Chapter 830

Chapter 830: The Clear Mirror of the National Teacher (43)

When these people were chatting and eating sunflower seeds, the battle below was coming to an end. Feng Qingqing had already killed several people, leaving only the last two.

At this point, they were clearly struggling and showing signs of retreat.

The onlookers on the hillside were afraid of being affected if they lost and began to withdraw.

If they really lost, Feng Qingqing would go crazy and they would all be buried with her.

The group of people eating sunflower seeds also felt that it was time to leave. They prepared to depart but reminded Shi Sheng before doing so since she had provided them with snacks.

Shi Sheng stood up as though she was going to leave too but instead drew out her sword and jumped down when they least expected it.

Everyone stared in shock: “…”

Little girl, we told you to leave! Not to go die!

As everyone gaped in disbelief, a gust of wind swept past their ears followed by another figure rushing down towards the battlefield.

Everyone continued staring in shock; they had never seen anyone so eager for death before.

“Should we stay or should we go?”

“Why leave? If even this little girl isn’t afraid then why should us grown men be scared?”

“We’re not leaving.”

So the group resumed munching on their sunflower seeds…

The two seniors who were about to retreat didn’t expect two figures charging towards them at that moment. Before they could see clearly what was happening, there was a loud explosion which sent waves of fear through them both, almost causing them to kneel down from its force alone!

This power…

Having lived for so many years, there wasn’t much that these old-timers hadn’t seen before. This power definitely belonged to the Heavenly Dao but it seemed different somehow – exactly how different, however, eluded them completely!

Both turned their heads simultaneously towards where Feng Qingqing had been standing just moments ago–only now there was a huge crater in her place. Feng Qingqing herself was standing some distance away from the edge of the hole, facing two people on the other side.

One of these seniors had come from Canglan Imperial City and recognized those two figures immediately: “National Teacher…!”

The other senior was surprised: “How did they get here?”

“Let’s see.”

From across the large pit, Feng Qingqing felt a bit intimidated by all the lightning flashing inside it, but upon seeing Shi Sheng, she turned that fear into hatred instead.

“Feng Zhinyin! How dare you show up before me!”

Shi Sheng greeted her with a wave: “Feng Qingqing, long time no see. Looks like you’re doing pretty well for yourself.”

Feng Qingqing grew furious: “Shut up!”

Was this what ‘doing pretty well’ looked like? Being spat on and hunted down by everyone in the continent? This wasn’t what she wanted!

Shi Sheng shrugged and turned to Yin Wei beside her: “Don’t go near that pit.”

Yin Wei also felt repulsed by it; there was something oppressive about it as if it were something incompatible with him.

He nodded slightly in agreement. He should be considered half-demon now since he had signed a contract with that demon earlier which allowed him to devour its power until their life forces became intertwined–effectively making them one being.

The energy ball exploding outwards contained Heavenly Thunder, which naturally suppressed demons.

Shi Sheng shook her sword then looked towards the two old-timers far off in the distance: “You two better not run away because we’ll need your help later.”

The two seniors stared at each other blankly wondering why they would be needed later…

They really did want to run though; Feng Qingqing wasn’t someone who could be easily dealt with given how many pills she had on hand – even if she got injured, she could recover quickly.

Just as the two seniors were feeling confused and lost…

At this moment, Shi Sheng had already avoided the big pit and rushed towards Feng Qingqing.

Shi Sheng directly attacked, seemingly in line with Feng Qingqing’s intentions.

She wanted her dead!

For Feng Qingqing, dealing with those people just now was not difficult. Even if she was injured, it was because they relied on their numbers.

But facing Shi Sheng was different.

Her speed wasn’t slower than hers, and her moves…

Were completely unpredictable.

It was totally different from what she expected.

The scariest thing was the sword in her hand. The aura emanating from it made her heart tremble. She had been injured by this sword before and seeing it again now only made it more annoying. She wanted to destroy it.

The two old men stood aside. “That sword… is that the peerless sword they fought over to death?”

“Probably.”

Back then, everyone on the continent thought they could get a divine weapon but no one could take away this divine weapon at all.

This name…was strange. It is said that when she asked for its name back then, she thought about it for a long time before saying something obviously nonsensical; they hadn’t heard of any peerless swords before either.

Everyone had been played around by Miss Phoenix Three (Feng San Xiao).

“Feng Zhiyin!” A high-pitched female voice broke through the clouds with full resentment and hatred.

Shi Sheng covered her ears. “I can hear you! Why are you shouting so loudly!”

“I’ll kill you! Kill you!” Feng Qingqing shouted crazily

Shi Sheng continued to provoke Feng Qingqing recklessly: “Come kill me if you dare!”

Would I(bbb), Shi Sheng, be scared?

Black gas quickly surged around Feng Qingqing as madness filled her eyes; she only wanted to kill Shi Sheng now.

The black gas condensed into a longsword behind Feng Qingqing, and the shape of the sword was not much different from Shi Sheng’s.

Shi Sheng frowned.

Feng Qingqing waved her sleeve, and the black longsword rushed towards Shi Sheng. She instinctively blocked it with her iron sword.

But when the black longsword touched the blade, she was suddenly thrown back.

Shi Sheng stabilized herself in mid-air. Yin Wei rushed over from the side to check if she was injured nervously.

Shi Sheng looked coldly at the black sword floating in front of Feng Qingqing again.

Copy…

It had actually copied her iron sword’s ability!

Impressive!

However, a copy would always be a copy; fake could never become real.

Her things were not so easy to replicate!

Yin Wei’s face was full of frost as he held Shi Sheng and landed on the ground before disappearing from his original position. When he reappeared, he had already arrived in front of Feng Qingqing.

The demon that Yin Wei devoured must have been quite powerful; his strength now surpassed that of Feng Qingqing’s, but dealing with her who wielded a replica of Shi Sheng’s iron sword proved somewhat tricky for him.

Shi Sheng went up against her once more. Feng Qingqing thought she came to attack herself but instead she pulled Yin Wei back quickly into safety range.

“Let me handle this; you can’t deal with her.” The power of what she possessed was something no one knew better than herself.

“Xiao Zhi.” Yin Wei frowned. “I said…”

Shi Sheng interrupted him: “Let me handle it this time; I’ll listen to you in the future.”

Yin Wei furrowed his brows. “What are your chances?”

A smirk appeared on Shi Shen’s lips as arrogance filled them: “100%.”

“I won’t let you be in danger.” Yin Wei slowly let go of her.

This sentence meant that as long as she was in the slightest bit of danger, he would not stand by and watch.

“I won’t be.”
