Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1086: Fate Arrives

Chapter 1086: Fate Arrives

Vermillion Bride watched in horror as three men entered the room.

'How could they be here?! This is an inheritance! Other people shouldn't be allowed to enter!'

"Zoo Chieftain, this golem is problematic!" Vermillion Bride transmitted. "We can deal with our differences when it's dead!"

The leader of the group just snorted as his two friends charged at Vermillion Bride.

"The golem is no longer your problem," he transmitted as he charged at it.

"Cowards!" Vermillion Bride transmitted as she tried to avoid the attacks of the two other men. "You're only hurting your own confidence! This will weaken your Momentum!"

"Our Momentum can wait," one of the attackers transmitted. "This is a Realm of resources, not Momentum!"

Vermillion Bride barely evaded a fiery bolt of lightning as Zoo Chieftain avoided the Golem's hammer with ease.

"Hahaha, how did this Golem give you so much trouble?" he transmitted. "It's so slow!"

Vermillion Bride just gritted her teeth.

Zoo Chieftain readied his axe. "Watch me kill it in one strike!"

The axe shot forward as the Golem launched another attack.

The axe and the hammer collided.

BANG!

Zoo Chieftain's eyes widened as his axe broke into pieces.

Wha-

BOOOOM!

The entire inheritance shook as the hammer obliterated Zoo Chieftain.

The other two stopped attacking and looked at the Golem in horror.

Their leader was dead!

Without pause, the Golem charged to the next member. Vermillion Bride saw her chance and attacked the other member.

A brutal and chaotic battle occurred, and after some seconds, Vermillion Bride managed to kill her opponent. If they hadn't chased her with a numbers advantage, she wouldn't have been afraid to fight them. After all, she definitely wasn't weak.

When the last member realized his problematic situation, he contacted Vermillion Bride. "If you kill me, none of us are getting out! I propose an oath exchange," he transmitted to her.

Vermillion Bride snorted, but she accepted. Zoo Chieftain had only died because he had tried to confront the Golem with his physical power. As long as they didn't confront it head-on, they wouldn't be in any danger.

The two exchanged oaths and attacked the Golem together. Vermillion Bride kept the Golem busy, while the last member, Gorilla Slicer, readied his most powerful attack.

BANG!

Parts of the Golem's body were broken, but it could still fight.

Gorilla Slicer recovered his Energy, and after five more attacks, they managed to destroy the Golem.

As soon as the Golem was destroyed, the two of them looked warily at each other. Their oaths only gave them safety for ten seconds after the Golem's demise.

Both of them focused on their recovery, and when the ten seconds were up, Gorilla Slicer looked warily at Vermillion Bride. "We do not need to fight each other."

"Only benefits are eternal. Is that it?" Vermillion Bride asked.

"We also just wanted to advance," Gorilla Slicer answered.

In response, Vermillion Bride activated her Momentum, which had grown significantly after the last battle. She immediately attacked, and despite Gorilla Slicer's attempt at diplomacy, his life ended a couple of seconds later.

Vermillion Bride breathed heavily as relief and exhilaration washed over her.

She was rich!

She had passed the trial, and she had gathered the belongings of her pursuers! Even more, she had harvested two Centers of Major Crushers whom she had killed herself!

Since she had already won against a Major Crusher before, her harvest was enough to allow her to become an Advanced Crusher!

She consumed the Centers and advanced. When she was done, she looked at the Golem's corpse.

The Golem's corpse had lost all Energy, but strangely, the hammer was still there.

When she felt the hammer's special aura, she realized that this was the true reward! Plenty of Seekers would ignore the Golem's hammer and go for the rewards, not realizing that this was the true reward.

She took hold of the hammer, but as soon as she did, she realized something.

It felt... incomplete.

Something was missing that could make it even more outstanding!

'Can there really be such a coincidence?' she thought.

'Is this fate?'

'It has to be fate!'

It pained her to do it, but moments later, she took out a small metallic stone.

She had found this piece of metal when she had still been a Transcendent, and it was her most prized possession.

It was a small bit of Spacetime Metal.

If she could sell it, she would easily earn enough Energy Stones to become a Sage, but it would also paint a target on her back.

She tightly held the piece of Spacetime Metal before opening her eyes with conviction.

She created a complex Formation Array. With this Formation Array, she could consume metal to strengthen weapons.

She put the hammer in the Formation Array's center and used her piece of Spacetime Metal as fuel.

The piece of Spacetime Metal became liquid and flowed into the hammer.

BOOOOM!

A huge storm of Energy appeared, and the hammer started to advance. When she saw the mystical phenomenon, Vermillion Bride knew that she had done the correct thing.

She had just turned a treasure into an even bigger treasure!

And then...

The hammer vanished.

"Thank you for helping," a mysterious voice spoke in her mind. "You may take all of the rewards in the inheritance."

Vermillion Bride just looked forward in shock and horror.

Her treasure!

It was gone!

Frustration, helplessness, and rage filled her.

Yet, when she actually saw the rewards in the next room, all of her frustrations vanished.

Grade Six Energy Stones!

Law Comprehension Fruits!

Mountains of Gravity Metals!

Her piece of Spacetime Metal was not even worth a tenth of this mountain of resources!

As Vermillion Bride felt excitement return to her life, Swamp Dragon delivered the hammer to Fierce Breaker.

"Already?" Fierce Breaker asked.

"Fate can come quickly," Swamp Dragon answered.

Fierce Breaker took a deep breath as he looked at the hammer with a mix of fear and excitement.

This hammer could help him create a tremendously powerful Imposing Law, but it could also kill him.

Fierce Breaker accepted the hammer, and Swamp Dragon left again.

He took another deep breath, readied himself, and pushed Energy Stones into the hammer. By now, his passive ability to gather Energy was no longer enough to support the hammer's advancement. Luckily, he didn't lack resources.

A gigantic storm of Energy appeared as the hammer started to turn into a Sage.

It had been 3,000 years since Kyle had entered the Gate of Death, and the hammer had already reached the Wisdom Fire Realm.

As Fierce Breaker held the hammer, he felt its immense power. Its body was as durable as the body of an Early Spirit Lord Divine Beast. Yet, it had a lightness to it that broke all rules. Even an Advanced Crusher could swing the hammer.

Without waiting, Fierce Breaker commanded the hammer to enter Refinement.

When he saw the hammer gathering Energy, he released a sigh of relief.

'Fortunately, the Refinement is working correctly, and since it can't think, it also can't fail.'

'I don't need to worry about anything. I only need to start the next Refinements every couple of years.'

'That means...'

Fierce Breaker felt a mix of excitement and worry.

'I can focus on swinging it.'
