Chapter 1533: Selena’s Request

As expected, the presentation had caused a massive shock wave to the entire continent.

When the people left the venue, there were dozens of staff who handed over the transcripts.

Those people would then spread it even wider, allowing them to increase their level. This would then soon spread to the front line, which would bolster their defense.

Nathan hoped this would be enough to buy him enough time to get stronger.

Now that he had finished everything, he immediately returned home. There were still a few things he had yet to handle.

"Melissa. It looks like you have achieved your objective." Nathan smiled.

"Indeed. I have received an offer from the royal family of the Azilia Kingdom. However, I’m thinking about using the recommendation of the Envien family."

"Ah?"

The Envien family was the duke family where her lover, Jay, came from. They were supposed to have become in-laws if not for the bloody banquet.

"They actually offered to adopt me." Melissa chuckled. "Of course, they want me to fix my personal life since they don’t want that life to end up harming their reputation. I have promised them to stop drinking alcohol and keep my personal life clean, so yeah..."

Nathan nodded. "I see. I wish you luck."

"Yeah. Thank you, Nathan. If not for you, my time might still be frozen." Melissa smiled. "Well, that means I have to settle down there for the time being, but I will visit this place from time to time. If you need anything from me, don’t hesitate to send a letter."

Nathan smiled. Melissa had gone through a lot, so he was glad that she was able to change her life.

Vivian had already stopped bickering with her as it had become awkward when Melissa suddenly matured up like that.

Evelyn would be the one bringing her to the Envien family, so she would definitely not be mistreated there.

"How is it, Iris? The demonstration is not hard, right?" Nathan patted Iris’s shoulder.

Iris nodded. "I will continue to do my best, Master."

"Good. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask me. If you don’t know who to summon for your next familiar, you can call me. My familiars have more than enough knowledge to give you the answer."

"Yes!" Iris nodded.

After helping with the demonstration, Iris felt she could finally stand straight.

In the past, her family was exterminated because of the foolishness of another noble.

To survive, she and her brother had to do everything they could, including stealing. They hid their identities so that no one would recognize them.

However, after meeting Nathan, her status was gradually restored. Then, the demonstration allowed her to finally stand like the nobles she had been before.

Iris politely bowed to Nathan first before walking away. She thought, ’It’s weird. At first, I wanted to rebuild my family. But after all this time... this place... has become my new home.

’I believe I want to make the Reckmoon family better than any other family. Master will probably do it by himself, but while he is not here, I vow to protect the family.’

Since he had sent away the people that came back with him, he first visited Selena. "Selena. How are you doing? Have you summoned another vampire?"

"I just want to ask you one question. Have you talked to Luna?" Nathan asked. The way she shut him up reminded him of Luna.

"We definitely have a few lengthy discussions." Selena nodded.

Nathan smiled wryly. He never thought Luna would kill him with a borrowed knife. "Well, I do have one name that I have always thought will be suitable for you."

"Who is that?"

"Goddess of the Night, Nyx."
