Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 2031: Breakfast Before Going Dungeon Diving

Chapter 2031: Breakfast Before Going Dungeon Diving

-----

After exposing Armageddon’s heart and letting her show me more of her true emotions, I walked away from her divine realm the moment she started conjuring giant meteors at me. Wow, she was crazy.

Still, she had gotten a little lovely with me, huh? She had even kissed me twice on the head and licked my face with her long tongue...

She was a cutie deep down. I knew it.

All girls like her always had a soft side!

Anyway, now that I had accomplished my goal of cheering her up to the point where she was regressing back to her hyper-aggressive self, I escaped.

Once back home, I walked downstairs to enjoy breakfast with everyone. My family and friends were already eating together.

"Well, look who finally woke up!" my mother said.

"Hey, everyone," I greeted them.

I had been the only one still asleep because I had distracted myself too much earlier. Master Felicia was also present, eating right next to my father as if nothing had ever happened.

The shamelessness of this woman knew no bounds.

"Alright, looks like you were busy somewhere else, but I saved you some breakfast just in case," my mom said, placing several plates of food in front of me. It was a healthy and plentiful meal.

"Ah, thank you, Mom!" I replied, digging in happily. "So a lot happened yesterday, huh? Did everyone have fun?"

"We sure did!" Lara nodded with a bright smile. "I wonder if the Dungeon is fine now. Are there no more floods of divine beasts?"

"No, not anymore," I said with a nod.

"That’s good to hear!" Lara replied. "Aw, I wonder what we should do today. Should we just chill? Or maybe we could learn alchemy?"

"Remember that we still have to go to the dungeons, Lara," Mist reminded her. "We need to complete them to deal with the evil curse."

"O-Oh right! Sorry, with everything that happened yesterday, I forgot for a moment, hehe," Lara giggled innocently.

"Well, that’s fine," Celeste said. "You’ve always been that way anyway, Lara."

"Hey, I am not that clumsy!" Lara protested, rubbing her chin.

"So we’re exploring dungeons today?" Celica asked. "I thought we could get another day to take it easy, but maybe we should hurry after all. This danger is threatening everyone in the city..."

"Yeah... I can’t be too relaxed either," Ruby added. "My father’s life depends on us clearing this curse and cleaning out the dungeons..."

"I agree," Zephyrus nodded. "We had better hurry and do our best. We have already cleared plenty of dungeons, though. How many are left?"

"Well, looking at the list..."

I opened the list within my system, where I could check all the dungeons.

The Goo Farm Dungeon. (Conquered)

The Blind Fish Dungeon. (Conquered)

The Swamp Shrimp Dungeon. (Conquered)

The Dark Savanna Dungeon. (Conquered)

The Glacial Caves Dungeon. (Conquered)

The Burning Forest Dungeon.

The Poison Swamp Dungeon.

The Stone Cathedral Dungeon.

And the Insect Nest Dungeon.

Aside from these, there were the higher-level ones:

The Giant Beast Dungeon.

The Underwater Abyss Dungeon.

The Volcanic Hellscape Dungeon.

The Aberrant Jungle Dungeon.

And the Underground Tower Dungeon.

And finally, the most dangerous of all: the Dragon Tomb Dungeon, where the highest concentration of darkness and the curse lay.

"Alright, so we have cleared half of the low-level dungeons," I said. "We still have the Burning Forest Dungeon, the Poison Swamp Dungeon, the Stone Cathedral Dungeon, and the Insect Nest Dungeon left. We can complete these today, right?"

"Yeah, sounds great!" Lara nodded. "Same teams as before, or should we mix things up?"

"You can choose whichever teams you want," I replied. "Unlike last time, there are only four dungeons now, so I guess I can go with my girlfriend." I took Aquarina’s hand as she blushed and nodded.

"Nice. It’ll be like a date then," she said, kissing my cheek.

"A date?" I asked, laughing. "You’re the only one who would consider going into a dangerous dungeon a date..."

"Hahaha, well, we can steamroll them easily, right?" she shrugged, full of confidence.

As I talked with Aquarina about the upcoming dungeon conquest, my friends discussed which dungeons suited which teams best.

"Hmm, alright. Maybe we should pick the ones that are weaker to our main elements?" I suggested. "The Poison Swamp... I think Lara and Mist would be the best for that one."

"What about the Stone Cathedral?" Celeste asked. "Does anyone have an element strong against stone?"

"I think you just need brute force for that," I said. "Celica and her boyfriend can handle it."

"B-Boyfriend?!" Celica gasped, her face turning bright red.

"Big sis, don’t say that out of nowhere!" my brother blushed, looking utterly adorable.

"Well, aren’t you two together already? I bet you smooch all day," I giggled, teasing them.

"T-That’s not... um..." Celica tried to protest, but she covered her mouth in embarrassment.

Ah, so I was right. They really did smooch whenever they could, huh?

Well, that was only natural once you finally had a girlfriend or boyfriend, right?

With Aquarina, we smooch all the time, even after years together.

Actually, it was our right to smooch as much as we wanted!

"Big sis, please stop trying to embarrass us..." my brother pleaded, his eyes a little watery.

"Heh, that’s my revenge," I smiled cockily.

"Anyway!" my mother interrupted. "Hey, don’t leave us out of this, alright? We are very happy you completed those dungeons, first of all. Second, we want to help you with the rest."

"Ah, I also wanted to ask something, Mother," I said. "How is your dungeon conquest going so far?"

"Girl, we just started two days ago. Do you expect us to finish them all so quickly?" my mother sighed, shaking her head. "We are advancing well. In one or two more days we should finish, right?"

"Yeah," my dad nodded. "Those dungeons are obviously much harder, especially with the corruption."

"Huh, so you’re taking your time. I guess it really is that difficult then," I said.

"It’s not hard! We’re just being careful," my father replied nervously. "If we go all-out, you know the entire dungeon might collapse, right? We’re not weak or getting rusty!"

"Yeah," Aquarina’s father agreed.

"It’s just taking its time, but if someone... a certain someone helped us, things would go much smoother," Aquarina’s mother added, glaring at Master Felicia, who was happily eating the meal my father had prepared for her.

"Huh?" Felicia looked up, suddenly realizing everyone was staring at her. She had been ignoring the entire conversation. "Ahem, I should get back to my room right now... Anyway, good luck."

"Where are you going, you damn lazy bum?!" Nepheline screamed angrily. She summoned a brick on the spot and hurled it at her, striking her squarely on the head.
