Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1143: Next Time Buddy

Chapter 1143: Next Time Buddy

Ever since Carmen attained Tier 2 and the news had spread, many organizations stopped their foolish actions from competing with each other.

Although some of them still had players to raid dungeons for rare materials, the true elites were all sent to be in their leveling heaven ground to quickly reach level 70.

Nobody cared about Tier 1 anymore, now that more than half of the player base was Tier 1 already.

Nowadays, players seek the elusive and exclusive Tier 2 rank.

It had gotten to the point where the big guilds were offering enticing rewards and benefits for players who reached Tier 2 but remained hidden to join them.

After all, reaching level 70 was only the first requirement. To actually attain Tier 2, they still needed to pass the advancement test. And the more difficult a class was, the greater the difficulty it was to pass the advancement test.

To summarize, those with hidden or rare classes were prioritized more than regular classes.

Naturally, it was only these big guilds’ wishful thinking if they thought they could lure in the Tier 2 players.

It wasn’t that their offers were unattractive. But literally nobody was capable of reaching Tier 2 unless they had unbelievable cheats like Carmen did.

’And I just happen to be receiving such a cheat now.’ Xu Feng would have to thank the Abyssal Eye in the future.

Never had he seen such a generous enemy before!

Since the curse was active during the sea, all he needed to do was anchor by the beacon range, where the sea monster attributes get reduced and health points are halved.

By simply staying in place, these sea monsters would swarm to her, where he could easily blast them one after another with the hydro cannon.

Though it was a great pity that the scales he obtained from Arthur, the Phantasm Fish, became wasted.

The upgraded scale effect was meant to conceal his presence and become stealthy, but it now clashed with the Abyssal Eye’s curse. Granted that the curse was a bit higher level than the scale, the former took precedence.

’Should I return to the Phantasm Fish in the meantime?’ He pondered silently.

It was great to be attracting all sorts of monsters.

But once he left the beacon range, the monsters would become problematic and difficult to kill.

To summarize, if he wanted to reach the next Beacon Shrine, he needed to do something about the Global Sea Taunt.

"Burope?" While he was in deep thought, Burpee suddenly nudged its head a little toward him.

"Right, we should save the thinking for later." Xu Feng nodded his head and began to set sail.

In less than a few minutes since he entered the sea vicinity, monsters from all corners began to rush toward his ship with fervor. Their aggression wasn’t a joke as they began firing with everything they had.

Seeing them rushing in without any defensive behavior made Xu Feng wonder something unsightly.

Previously, Arthur mentioned that the sea monsters were corrupted by Abyssal Tide, essentially turning them into unintelligent and bloodthirsty foreign enemies in the sea.

Based on that clue and their current state, Xu Feng reckoned the Abyssal Eye had control over the corrupted monsters to a certain extent.

Maybe one of the controls was its ability to agitate the corrupted monsters to find a particular individual as their priority.

"It seems like I really need to return to the Phantasm Fish habitat." He murmured.

There were too many doubts and mysteries that he had yet to uncover.

BOOM!

Amidst his silent pondering, Burpe had not hesitated one bit to fire the hydro cannon.

The hydro cannons were a menace to these weakened sea monsters. In just two shots, they were effectively killed.

Simultaneously, the experience bar in Xu Feng’s status screen started to increase dramatically.

Seeing the drastic increase, Xu Feng was startled. He hurriedly took a look outside and realized why the experience gained was so much.

’Oh my lord. Abyssal Eye, you mad eye did it again!’ He screamed internally. The Abyssal Eye was truly a godsend.

Instead of simply sending the monsters to die, he actually forcefully increased their levels by a large margin. The previous monsters of the 60s were now in the 70s, with some even nearing the 80s.

How could someone be so generous to such an extent?

’I might really have to change sides and worship the Abyssal Eye from now on.’ He suppressed his emotions from trying to smile or laugh at this farming simulator.

"Curses, this global sea taunt is so terrible!" He made sure to gnash his teeth and played the role of a distressed man.

But his action was somewhat opposite as he promptly made his way to take control of the other hydro cannons.

Just Burpe alone might not be capable of shooting every monster down.

"Let’s have a competition, Burpe!"

"Burope?"

"A competition to see who has the most kills. Are you in?"

"BUROP!" A fiery expression appeared on Burpe’s face as he immediately fired a shot that eliminated 3 monsters in one.

"..."

Speechless, Xu Feng didn’t expect Burpe to be holding back and was going easy on them.

Burpe flashed a smug smile, almost as if saying that he was going to win.

"Oy, don’t be too happy just yet!" Xu Feng snickered and lifted his sleeve up.

In the blink of an eye, he began to angle the hydro cannon at the enemies.

3...2...1...

FIRED!

He took the shot, but luck didn’t seem to be on his side. One of the monsters actually got farted on and derailed its initial trajectory.

"Farting under the sea??!" Xu Feng’s eyelids twitched uncontrollably. This had to be some crazy, terrible luck for it happened to him!

Due to this unexpected event, Xu Feng’s kill count in the single shot resulted in only 2. Just one off from Burpe’s fantastic 3 kills in a single shot.

Without a doubt, the clear winner was Burpe, who promptly swam in the air toward Xu Feng and lightly patted his shoulder.

"Bur Buro Burope!" Burpe said.

Xu Feng didn’t even need a translator for what he meant.

[Next time, buddy!]
