Chapter 428: Do Some Tricks For Me

Chapter 428: Do Some Tricks For Me

Even though Astrid knew she was completely restrained right now, she was absolutely not willing to give in.

She glared up at Mika with fierce determination.

"The past is the past, Mika! That was me when I was a little girl! I’ve grown up now! I can easily overcome something like this!"

She strained her eyes. Bit her lips. Tried with every fiber of her being to move, to change position, to break free from whatever hold he had on her.

But no matter what she did, her body did not move.

Not an inch.

Not a centimeter.

The only thing that responded was her butt—which, to her absolute horror, began swaying from side to side.

Her tails followed suit, wagging gently with the movement.

She didn’t look like she was protesting.

She looked like an obedient little fox, happy and content, waiting for her master’s next command.

"WHY IS MY BUTT MOVING?!" She shrieked internally. "THIS IS MAKING IT WORSE!"

Her desperation grew.

She bared her sharp fangs at him, trying to look as threatening as possible.

"You—Mika! This is absurd! You can’t do this to me! You better let me go right now, or else you don’t know what I’ll do to you!"

"You don’t want to see your big sister angry!"

She snarled at him like a fox caught in a trap—all bluster and fury, with no actual power to back it up.

But Mika was completely unbothered.

He leaned down, bringing his face close to hers.

Close enough that she could see every detail of his amused expression.

"Oh my." He said in a teasing, annoyingly playful tone. "Look at this. A fox over here speaking human language."

He tilted his head.

"That’s quite wrong, isn’t it? A fox isn’t supposed to make such noises. It should be chirping, barking, making proper fox sounds. That’s what foxes do."

He smiled.

"So go ahead, Astrid. Speak like a fox for me."

Before she could even process what he was saying, he pursed his lips and blew another whistle.

Astrid opened her mouth to curse him, to scream, to protest—

And what came out was not human.

"Yip! Yip yip yip! Grrrr...yip!"

She sounded exactly like a fox.

Angry fox sounds, yes—growls and barks and little frustrated yips—but fox sounds nonetheless.

Mika didn’t know if this was because she actually had fox DNA from her tails, or if his training had simply been that thorough.

Either way, Astrid was perfectly vocalizing like a member of the canine family.

A real fox would have thought she was one of them.

Astrid’s eyes shimmered with horror.

She tried again.

"Yip! Grrr...yip yip!"

No words.

Only fox.

Her fierce expression crumbled.

Instead tears welled in her eyes.

She looked up at Mika with the most pitiful, heartbreaking expression—whimpering softly, pleading with her gaze, begging him to turn her back.

To let her speak again. To end this humiliation.

Mika’s heart softened.

He couldn’t stay stern in the face of that look.

"Alright, alright." He said gently, reaching out to pat her head. "Since you’re such a smart fox, I guess you can be allowed to speak human language again."

He blew another whistle—a different tone this time.

The moment her voice returned, Astrid’s pitiful expression intensified tenfold.

"Please let me go, Mika! Please! You can’t treat your big sister like this!"

Her voice cracked with desperation.

"This isn’t right! I’m not just some fox—I’m a proud human! I’m someone who stands at the front of the human race!"

"I’m the one who maintains the barrier between our worlds, who guards our side from theirs!"

Indignation and frustration filled her voice.

"If anyone were to see me like this—if my own subordinates saw me in this position—I wouldn’t be able to keep my position anymore! Everyone would look down on me!"

"Everything I’ve built would be lost!"

She looked up at him with desperate, pleading eyes.

"Please, Mika! Let me go!"

Mika chuckled.

"Don’t worry about that, Astrid. Seeing you in your full fox form is something only I and a few others are allowed to witness. There’s no way in hell I’m showing this sight to anyone else."

He reached out and gently pulled on her cheeks, rubbing them affectionately.

"Especially since you look so adorable right now. If anyone else saw how cute you are, they’d absolutely adore you. They’d probably try to put you in a zoo so everyone could look at you."

His voice shifted to a playful, babyish tone.

"And I can’t let my adorable little fox cub be exploited like that, can I? No, I can’t. Such a precious little foxie needs to be protected."

He patted her head.

"Right, little foxie? Isn’t that right?"

Astrid’s brain was screaming at her to glare at him.

To protest. To tell him she hated this, hated being treated like a pet, hated everything about this situation.

But her tails?

Her tails were wagging.

Left to right. Right to left. A steady, happy, uncontrollable wag.

Because despite everything—despite the humiliation, despite the loss of control, despite every logical part of her mind telling her this was wrong—

Being adored by Mika made her happy.

Being treated like his precious little fox made her feel loved in a way nothing else could.

But she quickly caught herself.

She shook with horror at her own reaction.

"NO! NO, NO, NO!"

She barked at him—actually barked, mixing human words with fox sounds.

"Don’t treat me like a fox! And I’m supposed to be the one doting on you! I’m the older sister here, not you! Just stop this and let me go!"

Mika tilted his head, studying her with an amused expression.

"Hmm. It seems my little fox has become quite disobedient after not being by my side for so long."

