Chapter 403 403: Seven-Tail Fox Fur Throne

Chapter 403 403: Seven-Tail Fox Fur Throne

Mika smiled as he couldn't help but think that Astrid gave the best hugs.

Not only was he smothered by her massive, soft breasts from the front—pressing against him like the world's most comfortable cushion.

But even his back was completely covered by all seven of her tails, wrapping around him like a cocoon of pure fluff and warmth.

It felt like being encased in a cloud.

Like being back in his mother's womb, surrounded by warmth and safety and love.

'Definitely top five best hugs in the entire world.' He thought. 'Maybe even top three.'

But then he looked around at the empty corridor—the cold, impersonal hallway of the Alliance building-and awkwardly glanced down at her.

"Hey, Astrid?"

"Mmm?" She hummed contentedly against his chest.

"As much as I'm loving this hug right now—and I really am, it's amazing—I think we should probably go to some other place."

"This isn't exactly the most private area."

He gestured vaguely at the hallway.

"Someone could walk in right now. And I don't think either of us wants to explain...this to anyone."

Astrid slowly pulled back, looking up at him with a deadpan expression that was almost comical given the tear tracks still visible on her cheeks.

"First of all, Mika, no one is even here right now. I always send everyone away at night. The only reason you were able to get in is because I gave you that special card—the one that gives you just as much access as me."

"So you really don't need to worry about that."

Mika blinked. "Oh. Well, that's—"

"And secondly—"

She leaned closer.

Closer.

Closer.

Until their noses were almost touching.

"Even if this area was completely filled with students and subordinates and anyone else—even my own sisters—I would still carry on hugging you and showing you affection just like I'm doing right now."

Her voice was firm, almost fierce.

"Because there's no shame in treating your little brother like this. Little brothers deserve all the love in the world. And I'm going to give it to you whether anyone's watching or not."

Then her expression shifted into something dangerous. A smirk played at her lips.

"In fact, if my sisters were here right now, I would give you extra love. Just to rub it in their faces. Just to watch those little thieving foxes seethe with jealous rage as I wrapped you in my tails."

She chuckled darkly.

"They'd be so angry. So frustrated. They'd want to take you from me, to have you call them big sister instead. But they couldn't. Because you'd be mine."

Hearing this Mika couldn't help but raise a brow in amusement and say,

"Don't you think that it's a bit ironic to call your sisters foxes when you're the actual fox here."

He thought it was funny but Astrid looked offended as she immediately said,

"Don't call me a fox, Mika...You know how much I hate it when people call me that."

She then looked down, a hint of hurt in her eyes.

"Even if it comes from you...it hurts quite a lot."

Mika rolled his eyes, but it was a fond gesture—one born of long familiarity with her quirks.

"Fine, fine." He said gently. "I'm sorry."

He reached up and gently stroked one of her tails—the fluffy, soft, beautiful tail that had been wrapped around him moments ago.

"It's just that I thought your tail was so adorable and cute. And I couldn't help but think of how a fox's tail is so cute, and it made me want to call you that."

He smiled at her.

"Sorry for offending you, 'big sister.'"

Hearing this, Astrid's face went through a rapid transformation.

The hurt vanished.

The anger melted.

And in its place—a deep, burning blush that spread from her cheeks to her ears to the tips of those very tails he'd just complimented.

"O-Oh." She squeaked. "Well—that's—I mean—"

She cleared her throat, trying to regain composure.

"It's alright. You can call me whatever you want. I won't mind. As long as you say nice things like that to your big sister..."

She looked up at him shyly.

"...you can say whatever you want."

Then, quickly, she added,

"And since you're so nice right now, I'll even take you to my office. Just like you asked for."

Seeing her melt so easily, Mika couldn't help but smile.

She was still the same Astrid as before.

Normally, she was so stubborn. So immovable.

No matter what he said, he could never get through to her when she was in that mode.

