SSS-Class MILFs And Their Yandere Daughters, I Want Them All!

Chapter 397: A Mother’s Desperate Love

Chapter 397: A Mother’s Desperate Love

Silence.

Absolute silence from the other side of the line.

Then—embarrassment.

"Oh." Nadia said quietly. "I-I see. It seems like I misunderstood."

Then, shyly, timidly, in a voice so small and vulnerable that Mika almost couldn’t believe it was coming from the mighty Nadia, the Ice Cold Queen of the Battle Angels she said,

"S-Sorry, Mika. I didn’t think of that. I just...I got excited."

"I guess I’m so desperate for anything from my daughter that the thought of touching her tail again made me...happy."

"Sorry...for saying such a silly thing. Just forget I even mentioned it."

Hearing this, Mika’s heart absolutely broke.

He hadn’t expected that.

He knew Nadia struggled with her relationship with Astrid.

He knew there was distance and pain and years of unresolved conflict.

But to think she was so desperate—so utterly, achingly desperate for even a piece of fur from her own daughter’s tail?

That was heartbreaking.

That was devastating.

That was wrong.

And he couldn’t just stand by anymore and let this relationship continue as it was.

Before, it had seemed like the status quo—difficult, but manageable. Something to be dealt with eventually, sometime in the vague future.

But now?

Now he was changing things. Changing dynamics. Changing relationships.

And he knew that he wouldn’t let this last any longer.

"Nadia."

His voice shifted. Suddenly confident. Suddenly solemn.

She immediately caught the change in his tone.

"Don’t worry anymore."

"What do you—"

"The days of you and your daughter being separated, of having such a difficult relationship, are soon going to be over."

Nadia was silent.

"I don’t know how I’m going to do it yet." Mika admitted. "I don’t have a plan or anything. But one way or another, I’m going to turn this relationship around."

His voice grew firmer.

"I’m going to bring back the same Astrid she was before."

"The same Astrid who would call you ’mama’ and hug you all the time."

"The same Astrid who would ask you to comb her tail and tie it into a braid."

"The same Astrid who would laugh when you made her bed rumble and the same girl who looked up to you as her idol."

He let out a small smile before finally saying with conviction,

"I’m going to bring that Astrid back to you. I can assure you of that."

On the other end of the line, Nadia was completely caught off guard.

The sudden surge of determination in his voice—the absolute certainty—it shook her.

"I...Mika, I honestly don’t think it’s possible."

She said quietly with a tinge of reluctance like she didn’t want to admit it herself.

"With how my daughter is, she might stay the way she is for the rest of my life. After all, some things can’t be fixed."

She then stopped and said with heartfelt gratitude in her tone,

"But...I appreciate your thought. I really do."

Then curiosity crept into her voice.

"But why? Why are you so pumped up to help me like this? You usually don’t get involved in family matters like this. What changed?"

He scoffed lightly and answered saying,

"Just like I said a while ago—I’m not the same Mika I was before. I’m not going to let family problems like this persist for too long. Not anymore."

"And..."

He quickly added with a slightly irritated look on his face for not believing in him.

"...I’m not joking when I say I’m going to get you two together, Nadia."

"Even though you think it’s impossible, even though you think it won’t happen—I can assure you it will. I’ll find a way around it. One way or another."

Nadia listened.

And even though she had no real confidence—even though years of failed attempts had taught her to expect nothing—she felt something strange.

A surge of hope.

A flicker of belief.

A feeling that maybe, just maybe, a future where she and her daughter were together without all this pain was actually possible.

It was close. So close she could almost touch it.

So close that she actually let out a genuine smile on the other side.

Her subordinates, passing by her office, caught a glimpse through the glass door and froze.

’Did Lady Nadia just...smile?’

’A real smile?’

’Is the world ending?’

But Nadia didn’t notice them.

She was focused entirely on the phone, on Mika, on the hope he had planted in her heart.

"I honestly don’t think it will work out."

She said again but before Mika could protest, she quickly added,

"But still, if it does, Mika, if you really manage to do what you say. Tell me tell that..."

"...I really will be the happiest mother in the entire world."

Her voice trembled slightly, just barely, just a fraction, but it was there.

