Chapter 565: Ice belle vs Ken 2

Chapter 565: Ice belle vs Ken 2

Ken disappeared.

He simply vanished from where he stood, the air collapsing inward a fraction of a second later from the speed of his movement.

The Ice Belle’s eyes sharpened instantly.

A crushing force erupted above her.

She raised her arm immediately and a thick crescent wall of ice formed overhead just as Ken’s strike descended. The impact detonated like thunder across the sky, shattering the frozen barrier into thousands of glittering fragments that exploded outward in every direction.

The force behind the blow still pushed her downward violently.

The Ice Belle’s body shot toward the rooftops below before she stabilized mid-fall, freezing the air beneath her feet to halt herself before impact.

Ken was already there again.

No pause.

No wasted motion.

He drove a kick toward her side with terrifying momentum, and the Ice Belle crossed both arms just in time.

The collision blasted her sideways through the sky.

The shockwave alone shattered the upper floors of a nearby watchtower beneath them.

Stone rained down into the streets below as civilians screamed and scattered.

Ken didn’t relent.

Now that he had accepted her as an equal threat, his entire fighting style had changed.

He stopped testing.

Stopped observing.

Everything became offense.

Pure relentless pressure.

The Ice Belle had barely recovered her balance before dozens of compressed force strikes tore through the air toward her. They weren’t elemental attacks anymore. They were concentrated bursts of celestial power dense enough to rupture the atmosphere itself.

She reacted immediately.

Layer after layer of ice formed around her, overlapping shields rotating at different speeds while freezing mist spread outward to obscure angles of attack.

The first few strikes shattered the outer defenses instantly.

The next wave broke through deeper.

The Ice Belle was forced backward continuously, defending without a single opening to counterattack.

Ken appeared directly behind her.

His palm slammed into the frozen barrier she had formed around herself and the entire construct exploded apart violently.

For the first time in the battle, the Ice Belle lost ground cleanly.

The impact sent her hurtling across the sky.

The spectators below gasped as her body smashed through the side of a massive structure near the palace district, tearing through multiple walls before bursting back out the other side in a storm of debris and ice fragments.

But Ken was still coming.

The sky boomed repeatedly as he pursued.

Every movement carried monstrous pressure now.

He struck again before she fully stabilized, forcing her to generate another defensive field instantly. His attacks hammered against it relentlessly, each collision shaking the battlefield beneath them.

The observing celestials watched in silence now, no longer daring to intervene.

Even they could tell.

Ken was serious.

Completely serious.

The Ice Belle slid backward through the air under the barrage, frost spreading wildly around her as she defended against strike after strike. Every time she attempted to create distance, Ken closed it instantly.

A massive downward blow descended toward her head.

She raised both hands and formed a dense frozen shield above herself.

Ken’s strike landed.

The shield shattered instantly.

The force traveled through the defense and slammed into her directly, sending her crashing toward the streets below like a falling comet.

The ground exploded upon impact.

Entire sections of stone road collapsed outward in a crater while freezing energy burst upward around her in chaotic waves.

Dust and frost filled the air.

The spectators nearby fled in terror.

Then Ken descended through the smoke.

A terrifying pressure crashed down over the area as he landed at the edge of the crater, his aura raging around him violently now.

Inside the crater, the Ice Belle slowly rose from the shattered ground.

For the first time since the battle began, faint blood trailed from the corner of her lips.

Ken noticed it immediately.

So did the spectators.

And so did the two celestials above.

Because until now…

No one had managed to push her this far.

Ken’s expression remained cold, but inwardly, his thoughts were moving rapidly.

She defended all of that and still remained standing…

His attacks had been enough to overwhelm veteran celestials outright.

Yet she endured them.

Not barely.

Not desperately.

She was adapting even while defending.

That realization disturbed him more than he showed.

The Ice Belle wiped the blood away slowly with the back of her hand.

Then she lifted her gaze toward him again.

Cold mist curled around her body.

The temperature across the district began dropping harder than before.

The shattered streets froze.

The crater beneath her crystallized.

Even the falling debris from ruined buildings began icing over mid-air.

Ken narrowed his eyes slightly.

Because despite forcing her into defense…

He could feel something else happening now.