But once you cracked through her defenses, once you slipped past all her securities and walls and guards—

—she was just an adorable little girl who wanted nothing more than to love him and have him love her back.

Easy to handle.

Easy to please.

Easy to love.

But what happened next caught him completely off guard.

Astrid finally let him go from the hug, stepping back with a bright smile.

But instead of grabbing his hand and dragging him away like she normally would—

Her tails shifted.

All seven of them.

They grew longer, thicker, converging and changing form right before his eyes.

They twisted and wound together, creating something that looked almost like—

A chair.

No, not just a chair.

A throne.

A magnificent, fluffy, impossibly soft-looking throne made entirely out of her seven tails.

It rose up behind her, complete with armrests and a high back, all covered in that familiar pristine white fur.

Astrid turned and looked at him with enthusiastic, shining eyes.

"Get on, Mika! Get on! Let's go to my office already and cuddle even more there!"

Mika stared at the tail-throne.

Then at her.

Then back at the tail-throne.

"You know I can just walk, right?" He said slowly. "It's not like I broke my leg or something. We're just going to your office."

Astrid pouted immediately.

"No, Mika, no!"

She shook her head firmly.

"My little brother is the king of the world! As a king, you deserve to sit on a throne! Your feet shouldn't even have to touch the ground! Let your big sister take you to the office!"

Mika opened his mouth to protest—

But before he could get a single word out, she was already moving toward him, grabbing him, turning him around, and gently but firmly pushing him toward the throne.

"No arguments Mika!" She said, her voice insistent. "You promised to treat me as your big sister right now! And in return, I'm going to treat you as my little brother!"

"And right now, I want you, as my little brother, to be absolutely cherished and coddled!"

Then—her expression shifted again.

The enthusiasm dimmed.

The light in her eyes flickered with uncertainty.

She looked up at him with that same sad, vulnerable gaze from before.

"Or..." She whispered. "...are you going to break your promise already? You're not going to let me treat you like a little brother?"

Her eyes started glistening again and Mika sighed.

A long, deep, utterly resigned sigh.

"Fine."

He said in reluctance before quickly adding,

"But don't you dare threaten to run away again. That's emotional manipulation and you know it."

But Astrid ignored that and her face immediately brightened as she let out a little,

"Yay!"

Mika chuckled at her giddy face and carefully climbed onto the throne of tails, making sure not to step on any of them or hurt Astrid in any way.

He settled himself into the seat, spreading out slightly to get comfortable.

And then—he was pleasantly surprised.

"This is...actually really comfortable." He admitted, shifting slightly. "It doesn't hurt at all. It's probably one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat on."

He patted the armrest.

"So fluffy. So warm. I'm honestly tempted to call you whenever I need to go somewhere, just so you can carry me around like this."

Most people would have been offended by such a request.

But Astrid?

Astrid's face lit up like the sun.

"ANYTIME, MIKA!"

She exclaimed, her voice ringing with joy.

"Just call your big sister over and she'll be there right away! She'll take you wherever you need to go! Anywhere! Anytime!"

And with that, she turned around and started walking toward her office.

Mika immediately noticed something.

The throne or rather her tails were swaying.

Left. Right. Left. Right.

Like a happy dog wagging its tail.

Or rather, like a happy fox whose tails were currently functioning as a throne, but who couldn't help but express her joy through movement.

It was adorable.

Absolutely, completely, utterly adorable.

And just like that both of them made their to Astrid's office.

Mika thought that once they got, he would finally be able to get off this ridiculous throne and be able to sit by himself like a normal person.

But he was wrong.

So, so wrong.

Before he could even attempt to dismount, Astrid moved.

She sat down on the large, plush sofa in the corner of her office—and then, with a flick of her tails, she literally threw him off the throne and directly onto her lap.

Bounce!

One moment he was sitting on a pile of fluffy tails.

The next moment he was horizontal, cradled against her thighs, with her arms immediately wrapping around his waist like she was afraid he'd escape.

Which, to be fair, he was definitely planning to do.