"It would be absolutely amazing if you could do as you said."

She repeated to emphasize how happy she would be, before quickly adding,

"And if you do—if you actually manage to fix this—I promise I’ll give you anything in the world. Anything at all. No matter what it is, I’ll give it to you."

Mika’s eyes glinted.

A cunning look spread across his face.

"Really?" He asked, his voice carefully neutral. "No matter what it is?"

"Of course." Nadia confirmed. "Even if you want my position—ruling over interspecies relationships between the two worlds—I’ll hand it right over."

"It’s no big deal at all in return for my baby Astrid."

Mika’s expression flickered into something awkward.

’That’s not exactly what I was thinking.’ He thought. ’But sure. Whatever works.’

"Alright." He said, a knowing smile in his voice. "When I fix your relationship once again—and I will—I’ll hold you to that promise."

He paused and said in a rather dangerous tone,

"And at that time, I hope you don’t go back on it."

Hearing this accusation, Nadia actually sounded slightly offended.

"Why would I go against it, Mika? I’m not a liar or anything like that. I’ve literally kept agreements between two parties and two nations for decades now."

"Why wouldn’t I fulfill a single promise to my own son? It’s absolutely ridiculous to even think that I would ever do something like that. "

Her voice grew firm as she said with conviction,

"Whatever you want to ask, whatever you want to request—I’ll accomplish it. You have my word."

Mika’s conniving smile widened.

This was exactly what he wanted to hear.

He opened his mouth to say something—to maybe hint at what he had in mind—when suddenly he heard a voice on the other end of the call.

A girl’s voice, urgent.

"Lady Nadia! We need to go right now! The documents are ready and we have to leave for the meeting immediately!"

Nadia’s voice, muffled, responding: "Right. I’ll be there."

Then she was back on the line.

"Sorry, Mika. It seems things are getting busy over here. I have to go right now. We won’t be able to speak anymore, which is unfortunate."

"But..." Nadia added quickly. "...tomorrow, I’ll be coming back to our world. And I actually have a need for you. I want you to meet me."

Mika blinked. "Meet you? For what?"

"You don’t need to know the details yet. Just that I need your help. Quite a lot, actually. And after seeing what you did today—the party, the peace, the way you brought everyone together—I know you’re the perfect asset for what I need."

"I’ll send you the address and time later. Come at that time tomorrow. And if you go against it and don’t show up..."

Her voice dropped—not threatening, but knowing.

"I’ll be really angry, Mika. And you really don’t want me to be angry."

Mika swallowed.

"I most definitely don’t." He nervously chuckled. "After all, if you of all people get angry, I won’t just suffer—the entire world will suffer. Earthquakes. Tsunamis. The works."

"So for the sake of the entire world, I’ll come, Nadia."

On the other end, Nadia smiled again—small, but genuine.

"Good boy."

Then, softly,

"Alright, Mika. I’ll see you tomorrow. I love you."

And before he could respond, the line went dead.

Mika stared at the phone for a moment.

Then he smiled warmly.

"I love you too, Nadia." He said softly to the empty line.

He then put the phone down and looked up at the night sky and couldn’t help but think about the course of his life right now.

Things were going very smoothly with Yelena and Fauna, and he was already thinking of how to make progress with Nadia.

And now a perfect chance had presented itself—a meeting tomorrow, a request for help, a promise of anything he wanted.

He couldn’t help but grin as everything was falling into place.

He was also in a rather satisfied mood. Happy, even.

The kind of happiness that made him want to go home to Yelena and show her some ’love’.

And maybe later, he’d go to Fauna’s place as well, spend time ’milking’ her too.

But then—

He thought about Astrid.

About her standing outside the party all night, watching him, unable to approach.

He could still feel her presence in the academy.

She hadn’t left yet.

’What was she doing? This late? Alone?’

Thinking of this, Mika stood up.

Sleep could wait.

Yelena could wait.

Fauna could wait.

Right now, there was a stubborn fox girl somewhere on this campus, probably sitting alone in the dark, tails wrapped around herself, pretending she didn’t care when she clearly did.

And Mika?

Mika was going to find her, do whatever he had to do to put a smile on her face...

...and probably even cut off some fur for Nadia’s sake.
