SSS-Class MILFs And Their Yandere Daughters, I Want Them All!

Chapter 639: The Gaze Of The Eternal Queen

Chapter 639: The Gaze Of The Eternal Queen

Mika ignored the question completely.

Instead, he turned back to the window, and when he spoke again, his voice became softer and more contemplative.

“The scene before me…”

“It’s really is one of the most beautiful sights a person can witness.”

Charlotte blinked. “What?”

“Look at them.”

He nodded towards the News Years party outside.

“In a place like a hospital, where death is looming everywhere and every breath could be someone’s last, they’re still finding joy.”

“Little children playing tag, giggling and laughing without a care in the world. Adults giving each other hope about their conditions, about their children’s futures. Elderly people eating cake, not knowing whether they’ll survive past this day.”

He turned slightly, just enough for them to see the curve of his smile.

“Isn’t that heartwarming?” He asked. “Isn’t that the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?”

But there was something wrong with the question.

It wasn’t really a question at all—it was a command. He was telling them to agree, demanding their acceptance of his worldview.

Charlotte quickly nodded.

“Y-Yes, it really is a wholesome sight, Mika.” She said. “Auntie Fauna has done an amazing job raising everyone’s spirits despite being in a hospital.”

“But it isn’t just here, Charlotte” Mika continued smoothly, his voice echoing off the glass. “It’s everywhere.”

“You go to a small tea shop, and you see young lovers making promises about a future they haven’t built yet.”

“You go to a public park, and fathers are laughing with their sons, talking about promotions and bigger houses.”

“You go to a crowded market, and humanity finds poetry in buying bread.”

“For a long time…I looked at those scenes and thought: The world is good. Humanity is precious. There is nothing fundamentally broken here.”

Suddenly, the air temperature in the room plunged into a freezing, razor-sharp frost.

Mika’s smile vanished.

“But did you know, Charlotte…”

His voice dropped into a pitch-black register.

“…that beneath all that radiant light, every single human heart carries a rot?”

Charlotte froze. “What…?”

“Every single one.” Mika whispered, leaning his forehead slightly against the cool glass. “No matter how pure a saint appears, a vile festering darkness sits coiled inside their soul. And the only difference between a respectable citizen and a monster…”

“…is how tightly they hold the leash.”

The hospital room started vibrating.

“Most people keep the leash short. They understand that if they let the beast out, it will destroy them along with everyone else.”

“So they obey the laws. They play civil. They build houses and talk about the weather.”

His hands slowly slid down the glass, leaving faint trails on the condensation.

“And then…” Mika murmured. “There are those who snap the leash. They plunge their darkness straight into the world, utterly indifferent to the screams of the innocent.”

“They burn, they butcher, they tear, and they violate—all just to feel the intoxicating rush of their own rot.”

He turned his head just enough for Charlotte to see his sharp side-profile.

“You saw them, didn’t you, Charlotte? Every single pillar of society who entered Marcus’s domain…in the daytime, they were war heroes, scholars, noble guildmasters, and beloved teachers.”

“But the second they stepped inside a world without consequences…the leash snapped. And they became demons.”

The family stood paralyzed. The absolute, frigid logic in his voice was far more terrifying than if he had been screaming in rage.

“Your mothers and aunts…” Mika chuckled, a quiet, mocking sound. “…they built a world of order. But they can’t scan a human heart.”

“They can’t peer into the soul of every passerby to see when the rot will overflow.”

“They can’t prevent a man from deciding, on a random Tuesday, to kidnap a child, to burn a home, to rape, to slaughter, to torture someone until their mind shatters.”

The children huddled closer to their mothers, frightened by the intensity in his voice. The mothers held them tight, their own instincts screaming that something was very, very wrong.

Mika took a deep breath.

“Basically, what I’m trying to say is this: no matter how prepared you are, no matter how you organize the law, you can’t stop the darkness from blooming in someone’s heart. There’s a very high chance that even the most timid person will one day let it out and commit the most devious of crimes.”

“Today, a good man. Tomorrow, a butcher. Tell me, Charlotte…” He tapped the window. “Do you agree?”

