Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1098: Dream

Chapter 1098: Dream

Since Fierce Breaker had already looked at the Law of Immortal Earth for a while, Kyle had already received a head start. It would still take a while to comprehend it, but it would be easier to comprehend than the other ones.

'Immortal Earth is fascinating,' Kyle thought as Black experienced the attacks of several Immortal Earth lifeforms. 'They are not truly alive, but they mimic life. Since I'm most comfortable with a human appearance, the majority of the Immortal Earth lifeforms also assumed human appearances.'

Kyle noticed that the majority of lifeforms used conjured hammers to attack him. In fact, the way they swung their hammers was pretty impressive. Their swings even exhibited the powers of weaker Imposing Laws.

'It's all about consciousness and perception. Since I'm perceiving them, they're using my consciousness as a blueprint. They are experiencing life through my perception.'

'It's almost like Immortal Earth wants to live but can't. It's something dead that wants to be alive. I didn't expect such strange behavior when I heard that the Level Seven Elements were just called Immortal Elements. I thought they would just be like Yang-Earth and Yin-Earth, but that's not the case.'

'If I comprehend the Law, will my attacks become alive as well? I wonder, do Immortals fight by summoning Elemental Creatures? It's not impossible.'

As Red kept swinging his hammer, Black kept focusing on the figures. One of the figures pulled back its hammer before slamming it forward again. Space, Time, and Gravity distorted around the hammer.

BOOOM!

The hammer hit Black, but he didn't even get injured.

'This is so weird,' Kyle thought. 'Since Immortal Earth also contains all the powers of Major Earth, it grows stronger by consuming the potential of the Primordial Forces. Yet the figures still try to use the Primordial Forces to their advantage, which ironically weakens their attacks. They're realizing the potential of the Primordial Forces directly instead of consuming it to boost their own attacks. It's a bit like a marathon runner who tries to compete in weightlifting.'

As Kyle thought about these aspects, the figure launched another attack. This time, Black evaded to the side, dodging the attack.

BOOOOOM!

The mountain below Black broke into pieces, but instead of scattering, the pieces flew back to the mountain, rebuilding it.

'Just when I thought about their mistake, the figures changed their approach. The realization only existed in my mind, but it changed their behavior. After all, they're living through my perception of them. That attack was so strong that my Energy would've dropped if I had been hit. Scary.'

In the next moment, five more figures with hammers appeared, and they all launched their own attacks.

As Kyle saw the attacks, Black's eyes widened a bit in surprise, and he dodged to the side again.

BANG!

The five attacks landed at the same time, and the destruction they caused had been amplified by tens of times.

'Dude, their fake Imposing Laws doubled in power! That's crazy! If this continues, I might actually enter dangerous territories.'

Ten figures appeared around Black at unexpected speeds and launched more attacks.

Black's eyes narrowed, and this time, he actually had to put in effort to dodge all of the attacks.

Once more, the figures' powers multiplied.

Their speeds increased even more, and twenty additional figures began attacking Kyle.

'Ah, I see what's happening,' Kyle thought as he sensed the emotions generated by Immortal Earth's existence. The emotions told Kyle that the Law Well was drawing in much more Energy than before. It was like an engine that was suddenly running at twenty times its usual speed.

Over 40 figures launched attacks at Black. This time, he didn't move to the side. Instead, he just calmly looked at them.

Attacks that could threaten Black's existence landed on his body.

...

Nothing happened.

Black was hit by all of their attacks, but he didn't even receive an injury.

'Yep, as expected,' Kyle thought. 'They're like the concept of dreams.'

As Black looked at them, the figures dismissed their hammers and started to walk in random directions. Most of them collapsed, while others transformed into different forms of beasts.

'For a long time, I essentially wasn't bothered by their attacks, but as soon as I felt like they were growing stronger, they actually became stronger. When I felt that they were becoming a bit dangerous, they actually became a bit dangerous. When I thought that I had to get serious to resist them, they reached a corresponding level of power.'

'It's all within my perception, and perception can spiral into a feedback loop. A bit of anxiety turns the image more threatening, which validates the anxiety, increasing its intensity, making the image even more threatening, and so on.'

'Immortal Earth's reality exists entirely within my perception. If I believe it to be powerful, it is powerful. Since it's not a living thing, it isn't constrained by the levels of living beings. It can just burn more of its Energy to improve its power.'

Black looked at the mountain below him, which had shrunken a bit. The Law Well had converted a lot of its Immortal Earth Energy into destructive Energies.

'This Law Well is surprisingly volatile. If an Immortal or Lord believes that this Law Well is dangerous, the Law Well would probably burn so much Energy that it can't keep itself stable anymore. If an Ascendant or weaker believes the Law Well to be dangerous, they will be killed by the Law Well.'

Bang!

One of the figures rammed Black with its horned head.

'Yet, it's also not completely safe. Some of the figures will still attack from time to time. The power of their attacks is somewhere in the Domain Realm, but that's only true as long as nobody believes that they are dangerous. Theoretically, an Advanced Spirit Lord could attempt to comprehend Immortal Earth, but practically, it's basically impossible. There's no way an Advanced Spirit Lord will feel safe when hit by such attacks, which would just multiply the power of their attacks.'

'I wonder, if more people are present within such a Law Well, how would it act? Does the entire Law Well live through the strongest consciousness or do the consciousnesses average out? Does the behavior change based on proximity to a consciousness?'

'And what if someone comprehends the Law? Actually, that's not even a question. The Element would have the user's will on it, which means its behavior will completely follow the user's will.'

'There's still a lot to learn about Immortal Earth. Luckily, based on how things look right now, I will get an answer to some of my questions soon.'

Black glanced a bit towards the west. 'This Law Well for Immortal Earth was pretty far to the east of Ayuvar.'

By now, the world had been in recovery for almost 300,000 years, and, as expected, there were already a couple of Ascendants in the world.

However, the Ascendants were mostly focused on the middle of the world, which was also the place where the most Law Wells were located.

There were a lot of Organizations within this world, and the territory in which Black was located belonged to an Organization led by a couple of Spirit Lords.

Kyle watched the Spirit Lords planning and preparing to travel to the Law Well for Immortal Earth. They had been preparing for centuries, gathering intel and accumulating resources.

This Law Well had already killed several of their people, and they wanted to find a way to conquer and tame it.

'There's no way this doesn't end in disaster,' Kyle thought. 'They're so terrified of this Law Well that it will obliterate them as soon as they come close to it.'

'Should I warn them?'
