He flashed a solemn expression and glanced at the Royal Steward.

’Are these seriously some of the highest authorities’ behavior in the empire?’ She was wondering if she had entered some bandit hideout instead.

These three were basically discussing how to scam their rivals in times of crisis under the guise of expensive production.

’Who actually reads the contract?’ Aether clicked his tongue and glared at the Royal Steward.

Without a doubt, the Royal Steward knew he had to become the fall guy.

He stepped forward and held a straight face. "That was my intention to help bolster the Aetheria Empire."

"How could you, Royal Steward!" Xu Feng pointed his finger at him and exhaled.

To those unaware, it would have cost at least 100,000 gold coins for the promotion alone, plus more charges for construction.

But with this certification, the Aetheria Empire would foot the bill, which meant he saved a crap ton of money.
