Chapter 2064: Sylphy’s Plan
Chapter 2064: Sylphy’s Plan
-----
Beelzebub’s face grew serious as the light radiating from Arachne enveloped him, repairing the last imperfections and completing his evolution.
He felt her power surge through his new body. His eyes widened, and a single tear slipped down his cheek before he wiped it away with a kind, warm smile.
Now, a part of his apprentice would always live within him, accompanying him so he would never feel alone again.
Or rather...
"...! Sylphy?"
His eyes widened as he noticed that the repaired sections of his body also contained fragments of her.
A piece of her soul. A piece of her body.
"Even now, you helped me..."
He gazed at the tall silhouette before him, his face etched with guilt.
"Is this really okay?"
She could not speak, but she nodded.
"I see..."
Beelzebub took a step forward, and the world around him warped. A blue floor materialized beneath him as dirt and trees vanished from sight under the force of his presence.
His fists glowed with brilliant energy as he slammed them into the ground with all his strength.
CRAAASH!
RUMBLE!
BOOOM!
The cosmic stone walls that separated them from the Dungeon Core—walls so resilient only a god-like being could hope to shatter them—shattered instantly into countless pieces. The fragments were absorbed into his body, where Sylphy’s fused remnants refined his exoskeleton, granting it a mysterious cosmic blue and purple hue.
With long hair formed of purple flames and crackling red demonic energy, Beelzebub stood at the center of the Demonic Dungeon Spirit Domain that radiated naturally from him.
"It is still infected with her curse..." he said. "Is this okay?"
Anna nodded. Her butterfly-like fragments fluttered through the opening and surrounded the core, beginning to fuse with it.
From within those butterflies, a weakened Alice emerged and absorbed all the energy within the dungeon core.
Beelzebub watched in disbelief as something truly shocking unfolded.
Sylph’s fragments gathered and swirled together around the core, fusing with it—curse and all.
Through the core, they began weaving into the shape of something enormous, a new relic he had never seen before.
Her Divine Consciousness Avatar surged forth, moving her enormous spiritual hands to meld her Body and Soul Fragments together.
Then she summoned "materials"—the Metallic Pieces of both Scarlet and Sapphire, which Beelzebub had not even seen before.
They melted into a glowing blue-and-red metal, fusing with Sylph’s soul and body fragments and gradually taking form.
It was a certain artifact she had been mastering throughout her time in this mountain, one required to complete her quest.
She was now pushing herself to create it using her own body, soul, and the shattered remains of her beloved divine god weapons.
"So this is what you wanted to do...?!" Beelzebub exclaimed, surprised. Then he nodded firmly and smiled. "Very well then. I will go save them. Please, watch over us."
Beelzebub darted away, spreading his giant wings and buzzing forward at lightning speed toward the area where Ignatius, Yggdra, Naturia, Pyuku, Armageddon, and the others battled Lolth and her two divine familiars.
After he left, Sylphy smiled. Her Divine Consciousness expanded as her Soul and Body melded further into shape, fusing with the molten metals of Scarlet and Sapphire.
Amid the pieces of her soul, Alice’s damaged fragments—worn from Dimenion’s attack—began to reawaken. Her eyes widened as she sensed Sylph’s divine presence.
"S-Sylphy? What... what’s happening...?"
"Alice. I need your help. Please, use all the EXP we have and imbue a System Seed in every single one of my pieces."
"...?!"
Alice’s eyes widened. Memories flooded her mind, and she gasped in panic, but soon relaxed as she felt something within the area.
"A System Seed... in every piece of yourself?"
"...They aren’t that many. It is doable."
"But why— Wait, what are you planning?! Sylphy, what’s going on?"
"Please, trust me."
"..."
Alice, fragmented as she was, nodded. Her entire being began absorbing the EXP, fusing and compressing it.
She noticed that many of Sylphy’s Skills had been damaged, yet she pressed on, melding their fragments together.
Sparks of power surged from the process. Her eyes widened as she felt the accumulated energy swell forward like an endless fountain.
Glutton suddenly emerged from a spatial portal, opening his jaws as countless treasures and materials poured into the vortex Sylphy had created, using every available resource.
Everything.
Alice divided herself into countless pieces, each forming a newborn System Seed, and guided them into every fragment.
Sylph’s Divine Consciousness Avatar moved everything with divine power and mana, weaving something beautiful.
"Scarlet... Sapphire... don’t worry. I will bring you back."
The lingering souls within their pieces melted alongside their metal, fusing with Sylphy’s body and soul fragments to form an immensely tough divine alloy.
The Dungeon Core sat at the center of this vortex of alchemy and magic, fusing with everything.
Lolth’s destructive curse, once so lethal, now fueled the process. Its power was reversed into a boundless source of energy and absorbed without end.
Over fifty new System Seeds were created, each one serving as a building block for the new "Sylph."
And from that agony and pain, something began to form.
Something immensely strong.
Alice’s eyes widened.
"I can’t believe it... I see... so this is it..."
She smiled and nodded.
"Fine, let’s finish this."
She slowly turned into light and merged with the endless vortex as Sylphy’s Divine Consciousness expanded the power of Alchemy and Synthesis.
And then...
FLAAASH!
A pillar of blinding golden light erupted. The entire dungeon trembled violently. From within the giant pillar, Sylph’s Divine Consciousness smiled as her giant hands held...
A precious relic!
A giant, round cauldron with a bubbling interior that exuded power far beyond what anyone could have hoped for.
Yes, this was...
An Alchemy Cauldron!
Its form grew clearer as it continued to develop. Metallic colors and embedded crystals refined its shape while Sylphy transformed the fusion of her body, soul, and two divine god weapons into her Soul-Bound Cauldron.
Although she had once planned to create one with special materials, that was no longer possible. She had poured everything she had into crafting the greatest cauldron imaginable—by turning herself into one in the process.
To become the perfect vessel for the highest form of Alchemy.
