Chapter 1392: Sunrise Inner City Part 9
Clap! Clap! Clap!
A series of applause resounded throughout the training hall’s inner section as the arena stage reopened.
Almost everyone’s eyes were on Xu Feng and his marvelous display of survivability.
Without any fancy gears or external tools, Xu Feng single-handedly displayed micro action and perfect timing to not only disrupt the puppets but also succeed in taking a few down by striking their Critical Flesh Points.
Such actions were no longer considered amazing.
Instead, it was God’s work!
"Our Guild Leader really is the Healer God!"
"Healer God? Can our Guild Leader still be considered Healer God? This is clearly a fearsome Combat Healer God!"
"You guys are so wrong! This is clearly the work of a Strongest Healer blessing their presence on us mere peasants!"
Too many nicknames and aliases were being made up on the spot as they hoped to come up with one that would align with Xu Feng’s testing result.
In the meantime, Carmen also nodded her head in approval.
"As expected of the Guild Leader." She clapped her hands and complimented. "Even though I set it all to the Extreme Mode without informing you, it still posed no challenge to your skills."
Almost immediately, the original chattering atmosphere turned into a pin-drop silence.
They were all taken aback by the words that Carmen had just dropped.
Set at the extreme mode?
What did she mean by that?
Wait a second...
It was at this moment that the collective finally came to realize that Xu Feng dealt with not one puppet, not two puppets, not three puppets, but a whopping four puppets in total.
There had never been a case of four puppets appearing before.
Previously, they were overwhelmed by excitement and the maneuver that Xu Feng took to take notice of the appearance of four puppets.
"Well, does anyone have any questions?" Xu Feng re-equipped his gear and asked calmly. He was certain that many people had inquiries, so he might as well get it out of the way.
After all, these people here could potentially become part of the raid team for the Sunrise Inner City.
Sure enough, many people started raising their hands.
They were more curious about the micro movement and Critical Flesh Points.
"Guild Leader, how did you anticipate the puppets’ movement in advance?"
"How can we accurately deduce their Critical Flesh Points? It’s so hard to even see outside, much less in the dim light setting."
"Yeah, I had two puppets, and it was already suffocating enough. I got played like a ping pong ball by them."
Upon hearing this series of questions, Xu Feng was patient and explained the mechanism one by one.
Needless to say, this lecture was also being recorded and would be available for review alongside the testing session.
Although he enjoyed scamming people’s money, he wouldn’t be scamming his own guild members. Or at least not as much as he would to strangers.
"In battle combat, trust your instinct more. Such as if your intuition senses something was wrong, but there’s nothing actually happening. Trust in that intuition!" Xu Feng gave a vague answer in terms of the micro movement.
There was no set answer to this. The members themselves have to simply trust their guts and react by instinct.
As for finding the Critical Flesh Points, Xu Feng gave a few tips to them.
"Some enemies are tricky and have their Critical Flesh Points in very sneaky places, but most of the time, it’s only in these five common spots." Xu Feng summoned a puppet through the arena stage and pointed at the five spots.
"When you review the recording footage later on, try to count the number of times I hit these five spots."
As he continued to explain and offer extensive knowledge, many members felt like they had been enlightened.
It goes without saying that they all began itching to test out the theory and newfound knowledge on the spot.
’Seems like this is enough motivation for them.’ Xu Feng thought to himself when he successfully riled these members’ emotions up. In recent times, the Divine World had indeed resulted in quite bad vibes because of the Colossuses influence all across the map.
He couldn’t possibly afford to do a raid when everyone’s mood was down.
Emotion was a funny yet powerful thing that controlled a person.
Sometime later, Xu Feng allowed them to leave and told them the raid signup date, as well as further details being listed. Those who were interested could sign up.
With that being said, the crowd soon dispersed, leaving only Xu Feng and Carmen on the scene.
Carmen glanced around the surroundings before locking down the inner section. Once that was done and she confirmed they wouldn’t be disturbed, she hurriedly pounced on Xu Feng.
Her arms wrapped around his neck while she pecked him on the cheek.
"I know what you want to say. Don’t get mad at me, okay?" She acted coyly and tried to sweet-talk him to not scold her for setting the difficulty to extreme mode.
Xu Feng smiled bitterly. This Carmen really knows how to make the first move.
How was he supposed to chide her when she behaved in such a manner?
"Are you still mad?" Carmen embraced him more tightly and asked.
"I’m not mad..." He replied. The truth was that he didn’t mind this unexpected factor. It actually helped boost the recording value and let the members know how to react in unforeseen situations.
"Hah, then shall we go prepare for the upcoming raid?" Carmen giggled and attempted to flee the scene.
Alas, her waist was being held by Xu Feng.
"Not mad, but that doesn’t mean a punishment wouldn’t be imposed." He whispered like a devil. He had attempted to increase the difficulty by going almost bare with trash gears.
Yet Carmen just had to increase it even more.
Imagine if he failed to survive the testing session?
How embarrassing and dampening that would be for his prestige??!
"Ahh, Feng?" Carmen swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
"My waist still hurts from previous nights..." She tried to persuade him that her body was still aching from the activity.
"Just nice, my body is also aching from having to do so many micro movements. We should log out and come back in about an hour or so."
