Chapter 2837: Hand Master Liang To Qin Xia
Chapter 2837: Chapter 2837: Hand Master Liang To Qin Xia
“Well, it looks like I will need to submit another formal leave request to the hospital.” Yu Qi remarked with a light sigh.
“What should we do with him in the meantime?” Long Hui asked, turning his sharp gaze toward Master Liang.
“Hmm… we can’t afford to let him die just yet.” Yu Qi noted thoughtfully.
“Let’s completely seal his meridians and transport him back to the cultivation world. He can remain locked up under the strict supervision of my four guardians.” Qin Xia suggested casually.
Hearing that proposal, sheer panic seized Master Liang’s heart. Being dragged to the cultivation world with his meridians thoroughly blocked, forced to live under the constant guard of the Ancestor’s four legendary guardians, was a fate worse than imprisonment.
“What?! No! You can’t possibly do this to me!” Master Liang screamed out in horror.
The three of them simply turned to look at him, completely unbothered by his frantic outbursts.
“Ha… You don’t get a say in this matter.” Yu Qi stated coldly.
“Allow me.” Qin Xia stepped forward, his eyes devoid of warmth.
“No… Stay back… No!” Master Liang scrambled backwards, trying frantically to escape.
Unfortunately, Long Hui was already standing behind him, blocking his path before pinning him firmly to the ground.
Qin Xia approached with slow, deliberate steps and clamped a hand down hard on Master Liang’s shoulder. Master Liang instantly let out a blood-curdling scream of pain as a surging current of pure spiritual force coursed through his body, forcibly sealing his energy pathways.
After a long, excruciating minute, Qin Xia finally released his grip.
“It’s done.” Qin Xia reported calmly.
“We should head outside and exit this research facility first.” Long Hui suggested.
“What about him?” Yu Qi gestured toward the trembling Master Liang.
“Leave him here for the time being. Once we clear out of the research facility, we can retrieve him and let your senior brother take him away to the cultivation world. You don’t need to worry about leaving him unattended in this space. His cultivation is completely sealed, so he is entirely harmless now. Besides, your little companions are all here. If he tries anything foolish, they will happily handle him.” Long Hui reasoned.
“That’s right, Master! I will guard him for you!” Bo Ya patted his chest proudly.
“Me too! I will keep a sharp eye on him!” Aoi bounded up in front of Yu Qi, wagging his tail.
“Alright. I will leave him in your capable hands.” Yu Qi nodded in agreement.
With that settled, the three of them turned around and exited the space of Sere.
Even with his internal cultivation thoroughly blocked, Master Liang refused to accept his grim fate. The moment the adults disappeared, he dragged himself up and began running frantically away from the area.
He sneered internally, mocking them for their sheer foolishness in leaving him unbound. He genuinely believed that being left behind gave him the perfect opportunity to make his daring escape. He sprinted straight toward the nearby lake, hoping to find a way out. Instead, he spotted a little boy and a little girl casually playing near the edge of the water.
When the young girl turned around, Master Liang got a clear look at her face. Her facial features bore a striking resemblance to both Yu Qi and Long Hui. Seeing this, he immediately jumped to the conclusion that she must be a secret child born to the two of them before their marriage.
A sinister scheme instantly brewed inside Master Liang’s head. A dark grin spread across his face. Without wasting another second, he lunged forward, grabbing the young girl firmly from behind.
“Eek! What the?!” Xiaohua yelped in genuine surprise.
Hearing her cry, Bo Ya and Aoi strolled over at a leisurely pace. They looked at Master Liang holding Xiaohua hostage without a single trace of panic on their faces.
“What do you think you are doing?” Bo Ya asked with a bored expression.
“Contact your master right now! Demand that she release me immediately! Otherwise, I will snap her daughter’s neck!” Master Liang threatened menacingly.
Bo Ya and Aoi exchanged a silent glance before turning their gazes back to Master Liang.
“Well, go ahead and do as you please.” Bo Ya said nonchalantly.
Master Liang blinked, utterly taken aback by the boy’s bizarre indifference. However, he was thrown into even greater confusion when Bo Ya added another nonchalant comment.
“Just remember one thing. Don’t actually kill him. Master still needs him alive.”
Master Liang froze. What in the world did that mean? Don’t kill him? Who was he referring to?
Before he could process the thought, a sweet, innocent voice echoed from the small girl trapped in his grip.
“So, breaking his bones is completely fine, right?” Xiaohua asked eagerly, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
“Just don’t break his legs.” Xiaoliu Chimed in, stepping closer. “If he can’t walk, it will make things tedious for Female Master later.”
Master Liang finally noticed the little boy standing nearby. He, too, shared that exact same uncanny resemblance to Yu Qi and Long Hui.
What were these strange children even babbling about?
Before he could piece together an answer, a sickening CRACK echoed through the air.
Master Liang gasped as an agonising wave of pain exploded through his wrist. Driven by sheer reflex, he instantly released his hold on the girl and clutched his broken hand.
Xiaohua landed gracefully on her feet like a nimble cat. She spun around on her heel, staring up at Master Liang with a menacing glare.
“You are the vile thief who drained our mother’s spiritual power.” Xiaohua declared coldly.
“What?! What garbage are you talking about?! When did I ever do such a thing?!” Master Liang roared back in agony and confusion.
