Chapter 363: ENTERING THE LIONS’ DEN
He crossed his arms, exuding an aura of unshakeable confidence that filled the surrounding void.
"See?" Aaron added confidently, gesturing as his rank increased once more. The shift was palpable, a wave of power rippling outward, distorting the stars nearby and amplifying his already immense presence.
"With my control over space, merging and devouring is quick. Now enough of the talk. Let’s go pay some group a visit," Aaron declared, his voice laced with anticipation.
Aaron bent space around him with a mere thought, the reality folding like paper under his will.
He planned to go directly to the lions’ den, stepping through the warp with purposeful strides, the air crackling with the intensity of his resolve.

"Any luck finding him?" Reign asked Chen Ye, his voice sharp with frustration as he paced around the control room impatiently.
His footsteps echoed off the metallic walls, each one heavy with the weight of his growing irritation, his fists clenched at his sides.
"Nope. It’s almost as if he disappeared completely from the map. We have covered almost everywhere and still can’t find him within this galaxy. Or what remains of it," Chen Ye replied, tapping his fingers rhythmically on the table while deep in serious thought.
His brow furrowed in concentration, the dim lights of the monitors casting shadows across his face, highlighting the lines of exhaustion from endless searching.
"How annoying. You have to do better. That’s the reason I’m working with you. My revenge is long overdue," Reign stated with clear dissatisfaction etched on his face.
His eyes narrowed, burning with unresolved anger, the air around him thick with the tension of his unmet vendetta.
"As you can see, I’m doing my best. But if you are dissatisfied, why don’t you take command and find him yourself?" Chen Ye clapped back, his tone edged with defiance.
He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms as he met Reign’s gaze steadily, refusing to back down under the pressure.
"That will be a waste of time. I rather return to my galaxy. I’m sure he won’t be able to escape and have to face me later in the future," Reign answered, waving off the cumbersome actions of having to take command with a dismissive flick of his hand.
His posture remained rigid, a clear sign of his reluctance to dive into the minutiae of the hunt.
"That’s it! Why didn’t we think of it?!" Chen Ye roared suddenly, rising to his feet abruptly.
The chair scraped against the floor with a harsh sound, his eyes widening in realization as the pieces fell into place in his mind.
"Think of what?" Reign asked with a deep frown creasing his forehead.
He stopped pacing, turning to face Chen Ye directly, his curiosity piqued despite the annoyance lingering in his expression.
"Why did we confine our search to just within this galaxy? If you had the ability to grow stronger and you have enemies way stronger than you chasing after you within an area, what will you do?" Chen Ye questioned Reign, his voice rising with excitement.
He gestured animatedly, emphasizing each point as if unveiling a grand strategy.
"I will leave to grow stronger and return when I’m strong enough," Reign replied thoughtfully, slowly following Chen Ye’s line of thought.
His mind raced ahead, connecting the dots with increasing clarity, the implications dawning on him like a gathering storm.
"How frequently do you receive updates from your galaxy?" Chen Ye pressed, seeking more evidence to support his hypothesis.
He leaned forward on the table, his knuckles whitening as he gripped the edge, eager for confirmation.
"Periodically," Reign replied, frowning bitterly now.
Realization slowly dawned on him, casting a shadow over his features, his jaw tightening in response to the unsettling truth emerging.
"And?"
"I haven’t been receiving one for a while now," Reign admitted, his frown giving way to raw anger.
His eyes flashed with fury, the veins in his neck standing out as the full weight of the situation crashed down upon him.
"We better start moving now before he completely devours your galaxy!" Chen Ye called out urgently, already prepared to give commands to the unified armies.
He moved toward the communication console with swift steps, his hands flying over the controls, the room filling with the beeps and hums of activated systems as mobilization began.
"There’s no need to do that. I’m back," Aaron’s voice echoed smoothly through the control room, carrying a tone of casual inevitability.
He stood there, having appeared without warning, his figure materializing like a shadow stepping into light, his expression one of mild amusement amid the charged atmosphere.
"You bastard. Quite bold of you to appear before me. I hope you have finished writing your will because I’m going to tear you limb from limb," Reign said coldly, staring daggers at the man who had appeared out of nowhere before them.
His eyes burned with icy fury, his massive fists clenching at his sides, the veins in his neck pulsing visibly as he restrained the urge to lunge immediately.
"So you showed yourself. I never considered the possibility that you would show yourself before us," Chen Ye said calmly, a neutral look on his face.
He tilted his head slightly, his posture remaining composed, fingers still hovering over the console as if the interruption was merely a minor inconvenience in his calculations.
"You guys suck at the job of searching for me. And hey, I was getting tired, so I decided to hasten things," Aaron replied to Chen Ye, a playful smile curving on his face.
He shifted his weight casually from one foot to the other, his body hair catching faint glints from the overhead lights, exuding an air of effortless superiority that only heightened the tension.
"Enough talk. It’s time to crush you," Reign declared with his deep, gravelly voice, stepping forward until he was standing just before Aaron.
The floor seemed to vibrate under his heavy footsteps, his presence filling the room like a storm cloud ready to unleash its fury.
Reign’s big build overshadowed Aaron, painting an awkward picture where the titan’s sheer mass loomed like a mountain over a solitary tree.
The contrast made Aaron appear almost fragile in stature, yet his steady gaze and relaxed stance defied any sense of vulnerability, turning the scene into one of stark, unbalanced confrontation.
