The first evolution he picked was the Superior Magic Core Lv 10.

Lohan felt his mana needed a more robust infrastructure to support the network of clones he maintained that used magic at such a high frequency.

Not to mention he’d put off this evolution for so long that it made no sense to leave something this important without evolving, even if the cost of this evolution was currently one of the highest.

His biomass reserves were already overflowing thanks to the hunting groups’ work, so he poured in the necessary biomass.

Lohan vibrated his membrane, partially satisfied, but also a little disappointed. He’d been hoping for something that would significantly boost his power, but considering how useful this was, even with so many detection abilities already, this would be his first ability for detecting magic.

’To be honest, this is going to make it nearly impossible for any assassin to try something against me, especially people with Elysium related magical traits in the real world.’ He thought, already more pleased with the result.

But what shocked him most was that he already had one of the traits from this evolution!

At this point, it was impossible for him not to think about how to farm as many traits as possible from each Evolution, but considering that maybe if an evolution’s level got too high it would prevent it from going through a major evolution like this one, Lohan grew wary, not wanting to bet on this "loophole" he’d found, only to discover later that he’d permanently limited his own growth.

Next, he focused on the Natural Magic Core Harmonizer Lv 7. He knew the delay between thought and spell execution was a dangerous bottleneck.

Not to mention the greater control he now felt over all his magic, it wasn’t just the spells that got this treatment that were optimized, every other one could now be cast with much more ease too!

He continued scanning through the system screen and found Sharpened Instinct Lv 8.

Lohan sighed inwardly, feeling his gelatin grow heavier and qualitatively more dangerous.

He still had Synergy Bond Lv 5 and Racial Command Lv 5, along with Pressurized Acid Detonation Lv 3.

He decided to raise them all at once, feeling the wave of energy flood his system.

But suddenly, Lohan felt a sharp pain at the center of his core when he tried to evolve Venom Production Lv 8 and Sacred Light Core Lv 4 at the same time.

The two abilities, by nature, were opposite poles in Elysium’s cosmology. While Venom Production sought corruption and toxic molecular breakdown, the Sacred Light Core emanated a purifying purity that tried to nullify any trace of toxin.

’Really? Now you two decide to fight?’ Lohan complained internally, feeling an excruciating burning rise through his biomass.

The system fired off instability warnings and his gelatin began shifting color erratically, alternating between deep blue and pale gold, with purple veins of venom appearing and immediately being "burned away" by the sacred light.

The pain was unlike anything he’d ever felt, it was as if his cells were locked in a civil war. The resilience of Lohan’s Mythic body was tested in that split second of agony.

Instead of backing off or canceling the process, Lohan trusted his Mythic Body and decided to push forward, handling it the best way he could, by injecting Biomass!

Ever since he’d gone through his Level 11 evolution, he’d known his body was built for absolute adaptability, so just like that time, he began a process of massive biomass burning.

Lohan injected hundreds of units of biomass directly into the point of conflict, forcing the two energies to fuse into a new infrastructure through sheer brute force.
