Chapter 2770: Scout The Warehouses
Chapter 2770: Chapter 2770: Scout The Warehouses
“I agree completely.” The Bureau Chief responded. “If the contents of this recording are accurate, we cannot allow them a single minute to move or liquidate the victims.”
“Dispatch the forward reconnaissance teams immediately. Silent entry.”
Within minutes, several unmarked, high-speed vehicles quietly departed from headquarters under complete radio silence. Instead of rushing in recklessly with sirens blaring, the elite reconnaissance officers established concealed observation posts several hundred meters away from the industrial perimeter. Utilising military-grade, high-powered binoculars, advanced thermal imaging equipment, long-range telephoto lenses, and low-altitude stealth drones, they silently monitored the compound without alerting the perimeter guards.
For nearly forty gruelling minutes, they observed every movement in the loading bays. Heavy transport truck after transport truck slowly pulled into the fenced compound. Armed workers continuously carried large, heavily padlocked wooden crates toward several massive shipping containers waiting under the floodlights. To an untrained, casual observer, the entire scene appeared to be a standard, late-night commercial export operation.
However, the operator controlling the high-altitude thermal drone suddenly froze, his eyes widening behind his display.
“Commander… take a look at the thermal channel.”
“What is it?”
“We have multiple living heat signatures radiating from inside the wooden cargo crates.”
The commander immediately leaned over the console, staring at the live infrared feed. The thermal spectrum clearly revealed distinct, human-shaped signatures curled up inside each wooden crate.
Not long afterwards, a forward scout quietly commando-crawled closer to the secondary warehouse wall from a concealed drainage position. Peering through a narrow, rusted ventilation opening in the corrugated steel, he witnessed several armed guards roughly dragging terrified, trembling children across the concrete floor toward the open shipping containers.
Some children struggled desperately against their captors’ grip. Some wept silently, their faces wet with tears, having cried until their vocal cords were completely raw. Others had thick industrial tape slapped across their mouths, their small hands and feet tightly bound with heavy zip-ties.
The scout watched in horror as one little girl continuously shook her head in sheer terror, silently crying as she was callously forced inside a dark crate before the lid was nailed shut with heavy pneumatic hammers. The officer clenched his fists so tightly his tactical gloves groaned, his jaw working in pure rage. He immediately transmitted the encrypted live feed straight back to the central command centre.
“Command, this is Recon One. We have direct visual confirmation.”
“The recording is entirely true.”
“There are multiple kidnapped children being packed into crates inside both warehouses right now.”
The heavy atmosphere inside the command center instantly turned lethal and ice-cold.
“Operation greenlit!”
“Launch the rescue immediately! Total lockdown!”
Within seconds, the emergency command room exploded into a flurry of intense tactical activity as orders were issued in rapid succession.
“Seal every single transit road and highway exit leading out of the Newark West Industrial Zone!”
“Deploy all available heavy tactical assault units to the perimeter!”
“Alert the Child Protection Division and trauma specialists!”
“Deploy the central forensic unit!”
“Notify all regional emergency medical response teams to converge on the outer boundary!”
“No one enters, and absolutely no one leaves those warehouses without my direct authorisation!”
Dozens of heavily armoured tactical assault vehicles immediately tore out of the staging facilities, tyres screaming as they sped toward Newark West. Fleet patrol cars established ironclad roadblocks at every major intersection surrounding the industrial district, cutting off all avenues of escape. Specialised sniper teams quietly slipped onto adjacent rooftops overlooking the warehouse roofs, locking their scopes onto the armed guards below.
A fleet of medical ambulances lined up just outside the hot zone perimeter, engines idling, ready to receive the victims. Firefighters also stood by with heavy equipment in case the desperate criminals attempted to torch the facility to destroy the evidence.
Meanwhile, a second, equally massive operation was launched simultaneously across the city.
Multiple high-level arrest squads departed toward every single known Lee Family residential property, executive estate, and corporate asset. The authorities could not afford even a second of delay. If the core members of the Lee Family received even a hint that the port operations had been compromised, they would either burn the family archives or flee the country via private jets before dawn.
Fortunately, because it was already deep into the night, the vast majority of the Lee Family’s core decision-makers were comfortably asleep inside their ancestral estate. That logistical reality made execution of simultaneous arrest warrants infinitely easier.
Back at the Newark West Warehouse perimeter, the tactical assault commander glanced down at his glowing tactical watch.
“All assault elements, report status.”
“Alpha Team stacked and ready.”
“Bravo Team breached perimeter, ready.”
“Charlie Team securing rear exits, ready.”
“Snipers locked on targets.”
“Medical and rescue teams standing by.”
The commander raised his gloved hand before bringing it down sharply in a striking motion.
“Execute! Go, go, go!”
BOOM!
The massive steel warehouse doors exploded inward as heavy breaching charges shattered the reinforced hinges in a shower of sparks and smoke. At that exact microsecond, heavily armed tactical assault teams stormed into both warehouses from multiple entry points simultaneously.
“PEOPLE SECURITY BUREAU!”
“DROP YOUR WEAPONS IMMEDIATELY!”
“GET ON THE GROUND! NOW!”
The armed warehouse guards froze for a fraction of a second, completely paralysed by the violent, sudden breach. However, several hardened mercenaries instinctively reached for the automatic rifles slung over their shoulders.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Precision warning shots echoed deafeningly off the high metal ceilings. A few stubborn guards attempted to fire back into the flashbang smoke, but they were hopelessly outmanoeuvred and outgunned. Within less than three minutes, every single armed operative had been violently tackled, disarmed, or pinned face-down to the cold concrete with assault rifle barrels pressed directly against the backs of their heads.
