Chapter 1525: Training
Chapter 1525: Training
"This is truly a blessed place." Nathan smiled, looking at his domain. "There are so many herbs. I’m sure we can give birth to a lot of doctors with all these herbs."
"Agreed." Vivian nodded. "It will definitely help us a lot. After all, herbs are not used solely for medicine but also as sacrificial items and materials for evolution."
"Yeah." Nathan turned around. Selena and the girls were also practicing nearby.
For the last few days, they had been following Nathan’s instructions for the crystal method.
Even Iris was training hard.
Selena had Lilith, who actually didn’t mind about having a crystal form. However, she seemed to have her own agenda.
According to a certain goddess of earth, her intention was probably the same as hers. She wanted the karma from Nathan’s blood.
She benefited a lot when Vivian officially broke the master-and-disciple relationship to become his woman.
And this time, Selena was probably doing the same thing, but not in the same way. Lilith might be a vampire progenitor, but she was also related to lust. So, her plan was quite obvious.
Nathan was just worried about what would happen if Selena and Lilith used the Crystal Fusion. He would probably be sucked dry, especially his blood.
Still, Selena planned to have a wand as her weapon. So, she abandoned her own artifact to get this new form.
Sera had a lifebound contract with Janus. Brunhild and Raphael were quite disappointed, but it was true that Sera was more suitable with Janus.
With the power of duality, she would become even stronger than Anubis as a support.
However, Sera didn’t intend to have a weapon this time. Rather, she planned to remain using her own artifacts to boost her power and concentrated her power on something else.
This was something Nathan had considered before, but because of the lack of artifacts, he didn’t really do it.
Alavenya’s lifebound contract was with Xing Tian. He was known for his tenacity and undying body.
Once the Dragon King knew about this method as well as the lifebound contract with Xing Tian, he was actually crying while muttering, "This is it. If only she had it before... she would have perfected the ability and would still be alive."
The Dragon King believed that his wife could still be alive if she had had this power before. It was regrettable, but at the very least, Alavenya could be the one who perfected the method and transcended.
The Dragon King knew Sullivan wanted Noelle to be a sword god, so the Dragon King thought Alavenya could be the martial god.
Nevertheless, it was still much later in the future. Nathan would assist them, but whether they succeeded or not depended on their efforts.
Alavenya didn’t have a weapon. At most, she would wear gloves, but that would probably not be necessary once she achieved Crystal Fusion with Xing Tian. So, she could concentrate that power somewhere else.
As for the details, Alavenya hadn’t made any plan yet, as she had just practiced this power for a few days.
Flora had the Lightning Spirit as her lifebound familiar. It was a great spirit, but Nathan planned to evolve him further. At the very least, he wanted this spirit to be a spirit god or something, but he didn’t know whether he would succeed.
Still, becoming an ancient spirit like Vivian’s familiar was an easy step. They had an abundant amount of herbs, so they could use them as a catalyst for evolution.
Since she had Melissa as her mentor, Melissa offered to teach her personally. She thought about passing down her entire fighting style, which would make her similar to Sera.
Surprisingly, Flora agreed on the spot. It looked like she had realized her role after Nathan returned to the continent.
With the addition of Vivian, Luna, and Evelyn, they had too many fighters in the group.
So, Flora chose to fight in the way she could offer the most help.
This way, she and Sera could support the team from behind. Bella would join them as well, but Bella had a much more versatile ability, so her role would be more like a buffer between the fighters and the supports.
Last but not least, Noelle. Her path was the most straightforward. After the death of her grandfather, Noelle walked the path of a sword god.
It wouldn’t be a pure sword god, but it was still a sword god.
Xolotl would take care of her emotions and cultivate them to become her divinity. As for her crystal form, she was probably the one with the clearest idea in mind.
Since her partner was a demon, she planned to have the duke become her sword, while his partner, the gryphon, become her armor.
This would create a balance in everything.
Nathan had high hopes for them, so he let them practice as much as possible. He knew they had very little time left unless he wanted this world destroyed.
His eyes soon shifted to Iris. He didn’t know whether Iris would take part in that battle or not, but her progress was extremely quick.
She had yet to forge a lifebound contract because she hadn’t found one that was suitable for her.
However, it didn’t mean she couldn’t use a crystal form. Since there were no contracts, she could use crystal forms of all her familiars.
She just picked a temporary one until she figured out the type of familiar she wanted to have as a lifebound familiar.
Nathan smiled, satisfied with everyone’s progress. "Now that I think about it, where are the others?"
"They..." Vivian raised her head. "Bella is currently taking care of all the paperwork. You probably need to review them later."
"As expected of her, I know I can leave everything to her. So, Evelyn is with her?"
"Not really. She is the one going around. I believe she is visiting Principal Leyfon right now, probably telling him about the journey as well as the revenge. Principal Leyfon would love to know about it and maybe tell the people who were affected by that banquet in the past."
"A proper conclusion..." Nathan nodded in agreement. "How about Luna?"
"Luna..." Vivian smiled wryly, not knowing what to say about her situation.
...
Blacksmith Guild.
Elder Thompson was kneeling in front of Luna. "Oh, Master. Please take me as your disciple."
