Chapter 2791: Rowdy Evening
Chapter 2791: Rowdy Evening
Azusa hummed softly as she opened her lips, allowing my tongue to invade. Then she turned fully, her arms wrapping around my neck as she entangled her tongue with mine.
When we broke apart, both of us were breathing a little harder.
“You... absolute menace. Happy now?”
“Mhm. Very.” I pressed one last quick kiss to the corner of her mouth just to watch her eyes flutter. “Come on, senpai. Let’s not keep everyone waiting.”
It took around ten minutes before we eventually exited the mini-gym. Azusa couldn’t help but cover her face due to how swollen her lips had become from our prolonged kiss.
She kept muttering something about me being too greedy and yet she was the one who never stopped seeking my lips.
As much as I wanted to tease her more, we still had to show ourselves at the dinner table.
As we stepped into the living room, Azusa immediately ducked away and went to where Minoru was, pretending to play with the boy again. She’s probably going to do that until the color of her face and her swollen lips return to normal.
Meanwhile, I continued to the kitchen where Miwa-nee and the others set aside the drinks and filled the table with food. They even brought out the extended table because we all wouldn’t fit in one.
Sena and Marika had yet to return from the bathroom, while Hanabi was helping out Akane and Nao, carrying the dishes to the table.
With Miwa-nee, Shio, Orimura-sensei and Kagura-san already tipsy from the drink, the scene was actually a little rowdy.
Aunt Akemi had already left. Most likely, Uncle picked her up.
Then, there’s Ichihara-san, Ryouko-san and Ayu talking among themselves in one corner of the table. They’re only taking sips on their drinks, which explains why they’re not as rowdy as the others.
Ryouko-san and Ayu kept talking about training sets while Ichihara-san just listened silently on the side, commenting a bit on how she could also train her body efficiently.
When they saw me arriving, Ryouko-san’s eyes lit up but before she could call me to her side, Shio and Orimura-sensei had already flanked my sides, dragging me to the table with my chair sandwiched between theirs.
“Ruru... pay attention to me too,” Shio whispered as her breath brought the sweet and slightly prickly scent of the wine they were drinking.
On the other side, Orimura-sensei acted like she was doing this to keep me in check when, in fact, she was just taking her chances.
Even if she’s already a little tipsy, low chance that she’d be honest about her feelings.
“Shameless brat, you have some explaining to do. So the other teacher is Kinoshita-sensei, huh? Are you the reason for her divorce?”
She whispered that in a voice that probably didn’t want to draw attention. But her curiosity was quite clear.
How should I answer that? I mean, I was partly the fault but ultimately, it was that bastard’s past and present actions that became his downfall.
I looked at her and nodded imperceptibly. Meanwhile, Shio grabbed my chin, and turned my face to her.
“Ruru, there you go paying attention to another woman again.” With an adorable pout that most students would never imagine on their strict, elegant English teacher. “You’re always looking at someone else. Pay attention to me too.”
“I’m paying attention to you. But Shio, you’re already a little tipsy. Drink water first. We still have dinner.”
“Hmph. I’m not tipsy, idiot Ruru. I’m acting like this because...”
“You missed me, right? I missed you too. So, go on. I’ll pamper you later.”
“Why not now?”
“Because if I do it, everyone will ask for the same treatment. We have guests.”
I subtly gestured to Ichihara-san, who was on the opposite side of the table, politely sipping her water while pretending not to notice the chaos unfolding around her.
Shio followed my gaze and her pout deepened. But in the end, she let out a resigned sigh, “You owe me extra attention later, Ruru. No escaping.”
Orimura-sensei snorted on my other side as she tightened her hold on my arm, pressing it between her breasts. I guess that’s her way of showing her jealousy, huh?
Well, I naturally wouldn’t let them go home without pampering them, right? I was the one who invited them. At the very least, I should be a good host.
Soon enough, Sena, Marika and Koharu-chan also returned from the bathroom. The younger girl was already in a fresh set of clothes, her hair was still slightly damp.
Koharu quickly ran to her mother while the other two took their seats.
Marika looked like she wanted to pull me from Shio and Orimura-sensei’s grasp but decided against it in the end.
