back to Fanghai Nation. He had requested that Yu Qi drop him off at a nearby hotel situated close to the airport for convenience. However, Grandpa Tang would not hear of it, insisting firmly that he stay at their house for the night instead. He pointed out that they already had a comfortable spare guest room prepared and waiting for visitors.

After several rounds of friendly persuasion and stubborn insistence from Grandpa Tang, Grandpa Mu finally relented and agreed to stay for the evening. Yu Qi had also decided to stay at the Tang Residence for the night.