Something building beneath the surface of her calm.

And for the first time since he escalated the fight…The atmosphere around the Ice Belle began to feel dangerous in a different way.

The Ice Belle stood within the frozen crater silently while the cold continued spreading outward beneath her feet.

The district around them had become unrecognizable.

Collapsed rooftops.

Shattered streets.

Entire structures frozen halfway through collapse.

Above them, dark clouds churned unnaturally from the pressure of two overwhelming forces colliding repeatedly across the city.

Ken remained at the edge of the crater, watching her carefully now.

His aura still surged heavily around him after forcing her onto the defensive, but his eyes never left her hands, her posture, the subtle shifts in energy flow around her body.

He had adapted frighteningly fast.

That was the problem.

The Ice Belle realized it clearly now.

Her freezing zones no longer restricted him the way they had earlier. The layered frost fields she used to distort movement were being read more efficiently with every exchange. Ken had begun identifying the flow patterns within her ice constructs and adjusting his trajectories before the traps fully activated.

Even his pressure attacks had changed.

Earlier, they were brute-force collisions.

Now they came angled, compressed, deliberately timed to destabilize the structural points of her defenses before impact.

He was learning her.

Rapidly.

The Ice Belle’s expression remained calm outwardly, but internally she understood something important.

If the fight continued only on ice manipulation…

Ken would eventually stabilize against it completely.

That could not happen.

A faint current stirred around her.

Subtle at first.

Different from the suffocating cold that had dominated the battlefield until now.

Ken noticed immediately.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

The Ice Belle slowly lifted her hand.

The frost swirling around her fingers suddenly dispersed outward.

A violent burst of compressed wind exploded from the crater without warning, blasting outward in a devastating shockwave that tore frozen debris into the sky and ripped apart nearby structures already weakened from the battle.

Ken crossed his arms instantly.

The impact slammed into him hard enough to force him backward through the air for the first time since he seized offensive momentum.

His eyes sharpened immediately.

Wind?

The Ice Belle rose slowly from the crater, no longer surrounded only by freezing mist.

Now violent air currents spiraled around her body in deadly layers, slicing through the frozen environment like invisible blades. Frost still lingered beneath it all, but the battlefield itself had changed.

The temperature no longer dropped uniformly.

Instead, the wind moved unpredictably through the district, carrying razor-thin currents sharp enough to carve through stone surfaces they brushed past.

The spectators below panicked instantly.

Buildings groaned as invisible cuts appeared across walls and pillars.

Even the observing celestials above shifted uneasily.

Ken stared at her closely now.

But he wasn’t surprised.

Not fully.

Because during earlier exchanges…

He had sensed it.

Beneath the overwhelming cold around her, there had always been another current buried deeper in her energy flow.

He simply hadn’t expected her control over it to be this refined.

The Ice Belle moved again.

And suddenly the battlefield changed entirely.

She vanished in a burst of spiraling wind, her speed increasing so sharply even the air detonated behind her movement path. Ken reacted immediately, but instead of ice fields and suppressive zones meeting him—

Invisible wind blades erupted from multiple directions.

Ken’s eyes widened slightly.

He blocked the first instinctively.

The impact sliced across his defensive aura hard enough to force him sideways mid-air.

The second came from below.

The third curved unnaturally behind him.

This wasn’t the methodical battlefield control of her ice element anymore.

This was aggression.

Ken shifted instantly into defense as another barrage of compressed wind arcs tore through the sky toward him. He destroyed some with direct force, evaded others narrowly, but the momentum had already shifted.

The Ice Belle appeared above him and swung her arm downward.

A massive crescent of condensed wind pressure crashed toward Ken with terrifying speed.

He raised both hands and caught it head-on.

The collision exploded violently.

The surrounding clouds split apart.

Ken was driven downward through the air before stabilizing hard, boots grinding against invisible pressure beneath him as he halted his descent.

For the first time since taking offensive control…

He was being forced back.

The Ice Belle didn’t stop.

The wind around her intensified further as she pursued relentlessly now, long streams of cutting pressure spiraling around her like living weapons. Every movement generated destructive currents sharp enough to slice through the battlefield beneath them.
