Chapter 1734: Another Problem
Chapter 1734: Another Problem
"Ahahaha!"
"Come here!"
Selena and Sera were creating their own waves to see who was stronger. Bella and Evelyn had a showdown to create a sandcastle, but for some reason Vivian entered the battle and created a vine-covered sandcastle instead.
Once they didn’t have to worry about a battle anymore, they looked like ordinary people, just trying to be happy.
Nathan told them that they could enjoy their time for the time being. So, they did. They knew that when they could enjoy themselves, they should spend their time well, because once they needed to rush, Nathan would work them to death.
Nathan felt pretty much blessed. This was probably a sight that he could only imagine in his mind back on Earth.
"This is hot. I’m really going to return after this..." Fenrir sighed.
"Say that when you’re not buried like that..." Nathan looked at him with a judging gaze. Fenrir’s entire body had been buried under the sand, leaving only his head.
"I have always wanted to try this, you know? In the past, I only stayed in a cave," Fenrir scoffed.
"I’m bored with the sands, though." Anubis looked away. "The sea, on the other hand, is different."
"At least, this feels good." Mae was lying down on Nathan’s arm, wearing a white bikini.
"It seems that enjoying life is also a good thing." Xolotl nodded in agreement.
"I have traveled to a lot of places, but I don’t really enjoy my life. Having such a relaxed time occasionally might be a good idea." Garuda agreed.
Nidhogg, Tiamat, and Orochi didn’t really come out.
Nathan sipped the cold drink while looking at the sand. Most of it was actually wet because the water had reached this place. It wasn’t a natural occurrence.
Nathan had summoned Kun so that Kun could enjoy himself. As a result, a large amount of water surged onto the land, which was why it wet the beach.
Fortunately, they were strong enough to just dry the sand with their power, but they weren’t going to waste their power on doing it. They just dried anything they needed.
Noelle and Flora came to him, bringing a few skewers.
"Nathan, try this. My aunt said eating barbecue on the beach is good. We will do it again later tonight." Flora smirked. As expected of the duchess who controlled the sea, her advice was quite spot-on.
Alavenya seemed to be enjoying herself cooking the meat, while Luna was controlling her golems to do a lot of things. A few of them joined hands to create a sandcastle, trying to beat Evelyn and the others. Some golems were setting up a lot of their equipment, while the others just served her.
Nathan just smiled because everyone was enjoying themselves. To think that one day before this, he was on the verge of dying, it was quite laughable.
Even Asmodeus reminded him again of his previous summoner, who died because of his uncontrolled lust.
"Everyone is having fun. I guess we should do that." Nathan smiled playfully.
"Do what?" Flora asked while lying down on the chair next to his.
"I will give you a surprise later." Nathan winked. He had plenty of things he wanted to try.
However, peace never lasted long.
All of a sudden, the sea started to rise.
"Hmm?" Nathan raised his eyebrows. The only reason the sea rose was Kun. He couldn’t think of any other reasons.
The sea swept the sandcastles that Evelyn and the others made. Obviously, they were trying to use the barriers to block the wave, but Kun wasn’t the type to ruin their fun.
Even when he first wanted to enter the sea, he requested Nathan’s permission first so that the others would be alerted.
"Kun? What are you doing?" Nathan asked aloud. "Is there a strong alien attacking us under the sea?"
"There is an attack, Master." Kun replied in his mind.
"What? An attack?!" Nathan widened his eyes in shock.
"Yes. It’s not just under the sea."
"What are you talking about?" Nathan couldn’t sense anything. He thought Kun was playing around.
However, Flora suddenly tugged Nathan’s arm and pointed at Mae and the others.
A few of their familiars were also enjoying the vacation. It looked like some of them noticed something was wrong.
Among them, Fenrir and the others had looked up.
Lilith, Gaia, and even Chiyou stared into the sky.
"What’s going on?" Nathan looked up, wondering what they were looking at.
"Master. It looks like the alien is serious about destroying this world," Kun replied. "With your permission, I would like to get out of the sea and head up there."
"The sky? Is there something in the sky? I can’t sense it."
"I’m not talking about the sky. I’m talking about outer space."
"What?" Nathan was dumbfounded. He thought Kun was playing around.
Xolotl finally spoke. "There is a big asteroid coming."
"A big asteroid?" Nathan dropped his jaw to the ground. He knew what an asteroid was. "The atmosphere will burn it completely, right?"
Xolotl shook his head. "No. This asteroid is different from a normal one. I can sense a massive amount of power moving that asteroid. I’m afraid this is an attack from the aliens."
"Seriously?"
Flora and the others were confused. Selena, Sera, and everyone who was playing around the beach had returned to ask what was going on.
Xolotl said, "This is going to be quite troublesome. Right now, only a few of us can actually go to outer space. This kind of power... I’m afraid that only the Outer Gods can use it."
"Outer Gods? You mean, Yog-Sothoth is going to come?"
"No, it’s a pure asteroid. I’m afraid it’s trying to hit this world. Even if it’s not going to destroy the world, it will cause massive devastation to the lives on this planet. We need to go up there and stop it right now, or else we’re going to be screwed."
"I will also go. Hey, good thing that your luck works. I’m afraid this is the real attack from the aliens, not those seven apex class aliens. This one is much harder to stop. Maybe it’s been delayed because your luck doesn’t let it meddle in your happy moment. It stops until the wedding, but your luck has run out."
Mae muttered, "Dinosaurs..."
