Tang Qin Hao was left entirely, hilariously speechless after hearing his assistant’s elaborate, worst-case reasoning.

“Fine… Fine… Just come inside.” Tang Qin Hao finally gave up trying to reason with him, stepping back and inviting his assistant into the room.

Afterwards, Tang Qin Hao carefully closed the heavy wooden door, turned the deadbolts, and secured the thick safety chain as an extra physical precaution against an intrusion.

When Yu Qi and Long Hui silently breached the perimeter wall, they observed Richard Lee standing under the bright floodlights, shouting orders and instructing his rough subordinates to be exceptionally careful while moving the large, heavily padlocked wooden crates.

Yu Qi’s eyes narrowed. Sensing something deeply amiss about the heavy sealing of the cargo, she immediately activated her specialised supernatural eyesight, channelling her energy to peer straight through the thick wooden barriers of the nearest crate. The exact millisecond her vision penetrated the wood, the expression on her face changed into one of absolute, horrifying rage.

Inside the cramped, suffocating crate, there was a small, heavily sedated child wrapped in a blanket. Her heart hammering against her ribs, she quickly shifted her gaze to examine another adjacent crate. It was exactly the same tragic sight. Then another. And another. The vast majority of the shipping crates stacked on the pallets contained innocent young children who had been ruthlessly crammed inside like commercial merchandise, completely unable to scream or escape.

“Brother Hui, there are living children locked inside those crates.” Yu Qi whispered, her voice dropping into a register that was frighteningly, lethally cold.

“They are undoubtedly preparing to ship these children out to the main labs of the MicroTech Organisation for human experimentation.” Long Hui replied, his face turning into a grim, murderous mask as his aura flared in the shadows.

“Then let’s completely blow this operation wide open and expose their disgusting crimes to the global public.” Yu Qi said, a dangerous, terrifying smile slowly spreading across her beautiful face. “Let’s see exactly what happens to the untouchable Lee Family dynasty when a monstrous human-trafficking scandal like this completely obliterates their social reputation.”

“Sure.” Long Hui agreed, his eyes locking onto the target. “Let’s take him down.”

Yu Qi and Long Hui merged into the darkness, patiently waiting for the perfect tactical opportunity to isolate Richard Lee from his armed guards. The opening finally presented itself when Richard Lee excused himself from the main loading bay, wiped the sweat from his brow, and walked completely alone toward the isolated, dim restroom at the back of the warehouse facility.

Yu Qi immediately flashed a sharp hand signal to Long Hui to execute the strike.

Without making even the slightest rustle of sound against the concrete, Long Hui swiftly and ghost-like approached Richard Lee from his blind spot.
