"Good stuff." His eyes lit up.

After thinking for just a moment, he decided to use it.

Pulling it out of his dantian, he moved it to his heart and let it dissolve into his blood and slowly spread throughout his body. Of course, he did this while suppressing the Devil Blood that wanted to devour it badly, constantly emanating suction power.

As the drop’s devil energy spread throughout his body and strands of it began assimilating into his blood, his muscles, and bones, essentially every cell, he felt extremely comfortable and almost moaned out loud.

With his eyes closed, he enjoyed this sensation and watched in amazement as his frail body rapidly strengthened.

Within a few moments, it went from Mortal level to One Star level, then Two Star, Three Star...

The reason for his astonishment was because unlike before, he hadn’t cultivated the Barbarian God Physique technique but he was still more powerful than he was at this stage when cultivating the Barbarian God Physique.

’Since it has been strengthened thanks to the Devil Energy, can I call it Devil Body?’ He thought ideally. Then a thought crossed his mind and he frowned.

’How come Isolde’s physique wasn’t powerful?’

This bit of Devil Energy came from Lord Grimheart and Isolde also possessed the same, though a much weaker version of it. Still, since she could control it, shouldn’t her physique be a lot more powerful than it was?

’Hm? Maybe because theirs isn’t refined like this drop was, so she can only use it to battle?’ He thought, his pupils flickering. ’If it’s true, maybe even using it to battle should be troublesome for her and even for Lord Grimheart, just like the Death Energy was for me?’

He felt the truth should be somewhat similar to this and let out a sigh of relief. If they could harness the Devil Energy properly, maybe even Grand Elder Rowan wouldn’t have been Lord Grimheart’s match and neither would he have been Isolde’s without tapping into his Bloodline, Nascent and Death Energies.

However, while they probably couldn’t harness the Devil Energy, someone could—The Devils.

After a while, he stopped thinking about them and began using Mana Crystals to recover his bloodline energy, using up another fourteen crystals which left him with just twenty one.

’This consumption is too high.’ He sighed. ’I’ll have to find a way to earn a significant amount of resources. Otherwise, it would take a very long time to reach the King Realm.’

There was a saying: Mortal Realms were Earth and the Spirit Realms the Heaven. And that the latter realms relied more on comprehension.

While it was true that comprehension was the major factor in the Spirit Realms, the importance of resources couldn’t be undermined. In fact, compared to the Mortal Realms—One Star to Four Star—the Spirit Realms required countless times more resources. The higher one progressed in the Spirit Realms, the more and more resources one needed.

The major thing one needed to do in the Five Star realm was to liquify all the mana in dantian. When one liquified all the mina one had the moment they break into the Five Star realm, one would progress to the Middle Stage of the Five Star Realm.

After ten percent, he noticed the minor cracks had begun to close, but their speed of closing was very slow.

After half of the Bloodline Energy had been consumed, the smallest cracks had fully closed, but Max’s expression had hardened and he stopped infusing more energy into it.

Seeing how it had taken so much Bloodline Energy to repair even the smallest cracks, he could barely imagine the total amount he would need to heal the Mana Core completely.

Sure, he could recover it by using Mana Crystals, but, first, he didn’t have nearly enough Mana Crystals and, second, even if he had, he wouldn’t have done this because after recovering the Bloodline Energy through this method for a certain number of times, his lust would become uncontrollable.

With Esme and others locked in the Tower, Lily, Emily and Sera missing and Rima in her condition... he didn’t have anyone who could have sex with at the moment. Therefore, he couldn’t afford to go into Lust Overdrive... until he could.

’Only if Lily, Emily and Sera were here. Oh, Belen and Leticia too.’ He thought. He really missed them after not seeing them for such a long time, especially Belen and Leticia.

’Those two, just where have they gone to?’ He thought, his brows knitting together. Earlier, he had confirmed that they were alive and were possibly in some minor realm. But which realm was it? How was he supposed to find them?

Then there were Lily, Emily and Sera...

"Why haven’t they contacted me yet? Or could it be that they had returned from the desolate region and tried reaching out to me but because I was stranded in the minor realm, I missed them?" He muttered, "I hope it’s the latter."

If they had missed him, they should have gone to the Ice Sovereign Mountain. He just needed to go there to find them.

However, if they hadn’t returned from the desolate region yet...
