Chapter 2 – Invitation Day
Back in the Aquamarine Kingdom, I decided to invite Ines’ family and friends aboard the Chris. Ines went to tell them that she was going to invite them, but Bella-san and the others seemed to be looking forward to the trip, so I’ll just say it turned out all right. Ines deserved it, though.
While we were preparing to invite Ines and her family, I summoned the Chris to the open sea, decided on room assignments, and so on, and the appointed day arrived in no time.
I’ve discussed this with Ines, and we’ve sort of decided how we’re going to show them around, but I have some concerns.
According to Ines, Bella-san and Flora-san are very excited. Well, she said that if anything happens to Bella-san and Flora-san, we can just put them in a beauty facility, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
As for Ines’ father, he seems to be satisfied with alcohol and food, and since Dario-kun is a good boy, he can be left alone. That’s too low a position for a man.
Well, they are Ines’ family and friends, and if something goes wrong, it won’t be a big problem. Just relax, and let’s have some fun, too.
“Um… Good morning. Sorry to keep you waiting.”
I went to the front of the Lutto, the meeting place, a little early so as not to be late for the appointed time of 8:00 a.m. Bella-san and the others were already waiting for me with smiles on their faces. It’s only about 7:30, right?
I looked at Ines to see if she had made a mistake about the time, and she looked at her own family and friends with a disappointed look. Apparently, there was no mistake on our part.
“Ufufu. I came early because I was looking forward to this. I’m sorry, Wataru-san.”
This is the behavior of a child before a trip! I was a little nervous because she was so cute, but she is Ines’ mother and a married woman, right? The other world is amazing.
“Geez!”
While I was shaking with fear and trembling at the threat of another world, Ines began to confront her family and friends.
She complains about how embarrassing it is and how they should behave like adults, but it all applies to her as well, and me and Alessia-san, listening to her, can’t help but grin at each other. Families are so similar, aren’t they?
Ines’ father and Dario-kun bow to me apologetically, but I have no problem with that because I enjoy it.
“Hey, Master. Stop smiling, we’re leaving.”
Ines notices that I am looking at her kindly and urges us to leave with a blush on her face. Bella-san warns Ines that her words are not the right attitude towards her own master, so things are in a state of confusion.
There will be a lot of things happening, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun four days.

“Ufufu. This is what my master can do! Do you understand? It’s only natural that I don’t want to be freed from my slavery. I won’t accept any more lectures from you. And don’t look at me with those pitiful eyes!”
Ines says what she wants here and there to Bella-san and the others, who look at the Chris speechlessly from the deck of the Lutto.
When she signed the slave contract with me, I hadn’t even bought a ferry, let alone a luxury liner, but how could she be so bossy? I’m a little envious of Ines’ character.
“Wataru-san. That ship… a ship? Are we going to board it?”
Bella-san speaks to me, completely ignoring Ines. I wonder why she put a question mark when talking about the ship, but maybe it’s too big for her to understand that it’s a ship.
I think I’ve heard that there was such confusion when the black ships came to Japan during the Edo period.
“Yes. Didn’t you hear from Ines that it was a big ship?”
“No, I heard, but it was bigger than I imagined…”
Bella-san looked up at the ship again with a stunned expression. Ines, Felicia, Alessia-san, and the others had gotten used to the size of the ship and were no longer surprised at all, so I was glad to see Bella-san and the others have that reaction.
“So, it’s time for us to get on board.”
After thoroughly enjoying Bella-san’s stunned reactions, I moved the Lutto and climbed aboard the Chris from the ramp.
In order for them to be surprised by the Chris, I disguised the Lutto’s interior to match the ship of this world so that they would be surprised again.
“It’s wide…”
As we stepped off the ramp onto the deck, Bella-san and the others let out a surprised cry, just as planned.
“What is this child? So cute!”
Flora-san, who should have been swallowed by the surprise of the Chris, noticed Saporabi waiting at the side and called out.
Apparently enchanted by Saporabi’s cuteness, her eyes were glued to Saporabi, and her hands were twitching. I wonder how she would react if I told her that this Saporabi was made from the soul of a Horned Rabbit? Well, I can’t tell, can I?
“Ara, is it a rabbit? It’s really cute.”
