"I didn’t expect to see you here, Iceheart." Blake from the Solaris Guild greeted two women with a smile.

Iceheart, otherwise known as Ling Qingxue in the real world, smiled lightly in response.

Standing next to her was Flame Bird, who promptly greeted Blake on behalf of Ling Qingxue.

"Your Solaris Guild is coming to Avalon City, so why wouldn’t our Phoenix Guild do the same?" Flame Bird smirked.

"Still as fiery as ever." Blake wasn’t offended by her tone and nodded. "Since I’m not that welcome, then I won’t intrude further. But I bet we’ll meet again soon."

Shortly after saying so, Blake walked away, clearly having a destination in mind. He merely greeted them because they encountered each other, and it would have been rude to not offer any greeting.

After all, their two guilds weren’t enemies, but also not quite allies.

One could say they were neutral, so a formal greeting was required to avoid any misunderstandings.

"Alright, that’s enough, Ninger." Ling Qingxue shook her head and said.

"Meh, I just can’t stand his hypocrisy." Flame Bird, aka Huo Ninger, pursed her lips and shrugged.

"What hypocrisy is there? Aren’t we also here because of the same thing?"

"How can that be the same? We have a real collaboration deal with the Vanguard Guild, whereas the Solaris Guild only collaborated with them on the large-scale dungeon raid once."

Ling Qingxue sighed and gave a light flick on her forehead.

Huo Ninger pouted and rubbed her forehead.

"Why did you do that, Sister Qingxue?" She asked in an aggrieved tone.

"Because your current action reminded me of my early days." Ling Qingxue smiled bitterly. Looking at Huo Ninger’s irrational behavior made her recall Lin Feng’s cold remarks in the past.
