When Carmen began to realize all the scheming and planning that Xu Feng had done, she was once again relieved to know that he wasn't her enemy.
"It's a good thing you're not from the Reaver Guild," Carmen commented.
"Had you been in their guild, then I'm afraid I might have been killed back to level 0 and possibly quit the Divine World altogether." She continued, feeling thankful that the Reaver Guild missed out on such a talent.
Meanwhile, her comment nearly made Xu Feng facepalm and flashed a bittersweet smile.
The Reaver Guild did have him as a talented Vice Guild Leader in the past timeline, but they all tossed him aside because of another powerful and strong influence.
"Well, isn't that just perfect in the end?" Xu Feng chuckled softly and pointed at Carmen. "Because the Reaver Guild is such a blind guild, they missed out on you and me. They are probably crying in their sleep tonight once the stream gets edited and published."
Nodding in agreement, Carmen said, "Who told them to be so overbearing! We forgave them once and allowed them to leave safely from Star Falls City. And instead of being grateful, they are still trying to scheme and sabotage us."
Having been badly influenced by Xu Feng, her mindset had somewhat changed already.
She wasn't as forgiving as she was previously, in which she had pleaded for Xu Feng to let go of the matter.
Now that she realized being kind and forgiving to the other party, they might not even thank you for it. In fact, they would even bite back at you with every given chance, just like the current Reaver Guild.
Then in that case, Carmen might as well be ruthless and nip it in the bud before it could become more corrupted.

Now that she was informed about DeathLingers' sabotage identity being leaked to Emberwolf, she was positive that the latter wouldn't go down alone.
If he was getting swarmed, then Emberwolf would for sure drag everyone down with him. By that logic, it would only be right for the Eternal Guild to immediately silence Emberwolf and cut off this root.
After all, Emberwolf was easier to kill than Soulstrider who belonged to a guild.
Meanwhile, OneManMedia was startled at how Carmen managed to guess exactly what happened on the scene.
"Did you secretly stay behind and watch?" He then asked suspiciously, finding her overly uncanny to Xu Feng.
Unfazed by his tone, Carmen shrugged in response and said, "I just guessed based on your reaction."

Not one to believe her at all, OneManMedia suppressed his urge to argue back. He valued his life very much unlike Emberwolf, who had the guts of a tiger to actually try to bite against the Eternal Guild.
"Yeah, Emberwolf accused the Eternal Guild, which resulted in DarkSage killing Emberwolf." OneManMedia relayed the event.
"And I supposed the others just watch." Xu Feng interrupted, finding the situation least surprising.
With Emberwolf throwing all caution aside and pinning Eternal Guild, DarkSage would be a fool if he allowed him to continue blabbering on. By swiftly killing Emberwolf, DarkSage could then declare himself innocent and that it was all slandering.
Of course, no one would believe DarkSage's words inwardly, but on the surface, they would nod and agree. There was no need to tear off the fake friendliness they had on the surface for someone like Emberwolf.
"Yes, but the viewers in the comment were exploding in a frantic moment." OneManMedia grinned and explained how their viewership soared to a new height.
"I told them that Emberwolf's claim is without any grounds or evidence, but I'm positive that the Eternal Guild's reputation has been dragged to a pile of mud." He continued, trying to push himself in a good light for his effort.
"Your stream is off now huh?" Xu Feng questioned.
"Yes, I wouldn't dare to speak with the stream on." OneManMedia hurriedly explained, afraid that he might be misunderstood.
Though he still misunderstood in the end, given that Xu Feng wasn't concerned about this matter.
"Anyway, you should start turning the stream back on before more viewers leave. They're going to have an afterparty with greetings to certain people." Xu Feng chuckled and explained.