Once everyone was seated, Akane and the others also took their seats and our dinner began.
Surprisingly enough, it didn’t go the way I expected. The rowdiness seemed to disappear as everyone enjoyed their meals, praising the girls who made them.
I also joined in those praises and even changed seats after a while, joining Akane and Nao.
Kagura-san remained vigilant but when she saw that there wasn’t even a hint of conflict between the women who were vying for my attention, she stared at me as though wondering what it was that allowed these women to coexist peacefully.
Naturally, she couldn’t find an answer, causing a frown to form on her face.
Noticing that, Miwa-nee raised her glass to toast with her again, diverting the woman’s attention back to the wine and the easy chatter flowing around the table.
Kagura-san hesitated for a second but then clinked it against Miwa-nee’s with a reluctant little nod.
Yep, she had already been figured out by Miwa-nee. Or maybe she just didn’t want to appear rude as a guest.
The sharp edge in her eyes softened slightly as the conversation shifted to lighter topics. Miwa-nee’s café plans, Shio’s latest classroom horror stories, Orimura-sensei’s complaints about ‘shameless students who never workout causing their physical fitness to deteriorate’.
Ichihara-san joined in smoothly, her refined laugh blending perfectly with the group while Koharu-chan bounced between bites, chattering about her punches and how she was definitely going to ‘knock Jun-nii next week’.
Every so often, I’d catch Kagura-san’s gaze returning to me, assessing and calculating. But the more wine she sipped, the less sharp her stares became.
By the time dessert came out, Nao’s lemon cheesecake and apple pie, the alcohol had already set in her system. Her shoulders eased enough that she was actually laughing at one of Shio’s exaggerated impressions.
As for me, I ended up changing seats a few times until I eventually sat between Marika and Sena.
Meanwhile, Hanabi was being goofy again as she kept trying to feed me pieces of cheesecake with exaggerated airplane noises until Azusa threatened to throw a roll at her head.
Akane just watched it all with that soft, glowing smile, like this chaotic, crowded table was exactly what she’d always wanted. She then winked at me before smiling meaningfully.
By the time plates were empty and glasses refilled one last time, the night had settled into this warm, easy rhythm.
Laughter echoing off the walls, stories overlapping, everyone relaxed in a way that felt... right.
At this point, I already extracted myself from the table and just hovered behind them.
Watching them like this was satisfying in itself. But well, the girls would not let me off quite easily.
It didn’t take long before Hanabi stood up, dragging me to the hallway. She clung to me like an exhausted cat wanting to be petted.
I did pamper her like that until she moved to the living room with a satisfied expression.
And that’s just the start. The girls started seeking me one by one like they had agreed to this without exchanging words with each other.
When it became Shio’s turn, she dragged me further in where the noises from the kitchen wouldn’t reach us. In fact, she’d probably bring me upstairs if there wasn’t that unspoken agreement between them.
I tasted the wine in her tongue when we kissed and in the end, she had me pamper her enough that she almost didn’t want to let go of me for the night.
The last one to seek me out was none other than Ryouko-san.
She came after Orimura-sensei, who, as always, went in for a more intimate pampering than anyone else.
“Ryouko-san...” I reached for her hand, pulling her to me, “How was the dinner?”
“Un. It was sumptuous. Everyone is so lively. Miwa is also a great drinking buddy. I’d love to visit more. But more importantly...” She pressed herself on me, her arms wrapping around my head, “I’d get to see you more often, Ruki-kun.”
“Mhm. Sounds like a plan. I’m looking forward to that, Ryouko-san.” I caressed her cheek and pecked at her lips before steadying her feet.
Without wasting a second, our lips met and shared an eager and affectionate kiss filled with a hint of longing.
When our lips separated, Ryouko-san looked up at me and whispered, “Sanae has been taking up most of your time recently. I believe it’s about time I go on the offensive with you, Ruki-kun.”
Go on the offensive, huh? I like the sound of that. But knowing Ryouko-san, she’s probably planning to bring me home.
It’s been a while since I’ve been there. This time, our relationship was already defined. It’d be a different experience than last time.
