Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1426: Sunrise Inner City Part 43

Chapter 1426: Sunrise Inner City Part 43

Shortly after the constructive criticism remarks, it was time to check on the loot.

The rarity was similar to the first boss, albeit with a slightly higher item count.

Once again, Xu Feng collected the Legendary fragment and placed the majority of the items for internal auction. Unlike last time, though, he didn’t take any Epic Item directly.

One time was already enough, but to do it multiple times. Now that was just asking for a beating.

"Alright, same rule as last time." Xu Feng clasped his hands and distributed the GMP. "Remember, bidding is fine, but do not ruin the harmony between us. I do not tolerate insults or threats during the bidding process."

"Yes, Guild Leader."

"The two tanks can’t even bid anymore. There’s definitely no ruining the harmony anyway."

"I dare you to say that again!" As soon as the two tanks were called out, they raised their voice slightly.

Unfortunately, it would have been better if their faces weren’t burning beet red.

After all, such facial expressions simply caused the members to laugh even more wildly.

"Pftt," Not even Carmen was able to resist and let out a giggle too.

In the end, Veronica and the others also joined in on the laughter.

As such, when the two tanks heard the laughter, they wanted to crawl into a hole to hide.

How could they possibly get mad when even the highest ranking within the guild was laughing?

"Ahem, play nice." Without a choice, Xu Feng had to clear his throat and start the internal auction immediately.

Sure enough, the laughter came to an abrupt end as they quickly focused on the items being auctioned.

Because they were busy laughing, not many paid attention to the items that were listed.

"Oh my god, this is the final set piece I need in my gears!"

"Shut it, that’s clearly my final piece!"

"Hmph, you all can forget about it. My GMP is way more than the two of you combined!"

Needless to say, the Epic Items were bid intensely, with the lesser rarity being quite mild and tame.

"Wow, you really dare to put these items on the auction list." Veronica’s eyes widened in surprise. She glanced at Xu Feng and wondered if he had more valuable items in store. Otherwise, she couldn’t possibly fathom why he would be this generous.

"Can’t you stop looking at me as if I’m some despicable person for a second?" Xu Feng twitched his brows.

Many kept questioning his antics, but the cold, hard truth was that he was self-persevering.

He wasn’t born with a golden spoon or a diamond spoon. Everything so far was built step by step, albeit with the cheat knowledge from his past timeline.

However, how many were truly able to capitalize on the cheat knowledge?

"Alright, I apologize for my words," Veronica said sincerely. She was in administrative work for so long. Hence, she understood where his personality and behavior came from.

Only when one had to overlook the whole thing from the top would one realize the immense pressure and difficulty.

Upon hearing the apology, Xu Feng let out a small chuckle. And it was precisely this small mistake that made Veronica realize he had played her again.

Alas, she couldn’t possibly pursue the matter when Xu Feng sneakily walked away while encouraging the members to stay in harmony.

"Forget it, Veronica. You can’t outwin him in this type." Carmen patted her shoulder and consoled her softly.

Even she was outdone whenever Xu Feng wished to play dirty.

"You’re right. It’s pointless to even win anyway."

Sometime later, the internal auction came to an end, with a few minority members cheering for winning the bid.

Of course, the majority held a sour expression. They weren’t mad at the minority, only at themselves for not having a lot of GMP.

Since Xu Feng rarely led a raid, they never thought about requiring GMP for the internal auction.

After all, whenever other guilds do the raid, they contribute most of the items gained in the dungeon to the guild warehouse.

Needless to say, they weren’t required to contribute everything, as most preferred to keep some of the good items among themselves.

It was simply because some items were good but weren’t suitable for them, which prompted them to contribute to the guild in exchange for items that actually suited them.

"The internal auction is done. Do you have any idea of the last boss?" Carmen approached Xu Feng and inquired. She had noticed his somewhat unusual movement and reckoned the last boss could be troublesome.

"I do, and it’s not pretty." Xu Feng pursed his lips and revealed bits of the information to her. He didn’t reveal all at once because the shock would be too much.

And sure enough, Carmen’s face turned pale when she heard the details.

Not only was the last boss not actually a singular individual, but each of these bosses would take on the disguise of their strongest player’s class as a reference.

And in the case that there weren’t any similar classes, the bosses would generate one that had similar power to the overall team’s quality.

"Can we even win?" Carmen asked in a skeptical tone.

No offense, but if the bosses could copy her, then they were absolutely doomed.

The boss would simply summon a bunch of voidlings to swarm at them. Even if they couldn’t outright kill them, they could still exhaust them to death.

As if knowing what she was thinking, Xu Feng chuckled slightly.

"Fret not, they can’t mimic hidden classes, only the base classes. But that being said, the attributes can be mimicked and amplified." He calmly explained.

Based on the first half of his remark, Carmen’s face lit up.

But in the second half, her face quickly darkened slightly. She wasn’t trying to brag, but her attributes were second to none here.

And if the boss could not only mimic it, but also amplify it, then they were definitely doomed.

She staggered a few steps and flashed a bittersweet smile. "I’m going to become a sinner."
