Chapter 562: NEW ADVENTURE
Chapter 562: NEW ADVENTURE
Aaron steeled himself, every muscle locked tight as he prepared to receive the incoming attack head-on.
He refused to use any of his abilities, knowing they would offer little protection anyway.
Instead, he wanted to test the limits of his chaos physique and feel the full weight of the strike.
The attack reached him in a blinding flash.
It obliterated his clothes instantly, shredding the fabric into ash that scattered on the wind.
The raw force tore through his hardened flesh next, ripping it apart like mere paper.
Layers of muscle and skin peeled away under the relentless pressure, exposing bone and sinew in a gruesome display.
It continued deeper, destroying everything until only his gleaming skeleton remained, standing eerily intact amid the devastation.
Everything around Aaron had been completely erased, leaving behind a perfect null void where nothing existed, no sound, no light, no trace of the earlier sea or creatures.
"Hmm. It is my loss," Chen Mo muttered quietly, his voice steady as he sheathed his sword with calm precision.
"Yes, it is," Aaron replied, his voice emerging from the empty space.
His flesh began knitting itself back together piece by piece.
Muscle fibers wove over bone, skin smoothed across the surface, and soon his body reformed completely, whole and unmarked once more.
"Guess that’s playtime over," Aaron muttered, his tone shifting to something colder and more decisive.
"Allow me to give you a swift death."
He disappeared from his spot in an instant, reappearing directly in front of Chen Mo.
Without hesitation, Aaron placed his right hand firmly on Chen Mo’s head, fingers pressing against the scalp.
"Devour," he said calmly, activating the full ability of his chaos physique.
Chen Mo did not resist.
He simply stood there, allowing Aaron to do as he pleased.
His qi reserves were completely empty, leaving him with no strength to fight back anyway.
Aaron’s hand transformed in a fluid motion, stretching and reshaping into a giant, gaping mouth lined with swirling darkness.
It swallowed Chen Mo whole in one smooth, powerful gulp, pulling the entire body into the void within.
"Fighting stronger enemies is way more profitable than devouring celestial bodies," Aaron muttered truthfully, a satisfied edge in his voice as power surged through him.
His rank increased sharply after devouring Chen Mo, climbing all the way to two-star universal quadrant, just steps away from the paradox rank.
[You devoured a clone of someone with the mystic arms.]
[You have devoured a fragment of the mystic arms.]
[Fragment of Mystic Arms]
Ability: You gained a 20% increased chance of hitting your enemy with any attack.
"Not the main deal, but I’ll take it," Aaron shrugged lightly, feeling the small but useful boost settle into his core.
He returned to the third realm without delay.
Cruelly and efficiently, Aaron wiped out the rest of the demonic cult members.
Too much bad blood had already formed between them to spare anyone now.
After the last one fell, he wrapped up his business in the third realm by devouring the entire plane itself.
The massive surge of energy pushed his rank even further, straight to fifth-rank universal quadrant.
"It seems you are done with your task here," Dracula said as he appeared behind Aaron, floating calmly in the vast emptiness of the void.
"Yup. And it seems you are done with your revenge," Aaron replied, turning to face the older figure.
"Yes. It’s thanks to you," Dracula said warmly. "And that’s exactly why I need to make a request."
"Right away, old man," Aaron answered with a small nod.
"I want you to open a space rift leading to a random place," Dracula explained.
"Huh? Are you sure, Gramps?" Aaron asked, skepticism flickering across his face.
"Yes. I’m very sure," Dracula confirmed.
"I’m done with my revenge. There’s nothing much left for me here."
"Easy peasy. You can stay with us, Gramps," Aaron tried to persuade him gently.
Dracula shook his head slowly, declining the offer with quiet resolve.
"I want to start anew. I already know my legacy is in good hands. I need a new pace. Consider it a retirement vacation."
"Alright. If you say so," Aaron nodded, respecting the decision.
He opened a stable rift with a casual wave of his hand, making sure it led somewhere truly random yet safe to travel through.
"I already said goodbye to the others," Dracula told him, stepping closer.
"You are on the right path, Aaron. Do not lose sight of the goal. Grow stronger faster and quicker than ever."
He tapped Aaron’s shoulder one last time, the gesture firm and fatherly.
Then Dracula passed through the rift and disappeared from sight.
Aaron stared at the spot where the rift had been, his expression quiet and thoughtful.
Mixed feelings stirred inside him, a touch of sadness, respect, and quiet acceptance, but his emotions remained steady.
He took it all calmly and closed the rift with a small sigh.
Dracula, on the other hand, found himself stepping out into an entirely new entity.
It felt far removed from the one Aaron inhabited.
This was not part of the nine entities under the One Above All, but something different entirely , an entity belonging to another legend race, pulsing with unfamiliar energies and ancient mysteries.
But Dracula remained completely unaware of any of this.
He possessed only the same limited knowledge as Aaron and the others , nothing more.
The moment he stepped through the rift, his body began to change.
His age regressed rapidly until he looked like a young teenager once more, fresh-faced and full of untapped potential.
The transformation felt strange yet invigorating, as if the new realm itself had breathed new life into his weary bones.
This was a newly formed entity, a newborn legend just beginning to stir.
Unknowingly, Dracula had stepped into the start of a fresh round of adventures.
It would soon demand everything from him again, forcing him to fight at his absolute best to protect the fragile entity and the newborn legend now at risk of being hunted and killed.
With the rift sealed shut behind him, Aaron returned to the sanctuary.
He wanted to spend a little more time with his wives, savoring their warmth and laughter before another long adventure pulled him away once more.
