Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 2101: Mal’thir’s Immense Strength

Chapter 2101: Mal’thir’s Immense Strength

-----

Mal’thir was not a fallen archangel, but a pale imitation of that concept given monstrous form. This was how most dungeons created their creatures. They took existing concepts and brought them to life, shaping them into living, monstrous beings.

This process had begun by accident. Dungeons were never originally designed for such a purpose. Yet over the eons, the God of Dungeons had refined and reshaped them, turning those early mistakes into the complex systems now known as dungeons.

The monsters accumulated vast amounts of data, which was constantly sent back to their creator. When Lolth awakened their intelligence, these living concepts retained every memory from all their previous lives. The repeated agony of dying again and again has driven many of them mad with rage and vengefulness toward humans. Even with their newfound intelligence, their core desire to destroy humanity and all mortals remained unchanged.

Now, however, the monsters possessed enough intellect to cooperate across different species. This made them far more dangerous than ever before.

"I have learned from every single death and every single life I took before my awakening," Mal’thir explained. He transformed into a blazing beam of light and streaked across the skies, striking Arafunn from dozens of angles at once. "And this is a technique I created myself!"

"Technique?!" Arafunn grew pale as he watched Mal’thir blur through space, his sword of intertwined light and darkness gleaming with deadly brilliance.

"Harmonious Chaos Sword Art."

"First Form – Apotheosis!!!"

Mal’thir smiled viciously as he raised both weapons high. With a burst of manic laughter, he kicked off the air and reached Arafunn in an instant. His blades tore through protective barriers and aura alike, leaving the elf’s body covered in dozens of deep cuts. Blinding white light and corrosive demonic darkness erupted from every wound.

But that was not all.

BOOOMMM!!!

"Gaaaah?!"

A powerful thunderbolt descended from the heavens without warning and struck Arafunn directly. The Storm Sovereign had been gathering power the entire time, waiting for the perfect moment when Mal’thir weakened him. Arafunn vomited blood as the accumulated damage became too much, sending him plummeting from the sky.

"Nngh...! T-This is...?!" Arafunn coughed up more blood. He looked down in horror and saw the Hive Empress waiting below, her massive jaws opened wide to devour him.

In that desperate moment...

"Arafunn!!!" Ninhursag cried out in panic. She smashed through a swarm of monsters with her axe, cleaving them apart as she charged straight toward him. "Storm Axe Arts – First Form: Thunder Cleave!"

RUMBLE!

The reason Ninhursag had taken up the axe was because her son had personally taught her his own legacy. This weapon was the treasure she carried in her heart, the gift Zack had given her.

FLASH!

She transformed into a raging storm of lightning and wind, appearing before Arafunn in an instant and catching him safely before he could fall into the Storm Sovereign’s grasp.

"N-Ninhursag!"

"Stop holding back and go all out, Arafunn!" she shouted. "Don’t take it easy anymore!"

"I know...! I guess I have to give everything now," he replied. "Come out, everyone!"

While Ninhursag blocked the incoming attacks, Arafunn summoned his spirits and familiars with full power for the first time.

FLAAASH!

He channeled their strength like never before. In that instant, all of them were summoned at once, materializing beside him.

"Master! You’ve finally summoned me properly! Just faintly channeling my power won’t cut it anymore, you know?! You have to call me for real sometimes! I’ve been feeling so lonely in there!" Melodia, the High Fairy Princess of Melody and one of the strongest wind spirits, appeared as a beautiful little girl with flowing green hair and shining golden eyes. Her dress was adorned with glowing musical notes.

"Thank you as always, Melodia. I apologize for spending so little time with you, my dear friend," Arafunn said gently, his handsome face showing sincere regret. His words made Melodia blush deeply, her heart skipping a beat.

"W-Well, if Master insists!" she replied, fidgeting with her hair shyly.

One of the main reasons Melodia followed Arafunn so loyally was his striking beauty, which had caused her to fall for him instantly. In truth, Arafunn was an exceptionally handsome man, and many women had developed feelings for him over the years. Yet all their attempts to win his heart had ended in failure.

"CRAAAAH!" Tempest Eagle, the King of the Skies, let out a fierce cry. He was one of Arafunn’s strongest tamed monsters, a giant eagle with brilliant emerald feathers and razor-sharp golden talons. Arafunn had raised him from a mere chick long ago.

"I know you can talk, so why are you screaming?" Arafunn asked.

"Well, sorry for being a bird!" Tempest Eagle shot back. "Also, when are you finally giving me a real name?!"

"Tempest Eagle is your name," Arafunn replied with a confident smile.

"No, that’s not a name!!!" the eagle cried angrily.

"Hmmm... Now that I have reached Tier 10, I hope I can be of greater help to you, Master..." The Wind Riding Whale King appeared next. As the ruler of the wind-riding flying whales, his enormous body was so massive that he blanketed the entire sky when summoned. An entire ecosystem thrived on his back.

"I’m glad to have you here, old friend. I’m also happy you finally broke through the last rank of Tier 9 and reached Tier 10," Arafunn said warmly. "Please guide me through the skies once more."

"But of course, my dear friend," the Wind Riding Whale King replied with a deep, resonant laugh.

"As free as you always are, huh? Although now you’ve gotten yourself entangled in quite the mess, Arafunn!" A powerful spirit without fixed shape, the Embodiment of Wind and Freedom, spoke next. It took the form of a giant serpent soaring through the winds, equal in strength to Melodia. "Care to explain yourself to me?"

"I think you’ve teased me enough already. You know the situation," Arafunn sighed. "Please cooperate...! I’m not usually the type to ask this way, but we cannot afford to hold back any longer."