Charlotte’s breath caught in her throat. She swallowed hard, forced to nod under the crushing weight of his gaze. “I…I agree, Mika. Darkness exists everywhere. We…we can’t truly eliminate it.”

The moment the words left her mouth, Mika let out a sharp chuckle.

“Who said that?”

Charlotte heart clenched. “What?”

The family exchanged confused glances.

“Who said that?”

Mika repeated, and there was something something manic in his voice that made every hair on their bodies stand on end.

“Who said that we can’t do anything about it?”

He turned back to the window.

“It’s true that no invention exists that can scan a person’s heart and predict whether they’ll let their darkness out in the future.”

“And I don’t believe such a thing will ever exist—imagine how tedious it would be, scanning every single person every single day, never knowing how they might change from one moment to the next.”

He shook his head.

“But there is another way.”

His body straightened, his posture becoming rigid.

“One way we can make sure the darkness always stays inside their hearts. One way to ensure it never dares to come out at all.”

Dread filled the room like poison.

They could feel it now—the shape of what he was suggesting. Something dark. Something terrible. Something that would change everything.

Fauna’s voice was barely a whisper when she finally spoke.

“What…What do you mean, Mika? How could you possibly contain the darkness in everyone’s heart?”

For a long moment, Mika didn’t respond. He simply stood there, staring out at the families below.

Then, slowly, he turned around.

And the moment they saw his face, every single person in the room froze.

His skin was impossibly pale, white as a ghost, as though all the blood had been drained from his body.

His lips were curled into a smile that held no warmth, no kindness, no trace of the boy they knew.

But it was his eyes that truly terrified them.

They were no longer dark and beautiful, obsidian pools that reflected the world back with clarity and warmth.

They were bright purple.

The children found them frightening—something primal in their minds recognizing danger.

But the mothers experienced something far worse: a visceral, bone-deep terror that made their bodies tremble uncontrollably, as if they were in the presence of a predator.

They had seen these eyes before.

The exact eyes. The exact shade of purple. The exact aura of overwhelming power and malevolence.

The Eternal Queen.

The same Eternal Queen who had terrorized their world for years and slaughtered countless innocent people.

Mika had those eyes now. He radiated that same sense of being in the presence of something utterly beyond human comprehension.

“Mmmm!”

“Nnnnn!”

“Ahhh!”

Instinctively, the mothers’ knees buckled.

Their bodies moved to kneel, to submit, to grovel before this thing that looked like their son but felt like their greatest nightmare.

But Mika didn’t seem to notice. That manic look in his eyes only intensified.

“You want to know how to suppress the darkness, Charlotte!?”

He asked, his voice rising with barely contained excitement.

“You want to know how to make sure no one ever dares to show their darkness again?!”

He stepped toward her.

Yelena immediately summoned a shield of mana around Charlotte, her instincts screaming that she needed to protect her daughter.

Mika’s body was like a nuclear reactor surging uncontrollably, pulsing with energy that leaked out in waves. If any of it touched Charlotte, she would suffer immensely.

But Mika didn’t stop. He stood right in front of Charlotte, looking down at her with those terrible purple eyes.

“You have to send them a message.”

The room went silent.

“A…message?” Charlotte’s voice was barely a whisper.

“Yes, Charlotte.” Mika’s smile widened, showing teeth. “A message so terrifying! So brutal! So absolutely gut-wrenching that no one—and I mean absolutely no one—would ever dare to let their darkness out again!”

He leaned down, bringing his face closer to hers.

“The moment they even think of committing an evil deed, they should remember what will happen if they do. They should remember the horrifying punishment that awaits anyone who dares to spread their darkness into this world.”

The family’s blood ran cold.

He was talking about ruling through fear.

Not governance, not order, not creating a better world where people would choose to be good because they wanted to be.

No—he was talking about a dictatorship. A regime where no one would dare to make a single move against him for fear of what he might do.

And they were horrified to hear this coming from Mika—sweet, kind, gentle Mika, who had always been so full of love and compassion.

This wasn’t the boy they knew. This was something else entirely.

But what was even more terrifying was the question that followed: what exactly would he do to strike that fear into everyone’s hearts?

If he really wanted to terrify the world into submission, he would have to do something unspeakable.

Something that would echo through history.
