Chapter 2795: What I missed
Chapter 2795: What I missed
An hour later, after tucking in Ayu, Ryouko-san and Orimura-sensei in my previous room, I sat down on the living room sofa, basking in the quiet stillness of the night. It’s like it has never been rowdy at all.
Anyway, Akane and the others had already settled in our bedroom, now with the addition of two, Sena and Shio.
I mean, while there’s still another room they could use, Sena insisted on squeezing in our bed. As for Shio, when I was carrying her, she pleaded for me to bring her to our room, probably thinking we were at the apartment she rented while we pretended to be a married couple in front of the landlord. The bedroom was designated as our bedroom.
How can I refuse her? And so, I asked Akane and the others to make more room. It’ll be a struggle to squeeze in there later. But well... there’s nothing impossible for my girls.
Miwa-nee was in their room with the boy. I actually stayed there for half an hour because Miwa-nee didn’t want to let me go, so I cuddled her to sleep and... quietly made love with her, making sure not to wake up the boy.
Anyway, Akane already prepared the miraculous tea for me. She poured me a cup and then brought the pot upstairs for the others.
I checked the container for it and we’d already used half of the tea leaves. Maybe in another or so, we’d run out of it. With its origins only known to Rumi’s father who was still traveling somewhere overseas, I had to find something to replace it, even if the efficacy wasn’t as miraculous.
In any case, its benefits had already settled enough. My stamina more than doubled and despite the day’s exhaustion, I’d always wake up in the morning fully refreshed.
"Alright, let’s see what I missed," I muttered to myself as I put down the cup on the coffee table and picked up my phone.
I swiped down, pulling the notification panel open. The screen lit up with a cascade of missed messages, group chats blowing up, and a few private ones that always put a smile on my face.
First, the [Swimsuit Approval Committee] chat had become an absolute chaos.
Sakuragi had sent three more photos. Two mirror selfies from different angles. One with her turning to show the back view, like she was daring me to rate it higher. The red strings tied in neat little bows at her hips, the way the fabric dipped low in the back... yeah. Dangerous. I could tell she took it into her room instead of the changing room from the mall store earlier.
Hayakawa-san had finally caved and sent one. It’s a modest navy one-piece with a sarong tied around her waist. Her glasses were still on, adding to her charm. However, she looked so shy and proud at the same time while making a peace sign as she took the photo in front of her mirror. The background was probably also her room.
Then, Watanabe, despite everything that she said, also sent one. She was in a simple black bikini, which was surprisingly bold for her. She added a caption that read: ‘Don’t you dare give me less than an 8, Onoda-kun.’
Well, I guess it’s a nine if not for her covering her stomach like she’s too shy to show it to me. Still, I was a little surprised at her size. It’s not actually a B cup but at least a C or close to a D cup. She hid that quite well. Or perhaps, squeezed it tightly so it wouldn’t be noticeable whenever she’s in her uniform.
No wonder Masato-senpai was all over her. But given their relationship, they probably hadn’t anything beyond handholding or kissing yet.
Anyway, enough about Watanabe. I’d give her a score later.
Kaede’s photo came in a private message, just like she’d hinted.
When I opened, I was treated to such a nice view.
A soft lavender two-piece, high-waisted bottoms and a thin, almost transparent halter top that framed her athletic build perfectly. The photo was taken in her room. The natural light caught the faint flush on her cheeks with a caption, ‘Only for you. Be honest.’
Instead of typing in that group chat – it was already chaotic enough since they flooded it with messages calling out to me – I typed quick replies to each of them in a private message.
Honest but teasing, rating them high because they all looked incredible in their own ways. Part of my considerate trait was probably acting up again, not letting me be harsh with my words to them. But then again, I wasn’t lying in my assessment.
I told Sakuragi the back view bumped her to a solid 10, to which she instantly replied with... ‘Only the back?’
She’s too dangerous. I guess she likes the attention from me, huh? But if I truly made a move on her, she’d probably deflate like most of my girls. I’d save her from that for now.
Meanwhile, I told Hayakawa-san the sarong was elegant as hell. She didn’t reply right away. Most likely, she’s already asleep or she’s busy with something. It’s already late at night, after all.
As for Watanabe, I teased her first by saying ‘Thank you for the meal’, to which she replied with ‘Don’t you dare save it to your phone, shameless Onoda-kun!’.
Why would I need to? It’s already saved in that group chat anyway. I could look at it anytime.
Ignoring that, I told her my assessment. The black suited her personality, bringing out something I never expected from her before. Her charms.
And for Kaede... I thought for a moment before carefully crafting my reply.
“You look stunning, Kaede. The color brings out your eyes. 10/10. Can’t wait to see it in person someday.”
If my girls saw that, that would earn me a pinch on my sides or a bite on my shoulder. It was a jealousy-worthy comment.
Kaede’s reply came a minute later but she had been typing for quite a while.
She started with three blushing emojis and a ‘Thank you, Ruki-kun... I’ll wear it when we go to the pool someday.’
I smiled at the screen, thumb hovering as I deliberated whether to save her photo or not. Of course, I pressed the back button, resisting that desire.
Anyway, the pool, huh? I also had a promise to go to one with Sachi. It’d be during the summer vacation but at this rate, I’d probably spend that whole month going from place to place.
I’m not going to complain though. After all, it’s the opportunity to create more memories with my women.
After that, I chatted with my girls one by one. When I got to Satsuki, she told me to prepare myself tomorrow. I guess she already heard about my visit to her sister’s dorm earlier.
Nami also messaged me about hanging out with Kazuha-nee tomorrow. They’ll be going to the mall tomorrow. Saki, Hina and even Mei-chan would be coming too.
As for who planned it, it’s Kazuha-nee who also sent something close to a reminder, saying why I wasn’t inviting her to the Cultural Festival next week.
Well, I thought she was already coming since there’s Ogawa. I guess she just wanted me to invite her properly. Even though she’s still going to hide about us from her brother, she’s the type of woman who would not settle for less.
Next, I checked the group chat separate from the Ruki Hub.
A flood of photos had been posted from earlier.
There was Hanabi making faces at the camera, Azusa pretending to ignore her but sneaking bunny ears behind Minoru’s head, Nao’s cheesecake sliced perfectly on the table. Then a few from tonight: Miwa-nee laughing with Shio, Orimura-sensei smirking smugly with her glass raised, even Kagura-san was caught with a reluctant smile with the wine glass close to her lips.
Then, perhaps noticing that I was viewing the group, Akane sent a message there.
“Husband, hurry back to bed. We saved you the middle spot. Don’t keep us waiting too long.”
I chuckled softly, warmth spreading through my chest. Yeah. Home.
There were a few from the girls not here tonight too.
Yua asked if I would like to see the magazine sample she received today. Elizabeth sent a selfie in some ridiculous crown filter with the caption ‘Your queen demands attention’ with Yukari’s reflection showing in the mirror. There’s also Mizuki’s simple ‘Hon, Kyoka’s contract is ready.’.
Then, there’s Tsubame’s message that was sent just a few minutes ago:
“Made it to Aunt’s place safe. Dad’s... calmer tonight. Thank you again, Ruki. I’m going to update you tomorrow. Good night.”
I typed back quickly. “Glad you’re safe. Sleep well. I’ll be waiting for your update.”
And once I finished with all of that, I focused on one name.
Ria.
That girl must’ve been waiting too because as soon as I tapped the call button, she picked it up, connecting us into a video call.
“Dumb-senpai, aren’t you an hour early?” She opened up with a sweet grin on her lips.
