The word "shoot" was spoken with a powerful impact, indicating he could really do it.

"What’s wrong?"
"Just a moment ago, a woman was staring at you."
"Really?" Hai Yunfeng turned back; outside the cordon, there was no one. "Do you know her?"
"No!" Ji Lihua shook his head. He had just instinctively felt a woman looking at him. But since she wasn’t looking at him directly, the feeling wasn’t very clear.
"Maybe I was mistaken," Ji Lihua said.
Hai Yunfeng didn’t give it much thought, assuming Sun Gan had seen him coming, and immediately approached.
"Leader, wh-why are you here?" Sun Gan didn’t expect to be caught by him while handling a rare task.
"What have you done? How can you just shoot randomly?" Hai Yunfeng frowned in disgust at the blood on the ground and the half of a hand being picked up.
"Who gave you that privilege?"
Sun Gan signaled the others to keep busy with their tasks, then, under a locust tree, explained to Hai Yunfeng and the group with him, "Leader, let me explain. Mayor Liu’s crimes are all real; I didn’t fabricate any of it.
