“If Master Liang was able to travel back and forth between the cultivation world and the outside world, he must have been thoroughly shocked to discover that the Miracle Space had vanished after you reclaimed it.” Yu Qi observed thoughtfully.

The moment Xiaohua finished her sentence, the circular formation engraved upon the door flared with a blinding, majestic light. The entire subterranean corridor began to shake violently under the sudden surge of power.

A heavy, reverberating rumble echoed from deep within the steel chamber. The incomplete section of the formation suddenly began filling itself in with condensed, liquid golden light, as if an invisible brush were drawing the missing runes. The gap was swiftly being completed by the entity’s own energy from within.

“Brother Hui…!” Yu Qi’s expression shifted dramatically as the energy pressure spiked.

“I see it! Hold on to me!” Long Hui instantly reached back and took Yu Qi’s hand in a tight, unyielding grip, pulling her close while shielding the children. “Everyone, brace yourselves!”

With a heavy metallic groan, the massive steel door slowly began to slide open, revealing total pitch-black darkness within the chamber. However, utilising their enhanced vision, they could still clearly discern the distinct structural outline of the interior. Exchanging a brief, cautious glance, they stepped carefully across the threshold into the room.

“Welcome…” A voice echoed softly.

This time, Yu Qi and Long Hui heard the utterance with crystal clarity. However, it sounded exceedingly feeble, as though its owner had already exhausted the absolute brink of its remaining vitality.

Yu Qi pulled out a moonlight pearl from her storage, and the space was instantly bathed in a soft, brilliant luminescence. The moment the interior illuminated, they were stunned to discover a majestic, ancient tree standing at the absolute center of the room. “Who are you?” Long Hui questioned, taking a step forward.

“You…! You are my creator!” The voice suddenly gasped out in overwhelming realisation.

The massive tree began to rustle and sway its leafy branches, even though there was not a single gust of wind inside the sealed chamber. Its movements were brimming with unrestrained excitement, making it vividly apparent that it was deeply moved upon recognising Long Hui.

“What do you mean?” Long Hui tilted his head slightly, his expression laced with confusion.

“You are His Excellency Xie Likui, are you not?” The tree asked eagerly. “Just a moment ago, my senses were entirely focused on my children, so I failed to recognise your presence.”

“How do you know who I am?” Long Hui asked, eyeing the ancient trunk.

“Your Excellency, I originated directly from your sacred domain. After quietly cultivating within your domain for over a thousand years, I gave birth to my twin offspring. Sometime after that, a powerful entity discovered me and forcibly extracted me from your realm.” The tree’s voice turned profoundly nostalgic. It paused briefly, drawing in a ragged breath before continuing, “That individual travelled across countless lands with me. Eventually, he brought me to this world and enshrined me within this isolated chamber. I do not even know how many decades or centuries have slipped by since then. My spiritual energy has been continuously harvested and drained over the years… At this rate, I will soon wither away completely.”

The tree’s voice carried a lingering, profound sorrow.

“Brother Hui, this tree is indeed a spiritual entity from your Miracle Space. Our earlier deduction was spot on.” Yu Qi stated softly.

“Mhm…” Long Hui nodded in agreement.

He gazed at the massive trunk for a moment, clearly sifting through his ancient memories to see if he could recall its existence.

“Do you have a name?” Yu Qi asked gently.

“A name? No, I have never possessed one.” The tree answered.

“Are Xiaohua and Xiaoliu the children you gave birth to?” Yu Qi pressed softly.

“Are those their names? Xiaohua… Xiaoliu… Those are truly wonderful names. I am really glad that my children have a master like you.” The tree sounded genuinely touched and pleasantly surprised.
