While Xu Feng stopped her from unbuttoning her shirt, Tess mistakenly thought that he preferred the deed to be done privately.

"I understand." She stood up and held his hand.

"We can head to a private room to complete the deal. I just hope you can sign a contract agreeing that once the deed is done, you will help us."

"I have no interest in making love with you." Xu Feng flatly replied and clarified the misunderstanding.

"What do you mean by serving many men?" Xu Feng twitched his face and questioned. "I’ve already said I will forget about the past, so what nonsense are you spouting?"

"Aren’t you trying to humiliate me further by having other men insult me?"

"What kind of sick joke was that?"

Xu Feng was truly baffled and wondered if Tess had also watched many short dramas full of brain-dead plotlines.

Even as an example, if he really wanted Tess, he would do the deed himself.

Why in the world would he beckon for other men to taste her?

Silent, Tess was taken aback. How did he know about their shareholders secretly dumping out stocks?

After a while, Tess finally inquired, "What will you do once the company becomes a subsidiary of the Vanguard Guild?"

"A restructure is definitely necessary." Xu Feng stated. "There are too many leeches and incompetent people in the company. If it weren’t for them, the Green Life Corp wouldn’t have fallen to such a state."

"I’m also incompetent." She smiled bitterly. She had no intention of shifting the blame to someone else. It was her fault for not stopping it or salvaging the drastic situation in time.

"You aren’t wrong." He nodded in agreement. "If you were bold enough like you were today, then your company would at least survive the crisis, albeit it would no longer be of significance."

Xu Feng wasn’t trying to brag or flex his strength. But people weren’t foolish, especially those who could build their company from nothing.
