Chapter 575
Chapter 575
Surrounded by ten Primordial Wardens, the pressure pressed down on Aaron heavier than he had expected.
The air itself felt thick and charged, as if the very fabric of space resisted every breath he took.
Yet he remained perfectly calm, his expression steady and untroubled, eyes sharp with quiet focus.
A shimmering rift tore open behind him with a low, resonant hum.
Flameborn stepped through, his massive draconic form radiating full Primordial rank power that made the surrounding void tremble faintly.
"Three against ten," Aaron said with a confident smile, the words carrying a spark of excitement.
"Tell me you don't love these odds."
The Primordial Wardens moved without a moment's hesitation.
Four of them charged straight at the Abyssal Dragon in a coordinated blur.
Three turned their deadly focus onto Aaron, while the remaining three locked onto Flameborn with cold precision.
"Grey," Aaron called out calmly, his voice steady amid the rising tension.
The plump child-like entity materialized instantly at his side.
Her eyes flared with bright, intense power as she constructed a brand-new sword right in front of him, the weapon forming from swirling energy in a matter of heartbeats.
"This is…?" Aaron asked, genuinely surprised by the weapon's sudden appearance, his gaze tracing its sleek lines.
"Do you like it? I constructed it specially for you," Grey replied with quiet pride, a small smile touching her lips.
The sword felt perfect in every way as it settled into his grip.
Its blade was forged from deep black steel that seemed to drink in the surrounding light, swallowing it greedily, while the grey hilt fit Aaron's palm with absolute comfort and balance.
But what truly caught him off guard was the immense power pulsing from the weapon, a deep, thrumming energy that vibrated against his skin like a living thing.
It carried the same unique energy he had felt from Triple A during their earlier fight, raw and unmistakable.
"What is this?" Aaron asked, staring at the sword with open amazement, turning it slowly in his hands.
"Void," Grey answered simply. "I analyzed that ninja you fought last time and implemented his abilities into the weapon."
"What? You can do that now?" Aaron asked, eyes widening in genuine astonishment.
"Yes."
"Cool," Aaron said with a nod, a flicker of satisfaction crossing his face. "Alright, lend me a hand."
He moved forward with steady purpose toward the first Primordial Warden, the new sword humming lightly in his grasp.
"You dare think a newborn Primordial like you can battle us?" the warden sneered, summoning a long staff that crackled with Primordial lightning.
Sparks danced along its length.
The warden attacked first, swinging the staff in a powerful arc straight at Aaron, the motion leaving a trail of crackling energy.
Aaron pushed the warden back with a burst of Primordial gale, the wind howling sharply as it slammed into the enemy.
Then he blitzed forward with his new sword in a blinding rush, closing the distance in an eyeblink.
Boom!
His strike slammed against the shield of another warden.
The shield glowed with solid Primordial Terra energy, easily holding off the blow while sending faint tremors through the isolated space.
From behind Aaron, a third warden aimed a shotgun-like weapon, its nozzle wrapped in swirling Primordial Aqua. Water bullets shot forward in a rapid burst, hissing through the air like angry serpents.
Aaron turned swiftly and used Void to slice the bullets cleanly in two, the blade humming with satisfaction as it cut through them without resistance.
"Got you!" the fourth warden declared coldly, stepping close in an instant.
He had void-stepped right beside Aaron and swung a blade wrapped in roaring Primordial Flames straight toward his neck, the fire crackling hungrily.
"Tch!" Aaron muttered, the heat brushing dangerously close.
He controlled time around himself, accelerating it in that single spot.
The sudden shift displaced him forward three seconds in time, the world blurring for a heartbeat.
The shield warden, who had been rushing in to add pressure, suddenly found himself in Aaron's original position.
The space warden's eyes widened in surprise, but he could not stop his flame-wrapped blade from crashing into the shield warden's defenses.
The impact sent the shield warden flying downward into the empty void with a heavy thud that echoed strangely in the sealed space.
No damage spread to the surroundings.
The Primordial Wardens had isolated the space the moment they arrived, creating a sealed battlefield that felt unnaturally still and contained.
"He has elusive control over time," the space warden warned the others, his voice tight with caution.
"Set up the time disruptor!" the aqua warden ordered sharply, urgency cutting through the air.
"Time disruptor?" Aaron asked, confusion flickering across his face for the first time.
He had never heard of such a thing before, the unfamiliar words stirring a faint ripple of unease.
The space warden retrieved a lantern-like object and activated it.
The device hummed to life with a low, ominous vibration, and in that instant Aaron felt his command over time vanish completely, as if an invisible hand had clamped down on his abilities.
"Crazy," Aaron muttered, spinning around just in time to block a strike from the lightning warden, the clash ringing out sharply.
Deciding it was time to raise the tempo, Aaron channeled Primordial destruction into Void.
The sword blazed with dark, destructive energy that seemed to swallow light itself.
"He also has Primordial destruction!" the shield warden roared, stepping forward to meet the attack, his voice laced with alarm.
"Implement the Primordial ban!"
Aaron swung his blade downward without hesitation, crashing it against the terra shield in one decisive move.
The impact rang out sharply as the solid shield shattered completely, fragments exploding outward in a shower of glowing debris.
But afterward, he felt the destruction element slip from his control entirely.
"This can't be good," Aaron muttered to himself, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face.
He could sense the rest of his Primordial and Transcendent abilities being disrupted and locked away — everything except space, terra, aqua, and flames.
The loss felt heavy, like invisible chains tightening around his core.
Disruptors were specially created devices capable of suppressing Primordial and Transcendent abilities.
The stronger versions could shut down nearly everything, except for the select few the user chose to exempt.
These devices were the main reason the Wardens commanded such respect.
The Transcendents' supreme held exclusive ownership of the disruptors, and only Primordial Wardens were allowed to wield them.
"Tch. You guys don't want to play fair, do you?" Aaron asked coldly, his voice cutting through the tense air.
"Well, I'll show you fair," he said calmly, resolve hardening in his eyes.
In the next moment, he created his clones — only those who could still function under the disruptor's influence. Ego, Void, Space Weaver, Astral, and Flames materialized around him in perfect sync.
"Kill them," Aaron commanded, pointing firmly at the remaining Wardens. With that, he turned to provide support to his allies, leaving the clones to handle their deadly assignment.
"Roarrr!!!" the Abyssal Dragon thundered, facing the strongest of the Primordials.
