Chapter 569: Terrifying Accuracy Rate

"Honorary Elder, these few monsters are low HP!" Lightning Blade shouted loudly as he ran around in a circle, aggroing the monsters to chase after him.

"Good, keep them running and don't you dare kill them." Xu Feng instructed coldly.

He then turned to Allison and said softly, "Alright, just like what we practiced before, start using your Sacred Fire and launch it at those monsters."

Nodding, Allison took a deep breath, focused her concentration, and locked targets at the low HP monsters. With her hand holding the staff, she wielded it around and cast Sacred Fire. She squinted her eyes, hoping to pinpoint the monsters' movement.

Once the monsters started to change their trajectory to rotate in chasing Lightning Blade, she began launching her Sacred Fire.

The Sacred Fire made a sizzling noise as it shot forward with intensity.

It was as if the world was going to be consumed by the Sacred Fire cast by Allison, except the world seemed to be capable of avoiding the fate of being consumed.

Once again, it was an air ball as Allison whiffed her Sacred Fire for the nth time.

At this moment, Xu Feng was wondering how someone could have such a terrifying low accuracy rate.

"Got it…" Trying to remain calm and collected on the surface, Allison narrowed her eyes and stared at the bounded monsters who couldn't move at all.

As determination filled her eyes, she wielded her staff and launched Sacred Fire.

"Go, my powerful fire!" She said and watched as the Sacred Fire went flying toward the monster.

With the Sacred Fire looking more and more deadly as it approached the bounded monsters, Allison celebrated with her fist raised up high. "Hehe, success!"

Unfortunately, the celebration was too early as the Sacred Fire started to deviate and just barely missed the bounded monster by a few meters.

Even the bounded monster looked dumbfounded at the whiff. Their eyes widened in shock, clearly unable to believe they were still alive.

As for Lightning Blade, he facepalmed and nearly cursed aloud at how she could whiff so badly. But with his current situation, he kept quiet and simply turned around to not show his frustrated look.

"This is a talented individual." Clara twitched the corner of her mouth in astonishment. "To miss in such an ideal situation has to be a talent in itself."

Hearing that remark from an NPC, Allison's face turned beet red from embarrassment.

Clara and Lightning Blade's responses were all understandable, given she would have reacted in the same way.

'What does Feng think about it?' She wondered and subtly glanced at Xu Feng.

To her surprise though, Xu Feng's expression remained stoic, and there wasn't even much of a reaction.

"A-Are you disappointed?" Allison pursed her lips and asked bitterly.

"No, I just realized why you kept whiffing." Xu Feng answered coolly.

He then turned to her and said, "You overthink too much."

"Overthink?"

"Yes, overthink." Nodding Xu Feng continued, "The monsters bound by Clara would last 10 seconds or less depending on the resistance. But with Clara's level, they would be bound for 10 seconds max."

When Xu Feng said that, he saw the confused look from everyone. This was especially true for Allison.

Sighing, Xu Feng then pointed something out. "When you launch your spell, maybe it was your unconscious thinking and action, but you were launching it at a place that you believed the monster would go to during the firing trajectory."

Shortly after the explanation, Clara pondered silently and realized that was indeed the case.

"Right, all her misses were actually quite close to the target." She had recalled how the spell was almost always hitting, only to whiff in the end.

Lightning Blade, on the other hand, scratched his head in response. He was too busy running in a circle to be paying attention to such details.

As for Allison, she was the most confused one. After all, she didn't think she was trying to calculate the monster's movement before launching her spell.

"Clara and Lightning Blade, the two of you can advance ahead. I'll stay behind with Eversoul for some testing." Xu Feng suddenly declared.