Bella-san, who was responding to Flora-san’s voice, was also looking at Saporabi intently. Saporabi seems to be popular with the wives and daughters of the nobles who come to visit the castle, and her figure, which looks like a giant stuffed animal that moves, must strike a chord with the ladies.
I really wanted them to be more surprised by what was going on inside the ship, but I’ll leave that for later.
“This child is called Saporabi, and she is a member of the crew of this ship. Her job is to support you, so if you have any problems, please talk to her. They can help you with most of your problems.”
“C-can I touch it?”
I thought I had explained something quite surprising, but Flora-san’s reaction was different from what I had expected. Wasn’t the part about being a crew member supposed to be a surprise?
“Yes, as long as you don’t get rough with them.”
“Even if I hug them or something?”
I don’t think it was a question to ask with such trepidation.
“Yes, it’s okay.”
Flora-san shouted at my words and hugged Saporabi. A young lady her age is exposing her lovelorn face, and I wonder if that’s okay? No, this is sexy in its own way, so maybe it’s possible. At least I like it.
“Fufu. Flora. Isn’t it amazing? I have my own Saporabi. I’m always surrounded by them and live like a princess.”
Ines was brazenly lying and making a big show against Flora-san.
It is true that Ines has her own Saporabi, but most of the time, they carry drinks and snacks, and she lives more like an old man than a princess.
I had thought that Ines was not so concerned about looking pretty, but with family and old friends, it seemed to be different.
She looks down at Flora-san with a big smile on her face, who is hugging Saporabi and looking frustrated. I’m very worried that she might lose her friend.
“Wataru-san. Please let me live on this ship too!”
…Why would you do that? No, it’s a ship I’m very proud of, and if she told me after I showed her around, I could understand, but I didn’t expect such a reaction from just a Saporabi. Besides, I’m sure Rimu is much cuter. And Creator God-sama said it would be okay, but I’m still afraid Saporabi will stab me with their horns one day.
“No, that would be difficult.
If Flora-san lives on the Chris, I can’t do it because I won’t be able to repatriate, and it would be a lot of trouble.
“No way.”
Even if you look so sad, it’s impossible to do something that’s impossible.
“Besides, I’m not going to stay in this country forever, so if you live on the Chris, you’ll lose your job, right?”
“You don’t have a job on this ship?”
I wasn’t expecting that kind of answer. When I pulled Camille-san out of the Merchant’s Guild, things were much more difficult, but is being a receptionist in the Adventurer’s Guild such an unattractive job?
Hmm… but if it’s a job at the Castle, I’d say yes. Camille-san also said that they were short of staff, so she would be happy with Flora-san, who would be an immediate help.
Ines would also be happy if she could see her friends more often, even though she was mounting it.
But, well, right now, she’s just blinded by Saporabi, and it will be a decision to leave her hometown, so I guess it’s not that easy.
“Flora-san. There is no job for Flora-san on this ship.”
She looks extremely shocked. Did she really like Saporabi so much after only touching it for a few minutes?
“But it is not impossible for me to get you a job where you can work with Saporabi. However, that would mean leaving the Aquamarine Kingdom. After you have enjoyed this ship, please ask Ines to tell you more about it. If, after careful consideration, you still want to work there, I will introduce you.”
“Thank you very much. I will hear more from Ines.”
Flora-san’s expression changed from one of shock to one of hope as she turned to Ines. I told her that after enjoying the ship to the fullest, but I guess she didn’t listen. But it’s a little funny because Ines, who had a look of superiority on her face before, now has a worried look on her face.
Well, it’s an unscheduled scouting mission, but I think it has a 50-50 chance of success. Ines will take care of the rest. She shouldn’t decide to make her best friend unhappy.
As for me, I’m all for having more beautiful women around me, so I’d be happy if she decided to work on the Castle.
“Master. Dario-san and the others are in trouble.”
When I was a little satisfied with my scouting activities, Felicia spoke to me.
I see that Flora-san, who is talking to Ines, is very motivated, and Bella-san is happy to hug Saporabi away from Flora-san, but Ines’ father and Dario-kun seem a little out of sorts. I guess I’m not a very good host.
“Well then, it’s time for me to show you the ship.”
Compared to the Castle, there is not much to see in terms of entertainment, but it is still a luxury liner that I am very proud of. I’ll make sure my stock in Ines goes up by giving her family and friends a lot of satisfaction.