He clicked his tongue thoughtfully.

"I think it’s about time I refreshed her memory. Remind her of her training."

His smile widened.

"And what better method is there than letting my fox perform some of the tricks I taught her?"

And in response, Astrid immediately protested.

"I’m not your jester, Mika! I’m not going to do any tricks just for your amusement!"

Mika simply smiled.

"Oh, really? We’ll see about that."

He held out his hand.

"Give me a paw, Astrid. Give me your paw."

Astrid’s mind screamed at her to resist. She strained every muscle in her body, fought against the conditioning with everything she had.

But to her absolute horror—

Her hand moved.

Slowly at first, then with increasing certainty, it lifted from the ground and reached toward Mika’s outstretched palm.

She watched it happen as if from outside her own body, completely unable to stop it.

Her hand dropped into his.

Mika’s face lit up with genuine delight.

"Good girl! Such a good girl! You still remember how to give a paw!"

Astrid wanted to scream.

But before she could, Mika was already moving on.

"Now, sit!"

Her body immediately responded. She slouched back onto her haunches while still on all fours, settling into a perfect sitting position—like a fox waiting patiently for its next command.

"What a good sit." Mika praised.

Astrid’s eye twitched.

"Stand!"

She stood.

"Spin! Can you spin for me, Astrid? Spin like a good girl!"

"No!" She protested with her mouth. "I won’t spin! I absolutely refuse—"

But her body was already moving.

She started spinning in circles, chasing after her own tails in a rather adorable manner. Around and around she went, looking for all the world like an actual fox amused by its own fluffy appendages.

"Mika! Stop it!" She whined, still spinning. "Your big sister is getting dizzy! I’m going to fall over! I’m already seeing fourteen tails, and I have seven!"

Mika laughed.

"Stop."

She stopped, swaying slightly from the dizziness.

But he wasn’t done.

"Now, let’s see if you remember some of the other tricks I taught you. Roll over."

Before she could protest, her body was already moving.

She rolled over onto her back, paws in the air, looking utterly vulnerable and ridiculous.

"Good. Now roll over again."

She rolled.

"And again."

Another roll.

"And again."

By the fourth roll, Astrid was seeing stars.

Mika nodded, satisfied. "Now jump!"

She leaped into the air, higher than should have been possible from that position.

"Good! Now jump again!"

She jumped. And again. And again. Each time reaching impressive heights, like a fox showing off for its owner.

Mika started chuckling.

Seeing this, Astrid’s fury and embarrassment reached new heights.

"Don’t laugh! Don’t you dare laugh after making me do something like this!"

But Mika was having the time of his life.

"Stand on your hind legs."

She rose up, balancing on her feet with her hands hanging loosely in front of her like a fox begging for a treat.

"Now act dead."

She crumpled to the ground dramatically, landing on her side with her eyes closed and her tongue lolling out in the most exaggerated, hilarious death pose imaginable.

Mika burst out laughing.

Astrid looked like she was about to cry.

But Mika showed no mercy.

"Now let’s see if you can do multiple tricks at once! Jump—spin—now play dead—now spin the opposite direction—now sit!"

Astrid’s body became a blur of motion. Jump. Spin. Collapse. Reverse spin. Sit. All executed perfectly, all completely against her will.

Mika watched in absolute delight.

This was the same Astrid who was normally so stubborn, so proud, so unwilling to give in to anyone.

And here she was, following his every command like the most obedient pet.

He couldn’t help himself.

He continued giving commands, each one more elaborate than the last.

"Jump onto the sofa!"

She leaped onto it.

"Now jump onto your desk!"

She bounded across the office and landed perfectly on her desk, papers scattering everywhere.

"Now shake your butt!"

Her tails wagged furiously.

"Now walk over to me and speak in fox language!"

She trotted back to him and opened her mouth.

"Yip yip yip! Grrr...yip!"

He directed her around the entire office—jumping, spinning, rolling, playing dead, wagging, speaking—until finally, after what felt like an eternity, Astrid collapsed onto the floor, panting heavily.

Her body was sweaty, her chest heaving, her limbs completely exhausted from the non-stop activity.

Mika was also panting—from laughter before he crouched down next to her, looking at her beautiful, exhausted form.

And then, in a loving, affectionate manner, he leaned in and kissed her face.

"You’re such a wonderfully obedient fox, Astrid. Truly. I don’t know what I did to deserve such an adorable creature like you. It’s genuinely a blessing to have you by my side."

Astrid’s face flushed bright red.

He pulled back slightly, but then immediately started again, cupping her face and cooing at her.

"Who’s my adorable baby little fox? Who’s my beautiful, precious fox?"

He nuzzled against her.

"You are! Yes, you are! Such a good girl, such a perfect little fox!"

Astrid’s protests grew weaker.

"Stop...Don’t do this...This isn’t good at all..."

But even her voice was changing. The sharp edges were fading, replaced by something softer. Shyer. More embarrassed.

Because deep inside—

A part of her was melting.

A part of her was getting into the rhythm of this.

A part of her was finding it very, very hard to resist.

Almost as if she was really turning into his pet.
